My wife suggested pedicures a few years back. I resisted. Finally, I acquiesced and I have been going here ever since. I'm a general contractor, and I've even taken all of my employees here a couple of times for Christmas. I highly recommend this business! The customer service has always been great! One time last Fall, I came in on a Saturday. I was the only guy in the shop (pretty normal). The gal that usually does my pedicure had me wait until a chair at the far side of the shop opened up. When it was free, she seated me and, the TV on the wall being right next to the chair, she changed the channel to the NCAA football game that was playing. All the other chairs were filled with women who were busy chatting. My technician made sure that I had something to occupy my time while I waited. Great people! And I'm ALWAYS pleased with how my feet and legs feel after, and the care I receive. read more

I've been coming here for several years for shellac pedicures. They are the best I've ever had. When I've tried other places, the high prices & sloppy jobs just don't compare. What I really like about their pedicures is their attention to detail. My heels get really crusty & they shave off the dead skin. If you get the wax, your feet will be silky smooth. Here's a tip: pay in cash, including tips. Using cards cost the merchant, which eats into your nail tech's tip. The girls work really hard & deserve a great cash tip! read more

Been my favorite nail place for over 15 years. Even after moving cities I still go here. Cindy is the sweetest and always remembers every clients name. They do the most thorough pedicure without a million upsells like other places. Their basic pedicure includes massage and scrub and lotion and callus removal, at other places it feels like those are all add ons. Employees are kind and work really hard. Went for a manicure and gel polish' and they chopped my already short nails so short that they hurt. Also my polish looks like it has grown out for 2 weeks. My nails look short a stubby! So so bad! I'll be removing this polish tonight! read more

Went in for a manicure and fill. The tech turned the tool ALLLLL the way up, using pressure, and rolled her eyes when I told her it was too hot. When she pressed down AGAIN, making me jump from the pain and heat, she rolled her eyes at me again, and I told her that I was leaving. I can't say if they're all this impatient, but I was unwilling to painfully find out. read more

They are reasonably priced. We had pedicures and gel manicures. I had gel nails done years ago somewhere else so was leery about doing them again, the previous place peeled before a week was up. Because they were busy the girl who did my eyebrows was rushing and wasn't posing attention to what she was doing. She took half my eyebrow off and made them both hella thin. She then told me that was how my brows looked before when I complained. Don't recommend coming here at all!!! They still charged me too for a horrible job. I've been coming here for almost 10 years! BUT lately these are the rudest humans on earth. Beware: Their color samples do NOT match their polish. That's not the end of the world, until you get a hideous color and they lose their temper on you for asking to change colors. Last time I was here I also thought the color was off, so I mentioned it and was treated poorly for it, so I just shut up and kept the off-color. This time the color was so incredibly off I asked to see the samples again to compare the two. I asked this (while she was painting my first nail), and she completely freaked out. She yelled at me and slapped me with her file. I was shocked! From zero to crazy for something so small! She yelled across the room to another woman who had to come help me because she was too angry to speak. When I got the samples and pointed out the color didn't even come close to matching what was put on my one nail, she told me in a few days the color would change to the right shade. I've never heard of that, or seen it happen, so I asked to just choose a different color, and got yelled at again. I almost walked out they were SO INCREDIBLY RUDE. I just didn't know what to do it was so uncomfortable and foreign to me. Absolutely DO NOT give this place your business. They'll treat you like crap, and you'll leave feeling like you want to cry. read more

A friend recommended Royal Nails because she's been going here for awhile. Her pedis are always SO cute! Their polish selection is really good, and they're quick. The pedi includes a paraffin wax, leg and foot massage, and hot stones (if you choose plain polish - you can also opt for a design free of charge). I got a teal pedi with glitter overlay on the big toes starting at the nail bed, and it was all included in the base price. The hot stones were lovely! Unfortunately, my particular aesthetician didn't spend any time on my rough skin and left almost all of it. For the price, you get a pretty great "package," but the quality didn't match up for me. read more

