I love this place, but like everywhere else it can depend on who you get as a tech. The family that owns the place are all really good- so are a few of the key staff that I've seen around over the 4 or so years I've infrequently come in. The daughter (I'm so sorry- I can't remember her name!) is awesome and does great designs, but I haven't been in for a little while, so I'm not sure if she's still around. I've also gotten a few people who were new techs and it didn't go so well... twice with two different "new" people the owner stepped in and fixed me up, which I was very appreciative of, so they are on top of things. They really seem to care about your experience, and this was a great place to stop in especially later after a long day. They have a good selection of polish as well. read more

Very weird place. I wanted to treat myself on my lunch break so I googled places in my area and this one has great reviews. The girl who did my pedicure was in training and you could definitely tell, the owner(?) had to keep coming over and showing her what to do and it was night and day difference, obviously because she's training... but I paid for a deluxe service and I guess that's what I was expecting, not the new girl. During the really mediocre pedicure they played loud rap music with almost constant swearing, f-words, etc. Weird choice for a nail salon right? Also the son (?) (young man) working the front desk was super disinterested in helping me, and wore a shirt with the f-word on it. All of these things individually aren't a big deal, but by the end I just wanted to get out of there and never come back because it just wasn't at all the experience I was hoping for. Not sure where the good reviews are coming from, unless you go to the really experienced techs? Still, I'd recommend going somewhere else. read more

Was refused service for my 2, well behaved, granddaughters, ages 10 & 12. Rude, uninterested, apathetic staff. Humiliating and disappointed as all eyes in the salon watched us leave after being told they would not serve us. The most discussing experience, and facility ever. We went down the street, to their completion where we were greeted and served in a much cleaner, brighter and pleasant shop. I DI NOT RECOMMEND this suave nails. read more

It was first experience at this salon. I went in for a bit of a girl's day with my daughter and mother for pedicures. All of our experiences we're different. I felt I got the best service; Massage chair, foot massage, lotion and asked question s about my preferences. My mom, however, got a basic foot bath, nail polish removal and then painted; no real pampering. My daughter received something in the middle of those. I felt since we all booked a pedicure that there would be some consistency in our service. I felt bad that my mom didn't receive the same service I did especially when it was my treat. read more

Can't say enough good about Suave's!! They are always so polite and thorough. Winn is my favorite! She's so fun to talk to and she does my nails exactly how I want them to be done. She even takes the extra time to make sure the design is just right! I will never go anywhere else again. Very thorough pedicure for a good price $23. My problem is with the cleanliness. The whole place was filthy. Sitting in the chairs and looking in between them there was literally food and wrappers and bugs all over the floor. The ladies were sweet and very good at what they did. Clean the whole place and maybe some updated chairs without rips in them and this place could be a real gem. read more

I was excited to try this new salon my friend recommended, I got Gel x nails which were great. However after researching at home a little better of what Gel x is I read and saw videos from the gel x website, and I saw that when applying the nails they just apply gel nail polish to the nail and file with a coarse file to the extension ONLY. However they filed both MY nail and extension with a very course file and then added the gel, and the nail. I didnt notice anything until i got them removed... (keep in mind my nails are very thick) When I went to remove them, of course they were going to file my nail down to smooth it out and remove the courseness from when they applied the extension. when they filed it and applied the gel polish and cured it in the light, i knew immediately that something was wrong. The light was BURNING my nails, and i needed to pull them out. I knew that my nails were far too thin. the color was nice and everything, but upon leaving and going about my day 3 nails chipped, 1 peeled and at the end of the week all of them had lifted. PLUS my nails were left paper thin and will break with the slightest bump. I was unsatisfied that my nails were left so damaged when the reason I got Gel x is because they DONT damage your nails! But they did since they were applied wrong. read more

I walked in to the store wanting acrylic nails but many customers and workers convinced me to get the new gel x which is supposedly better. i'm not really noticing any difference but all i know is that it hurt to get on. the glue they use to get the fake nail on burned my skin when it was cured. so i recommend just getting acrylic. one complaint i have is that they didn't do anything to my nails or cuticles. they didn't cut them or anything. then when it came to filing the fake nail, some of them are coffin shaped and some are square. it looks pretty weird. then when i went to get my design painted onto my nail (french tip) 3 girls walked in without appointments wanting manicures and pedicures. of course the business didn't want to turn down that opportunity which i totally understand but they started rushing doing my nails. so the design is a bit off and uneven. overall i just feel like they could have tried a little harder. but i understand that it became very busy in the store and they were stressed out. read more

