I can't say enough good things about Stylistic Fencing. From start to finish, the experience was above and beyond what I've come to expect from contractors. Travon was incredibly polite, professional, and personable--right away, I could tell he genuinely cared about doing the job right. As it turns out, he's originally from Georgia, not far from where I used to live, and that Southern kindness definitely came through in how he and his team worked. I also want to recognize Tiffany, their estimator and team member, who was equally wonderful. She did a fantastic job with the take-offs and estimate--thoughtfully accounting for a kickboard/rot-board on our slope, something you only see from experienced, high-quality fence contractors. The quality of their work is outstanding. They used heavy-duty Postmaster steel posts, top-notch lumber, and importantly, screws instead of nails or staples. They even chose the correct coated screws to prevent reaction with the wood so it wouldn't cause the streaks you often see on lower quality built fences. The attention to detail was just next level. They took their time, not in a slow way, but in a careful, thoughtful way. Every cut was clean, every post was set perfectly straight, and they even cleaned up thoroughly afterward, making sure everything looked great before they left. They didn't just install a fence--they elevated the whole look of the yard. It honestly felt like having extended family working on the project -- people you trust and enjoy being around. Fencing is an important part of the aesthetic and protection of a home. Due to this, we interviewed 6 fencing companies; they ranged from overly pricey with no transparency and lack of response to questions you may have, to little or no warranty/guarantee in their work despite the project being very affordable. However, there was one company which stood out; reason being they were respectable, communicative, thorough in their estimate, and punctual. Travon's company is built on a dream of a young man who wants it to succeed. Not only is he a perfectionist, he wants his customer to be thrilled of the result. They use whatever material you like. For our project we used Vinyl. They use Halco fencing material, but you have an option to use Home Depot or Lowes. We did 3 fencing projects with Travon which spanned a month (each weekend). One encompassed a pool pump enclosure with a custom entrance where a shower will go, back fence with a "very slow" rental manager, and a side fence which was falling over. His team first tackled the side fence which was a true hazard, demolishing and installing the fence in a day. The following weekend they did the back fence which involved removing vegetation from my neighbors back yard before finally demolishing and installing the fence. Lastly it was the custom pool pump enclosure with 2 gates, with rewiring of the pool pump, and installation of a custom keypad lock. He has a small hard working crew and they work from dawn to dusk. We were able to interact closely with him and his team and they are respectable young men. If you aren't satisfied with a certain panel or how a gap is, Travon will personally make sure it will get done to your satisfaction. This is rare in a company and that is why I highly recommend Stylistic Fencing for any fencing projects. read more

Travon was the one who reached out to me and I met him the day of when I was shopping around to get my gate fixed. He listened to my problem and gave me the best solution without spending too much $$$. Glen the subcontractor came out the next day and fixed my gate in a few hours. I was so happy with them I asked if they could fix my fence since it was slanted and with the rain it was falling apart. There were even big gaps in between each wood so I needed to get it fixed fairly quickly and they gave me a fair price. I made some changes during the project and they were very accommodating and nice about it. I had my side fence done by Eregon who subcontracted the work to Stylistic Fencing, and it was of very poor quality. Many of the wood pieces that they used were damaged. Moreover, the gap between the adjacent panels for some of the pickets is unacceptable as I can see my neighbor's yard through the gaps. When I discussed this is Paula she stated the gaping between the pickets is normal. Yet I showed her two examples: one where the pickets were closer and acceptable and one where there is almost two-inch gap between them. I am yet to hear a response from Paula. Eregon and Stylistic Fencing are refusing to look into this issue, and I will be filling a case with the California State Licensing Board if they further refuse to look into the issues associated with my fence. I hired Travon Ford, owner of Stylistic Fencing, in November 2021 to replace a 30-year-old metal fence at the rear of my property that had fallen into disrepair. Before finding Stylistic Fencing I had had trouble getting responses from fence companies - of four companies I contacted, only one responded, and that one, despite two phone calls and repeated promises to give me a bid on my job, never came through with a bid. If you look up my other reviews you'll see a different fence company that I favorably reviewed several years ago. I also called them - twice - but never got a call back. So at that point I put the project on hold for a few weeks, and then started looking again. The second time around I contacted seven different fence companies and received four bids. Of those, Travon was the only one who actually came to my property, looked at the existing fence, and talked to me about what I wanted and what my concerns were. For example, I needed the fence to be secure, because I have a dog who can't be allowed to escape the yard. I had previously placed retaining wall bricks along the base of the fence line to keep him from digging under it. Though effective, that was an unsightly solution. There was also a very large lemonade berry bush that was rooted on my side of the existing fence, but growing under it and up into my neighbor's yard. Travon offered suggestions on how to best address those concerns. After he left we maintained contact by text message and a couple days later he presented me with a bill of materials, including pricing. He also gave me a price for his labor, and the sum of those two amounts was to be my total cost. The bill of materials was very detailed, right down to how many screws were needed. It allowed me to look up the manufacturer's catalog online, which told me what gauge the rails, pickets, and posts were, what the warranty was, and gave me pictures of the fencing product, so I knew exactly what I'd be getting. Travon responded quickly to more questions from me, and shortly thereafter I selected him as my contractor (he has a C13 Fencing Contractor's license). I put the materials on a credit card and we scheduled the job. A couple days later Travon and a helper delivered the materials and staged them in my back yard. A few days after that Travon showed up with a small crew, and together they worked diligently for one full day and part of the next day. I was impressed by the care he and his team took as I watched them work. They hauled away the old fence and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Before I knew it I had a new fence that is strong, level, looks great, keeps the dog in the yard, and didn't break the bank. Yes, you should get several estimates for your fencing project (if you can!). But you'll want to make sure that Travon Ford of Stylistic Fencing supplies one of them.
