I reached out to vista fence for a quote to do a fence job at our home. Not a small job in my opinion and Jamie came out to our home. Measured and we talked about everything I need for the project. I was happy that they were a local contractor. As I try to support people in our area. It was Friday and he said he would have a bid by Monday. Tuesday came around no bid. I did something I never like to do and called to ask for a bid. Jamie said he would get it to me that day. Well no bid ever came. How does this contractor stay in business with this kind of work practice If you don't want the job at least to me instead of stringing people along. I am very unimpressed with vista fencing. I was disappointed with my experience with Vista Fence. It took two weeks just to get someone out for an estimate. When they finally came, I was told I'd receive the estimate later that night or the next day. I didn't hear back for nine more days. When the estimate finally arrived, it was extremely high compared to others I received. Based on the delay and pricing, it feels like they're not actively seeking new business. Our property backs up to a Riparian Preserve, that is on a very small tributary of Buena Vista Creek. We needed a secure separation between us and the creek, from both the two legged and four legged species of visitors. Vista Fence Company has done a stellar job of providing that. From the time that we were first given a factory tour by Tyler Griffiths, to the subsequent site visit and work by our project manager Mark Hall. The fence was to be install on top of a retaining which separates our property from the Preserve, it would also feature a gate, so we may access the creek bed. The challenge was that the retaining wall was repaired and added to over time. Vista Fence had to contend the direction and elevation changes of the wall. Mark was very creative in his approach which resulted in a fence that was aesthetic enough and most importantly secure. My wife and I are planning to use Vista Fence again for work to be done on our side yards. We will recommend Vista Fence to all of our Design Clients, as well as friends and neighbors. read more

We stopped into their office and figured out what we wanted (black powder-coated aluminum) and arranged a visit to get the sizing right. My vinyl fence looks great. The installation was very fast. My irrigation system was damaged in one area but when I reported it they quickly repaired it. I worked with Jaime and we had a few issues with my gate closing and then not closing. I had to call several times and Jaime decided the gate needed to be less wide. I called Vista Fence to replace a wrought iron section on the hill behind my house. The old one was 36 years old, installed by the developer, and had broken in one place where coyotes were just walking in. I have two dachshunds that are 15 and 21 lbs, that would be gone if I didn't stay out there with them for their outside breaks. They gave us two alternatives, and we chose the aluminum. We asked for coyote rollers and a foot higher than the old one, which could have been bad considering the older section near it. Two neighbors and myself shared cost for part of our fences plus we each had some of our private fences replaced from wood to vinyl. The estimator was extremely nice and professional. However, the workers who were independent workers hired by Vista Fence were a different story. They were argumentative and their head guy head guy told me the vinyl fence wouldn't last that long and would yellow in time. I was disappointed how much vinyl sliver was left all over my yard. Most gates are easy to open except the one next to the garage. The dirt wasn't evened out so there are gaps and I was afraid my new puppy could go under to my neighbors yard.
