AutoZone Auto Parts - Debbie removing all the stickers off my new battery instead of giving me my 3 year warranty

AUTOZONE installed the battery so if it wasn't registered to my truck, the installer didn't do his job and nothing was required by me the last 9 years of buying batteries there so why void my warranty plus she removed every label off my new battery including the warnings labels. She said if I wanted a warranty, I could buy the battery that was under warranty? Real professionalism! I was in there 4/24/26 to have the battery (same one they installed) checked and was told it, starter and alternator were all good. 2 Weeks later truck had to be towed because it wouldn't start. BAD BATTERY! I had Gary Yeoman diagnose my truck thinking the battery was good like I was previously told by Autozone and they removed it for me to take it back to Autozone since it was still under warranty. The only other place to touch that battery other than AutoZone the last 3 years. I been a customer for 30 years but after her behavior I will be going up the road to O'Reilly's. Bullying disabled 66-year-old female seniors is her specialty. Nothing professional about her both times I've encountered her. Beware they can cancel your warranty, "just because". I'm contacting BBB next because this is nothing more than greed! I have a new battery but no 3-year warranty because she has a bad attitude and so do I now! Guess she judged me as a liar since she didn't want to hear anything I was trying to tell her. Maybe tearing my labels off was making too much noise for her to hear me. I ask for a copy of the sheet with the labels to which she replied, that's my copy but it was actually her original since I ask for a copy. Nothing but nasty remarks when trying to find out why she was tearing off all my new battery labels. I'm also out of wrecker money but it's not their money so they don't care.

**Attention** GO SEE…read moreCHRISTIAN WILSON!!!!! TRUST ME. So I've only done a review where it was after receiving some kind of service or making a purchase. But I just have to give a big shoutout to Christian at Daytona Mercedes. Even though I ultimately did not end up making the drive down to purchase the vehicle we made a deal on, Christian absolutely went above and beyond throughout the entire process. He was professional, patient, transparent as glass, and genuinely worked hard to try to put together a deal that made sense for me and my family. If it makes money it makes sense. What stood out the most was that he never made it feel like a typical pushy dealership experience. He communicated clearly, respected my time (especially since most of the communication was via text), worked through the numbers with me, followed up, and actually made me feel like he cared about earning my business the right way. The deal simply didn't work out in the end because of my family's timing and circumstances, but that had nothing to do with Christian's effort. He did everything he could on his end and handled the whole situation with class. If you're looking at a vehicle at Daytona Mercedes, I would absolutely recommend asking for Christian Wilson. Even without completing the purchase, he earned my respect and my recommendation. That says a lot. Huge thanks again Christian for working with me, You were stellar bro.

So short sighted. I found a small scratch in an inconspicuous spot on my new MB bought here. It was…read moredefinitely not something I did and it was hard to see so it was likely missed during delivery. I had my salesman look to see if he could see it from several vantage points and he couldn't until I pointed it out to him. And it couldn't have been caused by the wiper arms. Not a big deal and I had other priorities, so I didn't head to the dealer until a couple months after I found this. I just needed a touch up pen and I'd do it. The salesman said we can get you that, it's $30. I asked if he could comp this or give it to me at their cost since I just spent $86K with them. Wasn't the money I was concerned with but was hoping for a goodwill gesture for a new car purchase. Seems like an inexpensive goodwill gesture. Salesman said he couldn't do anything because he couldn't confirm if I did it or it was done by MB, he went to the parts manager, came out and said he couldn't do anything either, even a discount at their cost. I passed. The dealership will never get another penny from me nor see me unless it is new car warranty work. I will buy another MB likely and if it is here it won't be with the salesman who wouldn't help. There are expert MB exclusive mechanics not far from the dealer and will use them for all non-warranty work and MB parts can be bought online and shipped within two days cheaper than buying them here. Over the life of this car, I expect I would have spent well over $30. Their loss and the math isn't in their favor. It wasn't the money but the lack of customer consideration or goodwill.
