5 stars - Highly Recommend Suburban Wildlife Control! We've worked with Bob Noviello at Suburban Wildlife Control twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. Back in 2017, we started hearing scratching noises in our attic. We thought it was mice, but Bob quickly figured out it was actually bats. He explained everything clearly and installed one-way bat tubes to safely get them out. He also let us know that our neighborhood's roof design made this a pretty common issue. Fast forward to 2025--we had our roof replaced, and the roofers unknowingly removed those bat tubes. Sure enough, we started hearing that awful scratching again. We called Bob, and just like before, he responded quickly, came out promptly, and handled everything professionally. He immediately knew what was going on and took care of it. A couple of things to note: If you're replacing your roof, ensure your contractor is aware not to remove any existing pest control measures without first consulting with you. If you have bats or other nuisance "visitors" (or think you might), call Bob. Homeowners, beware of this company! I reached out to Bob originally due to a bat problem. He told me he would come out and assess the issue. When he arrived, I was not home at the time, but my wife was. He inspected the attic and convinced my wife that it was indeed bat droppings in my attic and that he could get rid of our problem. He managed to convince my wife to give him a very large deposit in cash and then told her he would put it in his schedule. When I arrived home, I was a bit irritated as I wanted an opinion from more than one company and would have never just hired him on the spot, but unfortunately, my wife had already paid him a deposit in cash. I read his proposal of what he planned to do, and it seemed like a lot of money to do what he was doing, but when I reached out and told him most of the returns had already been sealed up with foam, he began to tell me, "No bat professional uses yellow foam; they all use black," which may be true, but there were no penetrations in the current foam, so why would it need to be redone? He then told me he wasn't even going to redo it and would just apply black over it. So now it would be visible to everyone who drives up to the house. I then told him I'm going to do more research, as I had planned originally. After talking to many other reputable companies, they said they don't use foam; they close up the areas with fascia metal or screen because foam will not stop unwanted critters from entering the house. Unfortunately, at this point, because we live in MA, they are a protected species, and no other companies were willing to do the work until the state would allow it. At this point, I had reached back out to Bob and asked him if it was true that we would have to wait months to have the work done because it could be a maternal issue and the state wouldn't allow it. He then told me that in his inspection, he was able to determine it wasn't a maternal issue. How could he of known this?? He then said he would get it done the following week. The following week he arrived with one guy and sealed up about 7 spots with sealant and black foam, no hardware cloth used at all. He also put in 2 one ways for the bat to get out but no reenter and told me he had a 2 year warranty. We'll about 3 months later I was in my attic and literally had a bat fly at me. I immediately reached out to BOb and told him this. He instructed me to keep watch at night, so I did for about a week with no activity so I reached back out to him and asked that he come back and see if anything was missed. He agreed. Fast forward about 3 months later no return and still bat problem with more droppings everywhere in my attic. I decided to get on my roof. Immediately within 3 minutes found 3 different spots they were entering. I then reached out and told him this and sent pictures. He called me and instead of agreeing he made a mistake and hasn't done anything to honor his supposed warranty he starts getting loud with me saying. " I WILL COME BACK AND TAKE CARE OF THIS SPOT AND THAT SPOT AND THEN IM DONE"!!! I said " im not quite sure why you are yelling at me right now and so upset but shouldn't I be the one upset that we have spent all this money with no results, no return visits to address the still existing problem and the only reason we are even talking is because I keep reaching out to you"? This guy prays on women, prays on people in these types of situations then when he gets call backs he yells at his customers and acts like your an inconvenience to him. Very disappointed in the way he conducts business but also has no regards for state laws that prohibit him from doing his work when he is not supposed to. Stay far away from this company and hire a real professional that isnt just out to get over on someone!!!! Ill be contacting the state of NH, state of MA and anyone else i have to so no one ever deals with this again from this company. Absolutely disgusting individual that will be held accountable for the way he treats people that have trusted in him to take care of a very concerning matter. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are a scam.... i wish i had read the other reviews more closely and I bet the good reviews he does have are not legitimate. We paid a deposit for assistance with a bird problem. Bob came over to do his "inspection" in the pouring rain. He was very forceful about having to come this day. He had nothing with him, he didn't even get up near our roof where the birds are to see the issue. It felt off from the beginning, however, we were told this was needed ASAP or else the birds would continue to come back and have multiple nests over and over. He required a deposit right then and there which should have been a red flag but since it was so "urgent", we ignored the red flag to get it taken care of. The problem sorted itself out and the service is no longer need. Bob is now telling us that we cannot get our $900 deposit back because he has an "inspection fee" (which he inspected nothing), a "finders fee" (which is us paying for his marketing on google), and he purchased materials. I asked for a list of the materials he purchased and a breakdown of the costs he's incurred and he told me "he could not provide that", yet this is his company and he's been doing this for 60 years. I am unsure how that is even possible or how he didn't have materials on hand. I tried to have a professional conversation with him and the first phone call he hung up. I tried again stating his services could be needed next year if these birds come back, like he said, but that there is no work to be done this year. There is certainly NOT $900 worth of anything, yet he refuses to refund me, even partially. He also stated we signed a "contract" which he would not provide a copy of when i requested a copy. He's rude, unprofessional and scary. He starts yelling immediately. Please do not use this company for anything. read more

