Propane prices right now range from about $2.80 to $3.20 across the entire US (which I've just driven - filling up along the way), so my tank always costs $20-$23 to fill from empty. The owner walked out to the propane shed, hooked the filler up to my tank, opened the valve, and started filling. (He didn't open the bleed valve on my tank at all - which would show when my tank was getting full.) He kept the doors to the filling station almost closed, and kept his body between me and any view of the meter. I moved aside to try to see the meter, and he moved again to block me. After a couple minutes, he shut off the pump, unhooked the fill hose, and closed the doors - being apparently extra careful to not let me see how much was dispensed. "That's thirty bucks even," he said. "We only take cash." and held out his hand. I handed him $30 cash, which he put into his pocket. No cash registers, no receipt, (and therefore probably no taxes paid.) When I got back home, I confirmed that my tank was about 2/3 full, so I paid $30 cash for about $15 worth of propane. Shaaaady.

(My alternator) He fixed it fast and only charged for the time it took him to do it. The usual hourly estimate for this job is three hours. But he said he could probably could get it done in two. And he did.. And only charged me for that. They were honest, upfront and professional. If I would have went to them in the first place, I would have saved myself so much hassle. They came to my house, and even gave me a ride to the library and dropped me off at the pool since they had to leave and go get a part for my car anyhow. So I relaxed pool side, and by the time I got home. My car was fixed.... A++++ for these guys. I would recommend them to anyone.

I've never paid more than $2.00 for a dryer but here $3.00 would only get you 24 minutes. Lady running the place was friendly and helpful, place was clean and obviously brand new everything.

The ladies who work here promise to have your laundry done by 4 pm if you drop it off in the am, and they deliver on that. They used to charge $10 a bag, which was a bargain, but that didn't last forever. It went up to $12 a bag and is now by weight only. They charge $1.50 a lb with an 8lb minimum, with each bag weighed separately. Six bags of laundry (a whole month's worth) cost me just over $100, which was $30 more than on the older cost scheme. But it is still more affordable than the other drop-and-fold (the one near the strip club). If you wan to wash your own clothes they have machines there that you can use and you can request a code to enter the laundry after hours if you register as a regular local customer. No matter what, you have to pay in cash and give your phone number when you drop off your clothes. They text you updates as each bag is finished.

We will definitely go back before we leave key west.
