(Proposal…read more#16872151) OCI360 Exteriors sent out someone to look at the project (June 7, 2024) and spent a few hours measuring and talking about procedure and policies etc. He gave me a quote within a few hours and even offered to lower it if we would pay cash. He called his boss while we were sitting there, who offered an even better price if we would let them put a sign up and pressure us to agree to terms on the spot, which I said I would not do without my spouse. They sent the proposal (June 18, 2024) and we agreed to terms that day or the next and I signed the contract. They sent an invoice for the first third of the work (June 28, 2024, I didn't see this the first time, and requested that they resent it on July 1, 2024). They sent the project manager out to look at the job (On or about July 3, 2024) and look at logistics. He told me that once the deposit was paid they will file a permit the same day with our town. I texted them immediately after the deposit was sent (July 8, 2024) and my phone rang within 10 seconds. They said they mismeasured the job (two weeks earlier) and it would require $5500 more for them to do the job. This was a 68% increase over the agreed upon (signed contract) price. They asked me how much my other offers were for and I said I wouldn't tell them that and that I expected the company to hold up their end of our contract. I do not think they are losing money at all. After two weeks since I paid and they have still not filed a permit or delivered a dumpster as promised. The project manager texted me today to say that his office would start processing the return of my deposit as they would not do the job unless we agreed to pay 68% more than the quoted, signed upon price. If this review is still posted here, then this matter has not been resolved, and my money has still not been refunded.

Recommended by my husbands co-worker, Michael was awesome to work with. Very responsive and helpful. Prior to the big day, they delivered the supplies and dumpster and on the actual day the crew arrived ready to go! They quickly set up the protective nets around the whole house and then stripped the old shingles, fixed the hole and replaced bad boards. This was my first roof replacement and I had no idea what to expect, but they were done so quickly! They were there approximately from 8-2ish, if I remember correctly. They did a great cleanup job as well. I was going to write a review when this was done a month ago but forgot. To my surprise, a cookie delivery came today thanking us for our business! They didn't finish the outer walls, didnt use a gfi outlet for the bathroom outlet, never scheduled the final inspection, and left 2 piles of trash, (1 inside, 1 outside). He said they sold Marvin doors and that I could look on their site to see if they had the sort of style we were looking for. On the Marvin site they did in fact have the kind of style we were looking for. We came in for our in-person appointment, the salesman showed us French doors, not really what we were interested in so I showed him the Marvin site. He said "we sell Marvin doors but not TruStile." Apparently TruStile was bought by Marvin but for whatever reason Affordable Windows and Doors doesn't sell particular lines in a brand they carry? He didn't offer up any alternatives in a similar style from perhaps another door company and made no attempts to actually help us find something in the style we were looking for. He basically showed us one French door, told us we don't sell doors like the ones on the site he told us to go look on and that was it. Guess I'll order from the door company directly.
