The guy I had an experience with, was extremely weird and awkward. I came to the store, telling him I wanted to get some dry herb or flower for my Vape. It took like 10 minutes for me to explain and get what I wanted and he kept trying to get me to buy oil (not in a sales way but in a clearly confused way because he didn't know dry herb vapes exist.) read more

I've had all good experiences here. I've been frequenting this establishment for several years. The customer service is definitley a 10 and spot on. I'm sorry to report that someone in our community abused the veterans discount which, to me, is the same as stealing. It also had an impact on my discount for a few days and I don't blame the owner or manager for tightening up on things. Enough on that and shame on whoever abused the discount. The employees make an authentic connection with you but what really impresses me is that they treat me the same if I spend 3 bucks or 100. You're sure to have a fun experience and I'd be very surprised if you leave without a smile on your face. All staff are very knowledgeable. I'm fairly specific about what I need and thanks to great customer service and active listening, on the part of the employees, the recommendations are always spot on. The prices are more than fair and my favorite is their wide variety of pre rolls. They've a fantastic selection of just about everything else, too. I love this place; very clean, modern vibe with lots of bright lighting. They have the best prices in town! They carry a huge variety of all the local brands. I love Wyld because they use all the PNW flavors, and they carry Squibs, which are not very tasty but pack a punch and are a great value. They always have the latest new thing; last time I was in, it was transdermal patches! Everything is clearly labeled with prices and THC/CBD info, and they have samples of all the flower to examine and smell. I think the budtenders here are compassionate and not at all pretentious. They've also tried everything in the store so they can give you an honest opinion of how it affects them rather than spewing some garbage about what it's *supposed* to do. They are helpful but not sales-y and they never rush you. It's such a pleasant place to shop. read more

This location of Substance always seems to have the best selections for the products I normally use: flower and vape cartridges.

I really want to give Substance the benefit of the doubt since I've never had a problem with them before; But I purchased a cartridge for ~$30, so average price, definitely not terrible. Over the past few days, the oil started leaking into the tip as well as through to the threads so now my base is impossibly sticky and ruined and I am unable to use an entire third of my cart. It's definitely a malfunctioning product, and after hearing from friends about their issues with Substance in the past, it's unlikely they'd offer anything in return for the wasted cash. read more

I get you have the right to refuse service, but I have never been asked to leave a business. They dont take cash and you cant see the product before you buy. Came in to make a purchase, gave feedback that I didnt like that they didnt take cash or that you could see the product and got major attitude. Like snotty 14 year old girl attitude. Not necessary. I work customer service and trust me if I responed like that to minor criticism, I would not have a job. Feedback, good or bad, should not be responded to with a I don't care attitude. Come here all the time spent a lot of money in the past and disappointed to say I will never be going back because Kenya, a supervisor told me to leave because I only had my military ID. Her attitude was so horrible and mean, she told us it was against the law and need and state ID. That is 100% wrong, you can look it up for yourself and also i have used my military ID in the past. It's so unfortunate she decided to treat my family and I this way ruined a good night for everyone and just embarrassed herself. read more