Bob the 'Bat Guy' helped remove the bats (and there were a number of them!) that had taken up residence in our attic. He was quick to respond to our inquiry, perform an inspection, and schedule the service. He and his team were very professional and knowledgeable. I called Suburban Wildlife Control because I was hearing things from my attic. Loud things. There was a lot of banging around, and twice I also heard growling and snorting. Upon inspection, Alex assured me that I couldn't possibly have raccoons inside the attic, but I could have squirrels and mice. So I signed the contract for him to come back the following day to set traps for squirrels and mice. Bob and Alex showed up on day two, but because I had to work, my mother-in-law was at my house waiting. They put up mesh screening on the outside of the vents to my attic (which had mesh intact on the inside already) then set mouse traps up in the attic. They advised my mother-in-law that no squirrel could get into the attic, so no remediation would be required for squirrels. They set up mouse traps in the attic which "the man of the house" would have to check himself. Bob and Alex spent 45 minutes at my home, didn't fulfill what we agreed to, and seemed to be most concerned with being paid. And it wasn't cheap, I assure you. To date, we're still hearing the noises but not one mouse has been caught. And I am confident that's because it's not mice we have a problem with. I wrote an email to Bob and expressed my dissatisfaction (especially since he charged me for squirrel services he didn't provide) and he asked me to call him so he could help. To be honest, I have no intention of having this company back. I took time off from work, spent a lot of money, and in the end, there was no resolution. I'm sure somewhere there is an honest, reputable company who can help with your animal issue. In my opinion, Suburban Wildlife Control isn't that company. read more

I would not recommend. We found Bob to be dishonest and lacked clear communication. Our bat remediation required removal of one way doors after a period of time. Either the doors failed or he came onto our property to remove them from our high roof without a call or email. When later issues arose with the work he did provide, he more or less refused to address or even assess the poor work without charging hundreds more. Shame on me for not doing more thorough research and paying attention to other reviews. There are other nearby companies that provide similar services and we have found them to be much more trust worthy. read more

Our family was hearing noises in the walls and ceilings of our home and we eventually had a bat inside one of the rooms of our house. I called a few companies and got two estimates for bat removal. Bob responded in a timely manner and was more affordable than the other company even though the quotes included the same provisions. We had a pest control abatement issue and Bob could have tried to sell us on a $2,000 plus work order but didn't. Why? Because our house is 100 years old and he knew he could not guarantee effectiveness. On first glance he pointed out problems areas that we will have to address with a contractor and bid us good day. I contacted Bob after my daughter woke up to find a bat flying around her bedroom. Bob's name was given to me by someone who had also used him for a bat problem and he came highly recommended I was completely freaked out about having had a bat in the house and Bob got back to me immediately and came out to assess what was going on and made recommendations on how to remedy the problem. His price was more than fair especially for the amount of detail he and Alex put into the work that was done. They checked everything around the house and spent a lot of time making sure things were sealed up properly. Bob checked out things both inside and outside. This company provides pest control services. I had a mice infestation issue, and he assured he could seal the house up so that mice will no longer get into the residence, and to set up traps to capture any trapped animals. He gave a one year warranty guarantee. I have contacted him numerous times that i am still trapping mice in the snap traps, leaving messages on his phone and website. He will not contact me to rectify the situation. it's been 7 months now! Avoid this proprietor at all costs, unless you are ready to bring him to small claims court! read more

We are the residents of a large condominiumized house who used Bob and his associates of Suburban Wildlife to rid us of a squirrel in the wall problem that cropped up after a new roof was put on. They climbed up our very tall 3 story roof and discovered a likely portal of entry where a dormer abutted the roof. Traps were set to kill the offending squirrel and a one way door allowing exit and not re-entry covered the hole. They then returned a couple of weeks later to remove the traps and one-way door and to plug the hole. We were a little concerned about the dead squirrel being on the roof but no problem. We have now been about 4 weeks with no evidence of any new critters in the wall. I'm happy to recommend Bob Noviello and associates of Suburban Wildlife for your pest problems. read more

Bat control services performed on our home 9/17/13. Two men spent almost 4 hrs. using hydraulic lift to access roof/chimneys from 9 am - 12:45 pm or so. After work was completed, we were walked around our home and given a step by step review of what was done at each evidenced roof/chimney point of possible bat entry. As of today, 9/28/13, there is no new evidence of guana (bat poop) in attic. Two year guarantee on work. They, also, proofed for flying squirrels/mice to insure that these newly placed seals were not eaten through by these other critters giving bats renewed access points. While this additional service was not in the contract, it does help further secure less possibility of call back within two year period requiring large equipment transfer to and from our home. I broke my own rules, though. I did not confer with any references nor did I acquire any other estimates prior to signing contract with Suburban. Also, I did not make sure that anything discussed verbally at initial 9/12/13 inspection was included in writing in contract. Shame on me. read more

My husband and I contacted Alex and Bob at Suburban Wildlife Control when we woke up in the middle of the night with a bat in our bedroom. Alex came out on that afternoon to give us a quote for sealing off the attic area. Being 7.5 months pregnant, they were able to get the work done on the following day. This was amazing and we were extremely appreciative. The pricing for the work was great for the service we received. Worst experience I have ever had working with a contractor. Bob is a bully who talks and acts very unprofessional. Our experience has been so bad he promised to return our $200.00 deposit and contract. Three weeks later we have recieved neither. Not only has he not returned the money but he has done nothing stated in the contract. Unfortunately for us this has been a costly mistake don't you get bullied into a contract with this terrible company. read more

I spoke to Bob after realizing we had a mother raccoon and babies in our chimney. He came out the very next day and discussed options with me. He was very professional and knowledgable. We agreed that he would spray male raccoon scent around the area so the mother would leave with the babies (I wanted to at least attempt to avoid harming them). That very night, the raccoons moved out! I am very happy with the service we received. read more