I came in today for a pedicure with my 2 best friends, we didn't have an appointment today so we just walked in. To our surprise, we were seated right away by a sweet older woman. The pedicures were surprisingly very relaxing and they had massage chairs, which was amazing! My only complaint would be, we couldn't understand/ hear all of the women we talked to. They were very quiet and didn't communicate with us nearly at all. Overall it was a great experience and the prices were pretty dang good too! If you have real nails, DO NOT GO HERE! They don't seem to understand real nails and will sand them down to nothing. I got my nails done last week with shellac/gel. Not only did he sand the old color off (with a tool that looks like a dremel), the guy kept sanding! I had to pull my hand away repeatedly and ask him to stop before he finally understood enough. He then proceeded to file my nails into claws, narrowing too much, but with a blunt end. Even with the layers of shellac on them, my nails now feel thin and they hurt. Today, another nail broke. That makes four. All down to the skin because they're too thin. I will say their pedicures are fine; never had a problem. And the artwork I got on my ring finger is really pretty (although it's a five petal flower and I kept asking for something *besides* the same ol' flower; at least this one has more than one color). read more

Went in on my lunch break and I was seated right away! The girl that did my nails was super nice and added a cute heart for Valentine's Day on my ring finger nail for no extra charge. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of work and the amazing prices! I got a manicure, shellac, and a cute heart on my nail for $25! Had an appointment set for 3 weeks. I show up to have Cindy tell me that Dee Dee is sick. I said I'd wait until it was convenient for someone else to help me, and she replies that she's too busy AND there's no one else available. How can you not even CALL YOUR CUSTOMER TO RESCHEDULE?!... And why do I even care when I had an experience similar to others where they soak you in acetone and grind you down so hard that you hurt terribly for 3 days afterwards. They ignore the fact that they cut you, instead of making any kind of apologetic comment. They change your powder sns dip to acrylic just because they say it's easier for THEM! Well I'm a big tipper and person who tries to find something positive to say... but I'll take this terrible treatment NO MORE! read more

BEWARE!!! They overcharge you! I took my girls for a night out of pampering. It was disappointing to say the least. I paid $140.00 for 2 pedicures, a full regular set and a regular fill. I tried to dispute the charge, but the technician had a hard time communicating with me. I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not. I was also frustrated by the way they talked terrible about surrounding salons. I've been a customer of L.A. nails for years. They trash talked them and others. I thought that was tacky. They were booked so I decided to give royal a try. I had just had a fill 6 days ago. I needed a fix on a chipped mail. The tech pushed and pushed me that I needed an entire fill. It was very uncomfortable. So the price of a chipped nail was a fill, that apparently cost me about $45.00!! I am a reasonable person, but this,was ridiculous!! read more

I have never left a review before but this place is NOT a good place to go. There are so many better places. I went yesterday and had to wait 30 minutes. that's not bad, but for the services I received I am thoroughly disappointed. Under my nails are so thick from the acrylic that it hurts. I got gel on my toes and it is ruined already, its been less than 24 hours. The paraffin wax they put your feet in is unsanitary. I was taught in aesthetic school not to put people feet/hands into the huge wax bin because it holds bacteria, and that is definitely against codes. Instead of sanitising the foot bath she just used her hand to get the nasty things off and put it back in the bath as it was filling up! DISGUSTING. read more

