Today was my first day visiting this salon! I read the reviews and many recommended Diana so I decided to give it a try and booked an appointment with her. The place is absolutely beautiful, welcoming and very clean. The staff was extremely professional from the minute you walk in. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment and they offered me a drink and made me feel comfortable. So, back to Diana. She worked her magic on my hair and from this day forward she will be my new hair stylist. Today was the first time someone got the highlights I wanted right. I made an appointment in advance for my son. I confirmed one-on-one with my stylist that she could cut his hair at that specific time due to his young age. She confirmed and said she was looking forward to it. We checked in right on time and waited over 35 minutes before I decided to leave. The salon seems to constantly double book and then run behind. Not only was my son waiting for his appointment, her next client after my son also arrived and started waiting as well. Shame on the business owner for running this salon this way. Neither me or my son will be back and I won't be referring the family and friends as I originally planned. Time is very valuable to me and time with my son is most precious of all; I was looking forward to spending this time with my son after his day at daycare and my long day at work. This salon showed me that they don't share the same values, so I will happily take my business elsewhere. Seriously, how could you do that to a three year old? read more

My highlights look natural and I'm able to go longer until my next visit. I've come here a handful of times, the service is always spot on. They know their stuff, always leave happy. It's little pricey tho.

The place is really reasonable priced and Emily is a good stylist. The problem is that she will make you wait on her (she is habitually behind schedule) and she will cancel your appointment last minute. Now, if you are late or have to cancel she will penalize you and try to make you pay a deposit when you schedule an appointment. She actually had the receptionist call me back after I called to let her know I was running EIGHT minutes late to say "she was too booked and I had to reschedule". Though I wait on her, at minimum, 15 minutes every time I go. She has canceled on me while I was driving to my appointment. I have never received a discount on services or free product for my time wasted, yet I'm expected to put down a deposit? I understand the inconveniences of a client running late or cancelling, but it works both ways. Her schedule is not the only one that matters. You can't habitually run behind and cancel or your clients and then when they do the same expect them to be held accountable, but you're not? Then try to blame every cancelled appointment on the client. I'm also not the only client she has done this to. While she was doing my hair she was telling the receptionist to tell another client that he would have to put down a deposit because he was a no show ONCE. I will not bash her quality of work, because she is a good stylist, but if you have any life outside of getting your hair done, don't expect her to be accommodating. read more

Diana has been doing my hair for the last 14 years. I refuse to go to anyone else and drive an hour from DC to get my hair done. She's amazing! The staff at the salon are very friendly and they do a great job. I'd been trying to get in to see Diana for almost 2 months and she actually scheduled me for a late appointment and stayed late just for me. They make you feel special. I recommend her and her salon for all of your styling needs and can't wait for them to get their nail tech. It will be a one stop shop for me. :-) read more
