Went to Style nails today for a dip manicure. I was able to get right in without an appointment. The nail tech that did my nails was very good and very pleasant. However, the color she put on was nowhere near the color I picked out, even though the number on the container was correct. When they did the first nail, I told her I didn't think the color was right, but she assured me it would be fine. So I went with it. I mentioned it again that the color was nowhere near what I picked out and that comment was ignored. When I paid with a card there was nowhere for me to leave a tip on the receipt. I was told I either needed to use Venmo or use their ATM. Unfortunately, the nail techs tip was reduced by the amount of the fee I was charged to use their ATM. Probably will not be going back to Style Nails. read more

I forgot why I stopped going to this place so unfortunately I went back. I solemnly swear never to forget again! I made an appt for gel pedicures for me and my daughter. Initially I was also going to get a gel manicure. We were taken right away... so far so good. (BEWARE: The upsell will begin as soon as you're seated). Which pedicure would you like? Basic spa starts at $37. Plus gel $15. Would you like design? Would you like callous removed? (there were no callouses) Would you like eyebrow? One could argue that there was nothing wrong with that. However, there was a Definite shift in the atmosphere after we declined each. Plus they began to talk amongst themselves.... and not in English. The real problem began when the nail tech burned my toes w/ the drill. When I told her, she didn't listen to me, she did it again AND attempted to justify her actions. Even the nail tech doing my daughters nails asked her to stop repeating herself. She also used the drill to remove cuticles and cut me. She used 3 coats of polish...(see results in pictures). Lastly...and worst of all... I paid the other nail tech while the one who worked on me was doing something towards the back of the salon. When she looked up we were walking towards the exit. She ran towards us saying "Pay Pay Pay" as if we were walking out without paying. This was both rude and insulting. I do not recommend this business. read more

I was disappointed that I made an appointment online for 5pm but came to find out that they don't look at or record online appointments. Had to wait 45 minutes as a result. Worst experince ever, I did a pedi it is all ugly and they left all the cuticles, the nail polish fell of right away do not even go there is better places with better costumer service, also the ladies talk shit about you in Vietnamese. I came here Sunday with my mom and sister for a "spa day" and I'm a bit disappointed. I was in town visiting from AZ, and I asked if they did the dip powder. The gal hesitated a bit before acknowledging that they do. I was in need of having mine done, so I asked to see the selection. Everything in my gut was telling me not to do it just based on her hesitation and just stick with the pedi but both my mom and sister were also getting their nails done (a gel and regular mani) so I gave in. When I saw they only had about 15 colors to choose from, that was another red flag, telling me they most likely don't do many dips. Fast forward to the end result. They looked pretty when I left the shop and the shape is great. However they are so thin and already (2 days later) already cracking and peeling! I mentioned to the girl before I left that I felt they were too thin, she assured me they were perfect, and "natural." I don't have tips on, these are my nails and now I fear I'm going to lose them due to breakage. I flew back to AZ the next day so I wasn't even able to go back to have them redone. I feel it was a big waste of the $45 + tip that I paid. Im going to have to go to my place here in AZ and have them redone if I have any hopes of saving my natural nails. Rachel has no idea how to schedule. If you can't commit to an appointment time, don't schedule that person for that time. They even had to finally call another gal to come in, in order to get my pedicure done. Go to Champlin Nails instead! They get you in at your scheduled appointment time. Had regular pedi at 7 pm appointment. I had gel on from last pedi with them. They said the charge is $5 for removing ( ripping off the gel. I have gone there more than 2 years, never had I paid to remove get... I have had both regular and gel polish on my toes! Then at about 7:35, and thru the pedi they talked in their language. I just started working in Champlin so I'm in search of a good nail salon. First time I came it was great! Gel manicure lasted almost 3 weeks before chipping. Next time, eyebrow wax went great! Next next 2 times, my gel manicure started peeling right away and was completely gone in a week. Ugh! I hate the feeling of having to hope you get a person that knows what they're doing. And be sure you bring cash for a tip because they'll definately ask! I realize you don't want to pay taxes on your tips, but I don't want to pay taxes on my income either so quit asking! I got a gel pedicure and within 24hr, two toe nails have already come off. I spent extra money to get gel so they would last longer, that clearly isn't the case here. I would give 0 stars if I could. I called to make an appointment for a pedicure for the day of or the next day. They said they could get me in now, so I hurried up and got over there. A man put me in a chair and told me to put my feet in. It was scalding hot and he had walked away. He didn't come back for 15 minutes!!! The lady next to me had been there for a quite a while already and the worker doing her pedicure had walked away from her and went to do a wax on another person and she didn't come back for about 10 ten minutes. They are horrible here I will never return, my daughters bridal party went here for nails and pedicures. My two teenage daughters go their nails done and I specifically talked to the ladies to their nails. I told them no extras no add ons nothing just acrylic nails for the $25 and they said ok. When I went to pay the bill the charged me $40 for each, I asked why and they said because they did the gel overlay and some other add on things. I was furious I asked my daughters and they said they don't know what they got for they could not understand them and what they were asking. They did not even talk to them they just smiled cuz they could not understand them. Another girl in the party also got charged like $95 for nails and pedicure both basics should not have been more than $60. Will never recommend this place ever horrible buisness. read more

The thing that I was a little annoyed with at both places is the girls doing nails and chatting with each other in their foreign language, laughing and chuckling, and I just thought it was very rude to myself, and other english speaking customers, that have no idea who or what they're talking about!