Originally was in 3 weeks ago and got a new full gel set and Winnie did amazing with length and shape I had asked for. Today the owner of the salon barely glanced at a picture of what I wanted and then started grinding off previous color and ground to this length, which is much shorter than I had asked for as I didn't want squares on my finger. She was going to fast that she ground the middle of my ring finger nail in so bad that she had to add gel to give it more length. Along with my pinky. She free hand added gel instead of using the cone to shape. Currently all of my nails are uneven in shape and length and look horrible except for one. I kept telling her which ones needed shaped but got so tired of telling her they looked bad I said I would just deal with it as I was already there for so long. At this point they needed soaked off and a new set put on but I was already there for an hour and they look horrible I didn't want her to re do them. Once finished she took me to pay which she asked $30, when I could have gotten a new set for the same price. I am so upset about the way they look I could cry and she saw it in my face and ready eyes so she didn't make me pay because I am so unhappy. My real nails under the gel are as long as she cut them. I now either have to wait for them to grow out and then get another fill elsewhere or wait til they have been on long enough to remove completely. If you go here, only allow Winnie to touch your nails. read more

The nail tech huyen, is very talented and tells you to be picky about your nails when doing them so that they can come out exactly how you want them to. The color of my nails was beautiful but the coatings were super thin! I got engaged later that week and after my nail colors were chipping and it was shellac. I got my nails done at another salon in Texas while I was home the following week. She just took a while to simply shellac my nails as she kept going to the back and talking and then coming back, I'd probably go again just to see if maybe it was that specific person but I'm sure I can find someone else in another place. read more

I went to get my nails done here and the employees were really rude. I was going to get my daughters nails done as well as mine and the lady told me that she wouldn't do my daughters nail (gel) because she was too young. Why does it matter, its my daughter and my money. So I told her okay just do regular nail polish and she said no because she was going to ruin them fast. Again, my money. So I insisted okay I will still do regular polish on her and she told no because they did not have enough time. Another thing they had a mouse running around the place, very unsanitary. read more

I have been to endless nail salons. I moved to Philadelphia and had a great salon and then had to move back and was having a hard time finding one that was as good as my old one. I have finally found one! And it's close to me. I have never found a more friendlier staff. I love coming here. My nails always look amazing and the pedicures are awesome. Apparently, they have changed locations since the TIffany went there - it was clean and bright and the chairs were lovely. The selection of nail colors was top notch - good quality polishes in a huge array of color options - it's the most extensive wall of color I've seen at any salon. The ladies were, indeed, sweet, and very good at what they do. They were attentive, communicative, and were all about making this a good experience for us. The pedicure was very thorough - they took terrific care of us, brought us water, made our feet feel and look fabulous. My other two friends also got manicures. I've only ever had a few pedicures in my life, but this one was definitely the best. The massage was very thorough and relaxing, the massage chairs were nice, and it was overall a great experience. The color selection was great, and the technicians were very kind. I researched a lot of places, and they seem to be one of the better deals in the area. I hope to return soon! read more

My sisters and I came to Suave's Nails to get our nails done for my baby sisters wedding. We each got a pedicure and manicure. They took their time even though with so many of us they had to stay past their closing time. The ladies were fun to talk to, did a great job, and we had a blast! Me and a friend had one o clock appointments, for a mani. And pedi. Each of us. It took two hours for us to get our pedis. And the blue gel light machine wasn't working. we had one tech between the two of us. And I didn't see her wash her hands once. Then when I didn't have time to get my mani and I told them. they told me I should've told them that I had a time crunch and she would have gone faster. I thought two in a half hours so plenty of time to get it all done. They offered me 20% off next time. But I won't be going back cause I don't have another 2:30 hours to waste just for a simple pedicure! All the other techs were taking walk ins when we had a appt. get your stuff together guys! read more

I was very disappointed and disgusted with my experience at this nail salon. I had made an appointment for two pedicures, but when we arrived it was clear that they were not staffed to accommodate us. It took awhile but they did finally seat us in broken massage chairs, where we waited for another 45 minutes for our pedicures to begin. I became very concerned about the cleanliness of the salon, as we sat there waiting. There were old water bottles, dirty gloves, used bags of paraffin wax, old nail equipment, dirty sponges, and trash all over the counters and floors. I then saw a worker put the hot stones he had just used on another client back in one of the random crockpots (they were strewn all over) without sanitizing them at all. At that point we decided to leave, who knows what other unsanitary equipment they would have used on us. And by this point we had been waiting over an hour from our original appointment time, the water we were soaking our feet in was cold, and it seemed like they were no where near finishing with the other clients. I am truly surprised how many positive reviews this place has considering how filthy the salon is. Save yourself from the risk of foot fungus or infection!! read more
