From day one he was clear about how cumbersome the process would be, how expensive, and how much maintenance would be needed. Despite all that, I dove in and it was so worth it! It was beautifully decorated with what she explained were her husbands paintings. (the salon doubles as a workshop but a really tidy one!) Very quick work as well, but the final result is always beautiful in my experience. If I tell the nail technician what I want, she does exactly that. The nail techs are extremely quick, which can result in some minor nicks and discomfort - but nothing too bad. It just happens when you're working quickly, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive. The procedure for dip powder is a quick one - no curing required. So it can be a nice option for those who are wary about the curing lamps. They cut, buff, dip a few times, then shape the nail, and add the finishing touches. It takes around an hour or less for a basic dip powder manicure. Which is great if you're in a rush. I highly suggest the more translucent shimmers with a few gem touches (top row in the swatch book), it makes for an elegant manicure. Overall I would come back for a quick manicure / pedicure and highly suggest people to try them out. A lot of nail salons get booked in advanced so it's great to see that some salons (like this one) can accommodate walk-ins.

When I went back to ask for a repair, I was being charged $10 dollars. In terms of friendly customer service, I would question it, my daughter requested a specific tone of color and was given the 1 tone the nail shop had available. They used gel color to paint the tip or her nail rather than powder like most nail spas. She was never asked if that tone was okay or whether she wanted to choose something different. Also the nail beds look cloudy as opposed to a transparent glossy finish. She even showed the nail tech an image of what she wanted and got something different and was charged $55 for some cheap work. When I went to talk to the owner Susan who apparently was the person who worked on my daughter's nails she wanted to charge me $35 to fix the one nail and change the color. Mind you I was not asking for a change of completely color. I was primarily asking for the nail to be fixed. Had I paid the $35 i would have been paying a total of $90 for a super short set . I dislike being "that" person but figured it's fair for others to know how they may invest their money. Check the pics out. Ultimately, she fixed the broken nail for free and did a worser job. Didn't even bother cleaning it, shaping it or ensuring it was the same length/width to her other thumb. Im now gana have to go home and file the sides and length. Never again...