I broke a nail at work needed to get it fixed. My regular nail salon was busy so I stopped by here. I asked for the price on fixing my nail and nail polish change, they couldn't tell me, they said that they had to wait and see. I sit down to get my nail fixed they tell me it's going to be $25 to get my nail fixed and a simple two-tone nail polish design. I thought that was a little much so I just opted to get my nail fixed. They sent me down on the chair stuck my finger in a dirty jar with dirty sponge full of acetone, and left me there for 10 minutes while they went to go work on someone else. When they finally came back to me she could barely answer my questions because she kept looking around to see what somebody else needed. She put the tip on my nail and went to cut it down (stelleto style) and she nearly clipped the side of my finger because she couldn't pay attention to what she was doing!!! She barely apologized, put the acrylic on my nail and left me again. Another person came and sat by me and the lady that supposed be working on my nail would rather wait for the other girl to make up her mind up about what shellac she wants. I understand that she was going to make more money doing the other girls nails, but I just had a simple fix, she could have gave me the respect as a customer that I deserved and had me on my way. I would've been a happy person and maybe would've come back to the salon another time. This place is really, price is the same as better salons which is weird because they were really busy. I took my daughter in for a gel mani for her 11th birthday & decided to get a full set for myself since my regular nail lady moved & I haven't found another one yet. I brought my oldest daughter in with as well & even after I told 3 separate people, no she isn't getting anything done & them asking me many more times if they could give her acrylics because her nails were "too short" one of the ladies grabbed her & did a gel mani on her literally behind my back while I was helping my 11 year old pick out her color & had already been started with tips on my nails. My oldest didn't know how to handle it because she's a child & has social anxiety pretty badly. So I ended up needing to pay for her mani which I hadn't planned for & asked them not to do. Thankfully my birthday girl got good service & was happy with her own manicure. Now let me tell you about my own experience there yesterday. I showed a picture of the look I wanted, picked out two colors, & agreed that the price was higher than the regular because I chose the coffin shape & 2 separate colors. The tips were on & she started cutting them to make the shape I wanted but she never once through the entire process, even tried to unstick the skin on my fingers that were glued to the underside of the nails which caused her to cut my skin with the clippers while shaping the tips. Once the tips were glued & cut she started filing the edges to refine the shape & cut me several times with the edge of the file, which was a used file from who knows how many previous customers. After she roughed up the top of the nails to prepare for the acrylic she used the dehydrator & my fingers were on FIRE! It hurt so much every place that was already cut up from her. She put the acrylic on & at that point I was just trying to get it over with so I could leave & cry without a bunch of strangers watching on. The final filing process was sooo painful, she still never pulled my skin away from the nails they were glued to & cut every single finger with the dirty, used file & when I involuntarily jerked from it she laughed at me & told me I was acting like a baby & that I looked like a big baby, right there in front of my girls & everyone else who was in there. She even got upset with me when my hands & arms didn't move the way she wanted them to & tried to forcefully make them do what she wanted with zero regard of how much pain I was in. The gel polish was not the color I told her I wanted & I did get burned on a few fingers when the gel was curing because she painted my skin. She was very rude through the whole process & made me feel like I am a bad customer & didn't have the right to feel the way I did. I wanted out & fast! I head up to pay, bleeding, burned, & ashamed of myself for "acting like a big baby" & I'm told the amount was nearly $100 because again, I chose two colors & it didn't matter that the price was the same for 2 nails as the 8 in the second color, whatever I want to go. I hand her my card & she starts pointing to the note on the counter that says they want tips in cash. So I dig through my wallet looking for any cash, I have very little & I gave her all I had besides the money that was my daughter's birthday money, not mine. She gave me my card back & then started telling me that I needed to give her more cash money for the tip & then stuck her fingers in my wallet, while it was in my hands, trying to take my daughter's cash! She then turned around & loudly told everyone that I didn't tip her enough. I will NEVER go back to that place. I didn't post a review right away & decided to wait & sleep on it because I didn't know if I was just overreacting & don't want to do anything hasty out of anger or hurt. I realised after speaking to a few family members & friends who are familiar with the way acrylics are supposed to work & who went to school to get their licenses to do them, that I needed to post my story so others wouldn't have to go through what I did. I paid money for a service I told them not to do, forcefully manhandled in painful ways, I was laughed at & mocked for feeling pain caused by her, I was bleeding on every single finger with a used nail file, burned by gel curing on my skin, & made to feel inferior & like a bad person when I refused to give her my 11year olds birthday money, & humiliated in front of a room full of strangers! I spent too much money for this particular torture chair. When did it become alright to bully the person who is paying you for a service? read more

Great service at a good price. The pedicures are so inclusive. You aren't charged for every little treatment. Hot stones, paraffin wax, and massage are all included. My gel nails always look great and the workers are skilled and quick. They don't expect you to chat with them so you can just relax and enjoy yourself. Treated like a second class citizen, my daughter and I went for her birthday, I walked in and said we both would like a manicure and pedicure, well with the pedicure they made us share a sit (there was only one other customer there) which was highly uncomfortable. They rushed through it and did not take the time to get all the dead skin off my feet and did nothing but soak my daughter's feet and paint them. Then they said nothing to me about a manicure so we went and sat at the station and waited for a long time. well they took my daughter's sit away for another customer (there where many seats open I don't know why they put her in my daughter's seat she was sitting at) the other lady was almost done before they got to us. I told my daughter to take my seat and I stood and waited for them to just paint her nails when I asked for a full manicure (they did not even suggest us to move for us to be together or ask the other lady to move) then I got my nails done and my daughter had to sit else were to wait for me. I paid there full prices and even left a $20 tip but I will never return nor do I recommend anyone going. It ruined my daughter birthday and it's the next day and both our feet and nail polish have half fallen off and they look sloppy. As I stood there and watched how there company was ran it reminded me of a meat pack farm, shuffle people in and quickly get them out! They need to take off there sign that says 'day spa' it's more of assembly line than spa, a spa your supposed to relax feel pampered and that's what we did not fell. I gave a good tip in hopes that that lady puts it to a better future because that place was horrible, a beauty school would have felt and done better then that, and as for the good reviews I'm guessing they don't know better or have actually gone to a decent place before. read more
