I called the phone number listed and was told by the call center person "yes the business is inside the suites" which was weird because my appointment confirmation did not mention this at all but no big deal. I went to the door to go in but it was locked. I tried to look inside for anyone but could not see inside. I called the line again and was told by the call center that the esthetician was running behind and she would be out shortly. At this point it had been ten minutes past my appointment. So I stood outside and waited a few more minutes. I called the center again and they informed me of the same thing, she was running behind and would be out shortly. As I was on the phone someone from a different salon suite opened the door for me and let me inside. I was able to walk to the salon suite for Hello Sugar and check in with Victoria. She apologized for running behind and told me she would be with me shortly. Totally understandable and not at all bothered by this. The service was great and Victoria was very informative. I left satisfied with the service but I would have appreciated detailed instructions with my online check in about the location of the business to eliminate confusion and not have to wait outside in 20° Minnesota weather for 10-15 minutes.

I've learned a LOT more about curly hair from internet research. I will not be back again. I was warned of the post treatment burning sensation and of the possibility of inflammation. Those both happened to a degree which I don't feel I was warned about. On day 6, I developed what I thought was a rash/infection by my mouth. I contacted my doctor since it was a Sunday, and was advised to be seen in person. Turned out that I had gotten shingles (I have been vaccinated)! I was prescribed an Antiviral as well as some ointment. I had also sent an email to Belladerm. They did contact me on Monday and offered to call in a prescription for an Antiviral. I feel like some sort of partial refund for the issue would have been an appropriate gesture. I will say that my skin tone from the treatment is a little better, but not TWO THOUSAND dollars better (plus the cost of the doctors visit and prescriptions). It was not money well spent. I did learn my lesson.

I wanted some highlights to blend with my white hair and it turned out she did yellow chonk highlights and I told her very clear that I didn't want yellow or orange, that what I wanted was gray, it was really a disaster. She said they would do it again but I was really scared to go again because my hair had already been bleached and I didn't want to ruin any more hair, it was definitely disastrous and at the end of everything we discussed Layna said I should go 2 or 3 times to achieve that but then I asked her why didn't she tell me before and I could decide whether to do it or not, and not only is that , they used my card from the first time I went there because when I left no one charged me and they used my card from my first visit without my consent and debited $180 Layna had told me $120 I feel totally scammed because I did not authorize that transaction and not only did she destroy my hair, but the worst is used my credit card without my authorization, and that's not fair.

I am plus size (5'7 240lbs) and this place was plus size friendly. When you make the appointment, they ask for your robe size and shoe size. Those will be located in your locker when you get walked back. They will give you a warm towel to wash your hands as you walk and it feels lovely! The lockers are easy to use. There are two toilets and a shower. This area is fairly small, however I never ran into anyone. You can undress as much (or as little) as you want. I get rid of everything but my underwear. Then you will go to the holding area. It's a very beautiful and relaxing area. There is water (flat and sparking) and some small snacks. Your provider will come get you from that room. Both times I have been here, my providers (male and female) have been very polite, friendly and respectful. The massage was wonderful! I felt amazing afterwards!! When you are done, they bring you back to The holding area and you can stay there as long as you like. The only reason I took a star off is because I had received a birthday promotion email and this was not automatically taken off at the desk. I didn't notice until I got to my car. So make sure you show/tell them at check out!! Overall, this is a nice place and I would come back
