Bad. Really bad. I was just talking with someone else that lives in Berthoud about how bad the subway has gotten. So I figured I would leave this review in hopes that whoever the owner is cares enough to turn things around. This little town doesn't have many food options. So having a sandwich place close by would be a great thing. If only it was a good option. Major problems being cross-contamination a couple times now I have seen the worker/sandwich maker wearing gloves, yet handling money with those same gloves amongst other things. And in the past, after eating in this establishment, I have gotten sick. The last time I went, I didn't put any vegetables, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles really anything on my sandwich because there was none that was fresh. It literally look like the remnants of the day before. And the two people working there looked super sketchy. Please do a lot better. read more

Watch out for them over charging you for your sandwich. It has happened 3 times now where I get a 6" and they try to charge you $15 for a footlong and see if you catch their mistake. And they lettuce looks like it's 5 days old read more

I've doordashed from here 3 times and every time they get my order wrong. Seems the way they handle the food is so careless and don't even care if they got the order right. I think they're lazy, I didn't receive half of the things I paid for, they suck every time. read more

If you just need something fast, arguably the best option in Berthoud. The guy who made our sandwiches was quite the character. I do really like the newish sandwiches with more meat - a 6-inch is about right. I've had several different varieties and they've all been good. read more

I am only selecting a one because there is not a zero ordered for sandwiches online paid with my credit card. The app then told me they were preparing my sandwiches so I waited a few minutes and went to pick them up. Once I got to the store which was about a three minute drive, I asked the employee for my pick up order. He said we have no orders. I said I'm looking at my app. It says you're preparing them now. He says we have no orders in the system. I said we just ordered and my credit card had the amount $33.89 as processed on the order I asked him where my order was. He said you don't understand. We have these glitches sometimes and they're just is no order here. To get the order on my phone came back and by the time I walked in the store, it said the order was canceled I said now I have notification that my order was canceled. He said I don't know what you're talking about. Finally, another person came from the back and asked what was going on and I said I'm looking for my online order and he said oh I just canceled it because this guy told me you didn't want it anymore. Now I'm furious. I said I was just in here a minute ago I went to get my phone and it said the order was canceled. He goes well. I canceled it because he told me you didn't want anymore. Well after a few choice words back-and-forth, they did make my sandwiches. I would never recommend ordering online. They keep telling us they have problems with their online ordering system, which doesn't make sense because as I was standing there an order came through for one sandwich, and he prepared it and threw it in the hold for walk-ins. Obviously they don't wanna make sandwiches unless there's only one. I would suggest whoever the manager is discuss this with these people you need new people that know what they're doing to run the store. This is ridiculous. Everybody orders online anymore. The third time we've had a problem with an order and I probably will not revisit this store again. To be perfectly honest, they look like they were stoned. They probably didn't wanna work anymore because they were out back smoking pot now I can't verify that, but they obviously looked disheveled when I came back and demanded my sandwiches that I was charged for. I love this subway. It is so clean and their bread is fresh and fluffy. Subway isn't my fave but when it is super clean and fresh is makes all the difference. This location rocks and I go here for lunch all the time! read more

As far as Subways go, this one is pretty bad. They are always out of something. Tonight they are out of bread. That's right. A sandwich shop. Out of BREAD. Only wraps left. It's 530 on a Monday......... The workers are friendly, but it seems very poorly managed. Too bad there is not much for fast food in this town. read more

The new management has helped tremendously! I was in today and I had miss Jure helping me. I am VERY glad she is back! She is quick, efficient, friendly, and knows what she is doing. I never see her just standing around like the others. I was in and out in 5 minutes from order to pay and my sandwich wasn't a sloppy disaster like usual. It is very clean and organized. You can definitely tell they are going through a training process with the other employees though. Very slow making the sandwiches and my meat keeps getting put on the bottom of my bread. Also toasting my sandwiches without the tray thing burns the bottom of them. Gross nobody likes burnt bread. This store is doing a LOT better than it was. Just need to get on the training a little better. It has its issues but much better than other stores in the area. Would recommend. read more

We went there last night. The workers disappeared after the group in front of us. When they came back, they couldn't get our order right. We had to keep repeating what we wanted. The iced tea was out and we were told that once it's out it's out. The manager wasn't helpful at all when talking to him. He said that the music was probably playing that's why they couldn't hear us. I replied that there was no music playing. He said to go ahead and do the survey to complain. We won't be back. read more

Berthoud is short on places to grab a quick bite to eat... It's either Subway or A&W. This Subway without a doubt is the slowest location I have ever been do. Came in on a Monday night at about 6:30 needing a quick meal before a meeting at 7. 3 employees working and 2 people in front if us. It took 20 minutes for them to help the 2 people and then finally us. It took another 10 minutes for them to make our sandwiches and we were on foot so then we ended up being late. Clearly more training is needed so your multiple employees can stay organized during the lunch and dinner hours. read more

This Subway has to be the worst!! Went in to get a few sandwiches for dinner on a Thursday evening. The sign on the door said they were open until 9pm, but when we walked thru the door we were unpleasantly greeted from a boy behind the counter telling us that they closed at seven. Looking at their clock on the wall it was 3:45 (change the batteries in your clock), my husband checked his watch and said it not even seven, it's a few minutes before seven. The kids went on to ask us if we were going to order "a lot of sandwiches?" At that point we had had enough...if your company doesn't want to sell sandwiches up until the closing, put that on your front door! "we close at seven, but we begin mopping the floor and don't make sandwiches after 6:50", that way the consume knows to not even enter you establishment! I would give no stars, but had to give one just to post!!!!!! read more

Despite the greasy looking employees that are obviously high school students, I enjoy this subway's quality/ cleanliness better than any of the ones in Loveland or Longmont. Keep up the good work read more

Went in for a sandwich with my co-worker. Only visible employee doesn't acknowledge us and continues to play with the chips for a good minute or so. Finally asks what i want and by the time he cuts the bread has forgotten what kind of sandwich i want. No biggy. Asks if id like it toasted THREE times. Now hes finally on to starting my coworkers sandwich. He gets the bread out by the time the toaster is done so my sandwich sits on the table for at least 2 minutes while he fumbles chicken. At this point an older gentleman walks into the store and the manager comes up immediately welcomes him and starts his sandwich. All this is fine and wouldnt have warranted a review. Except when this kid FINALLY starts topping my sandwich, the manager literally put herself where he was and grabs toppings for the older gentleman before he can grab my toppings. Older guy is paid and out the door and hes still counting out tomatoes one by one. Manager walks back to the back. Completely unbelievable you guys have no idea how to service people in an organized manner. 15 minutes to get 2 sandwiches when we were the only ones in the store. Wow. Worst subway in No Co, will never visit again. read more
