From the moment we entered this family-owned establishment, we were given friendly, enjoyable service. We appreciated that the owners allowed their children/grandchildren to help in serving us, and young Madison was especially sweet and fun as she jotted down our orders and bustled in helping to grab our food. Further, though the music was a bit loud, we enjoyed great oldies as well as good, Cajun tunes. As for our meals, I ordered the double-cheeseburger and my folks ordered crab burgers, and we felt the food came in good time. My burger was quite delicious, with juicy, thick patties, crisp bacon, fresh veggies, and lots of mayo. My folks also enjoyed their crab burgers and they particularly liked the crunchy taste of the crab patties. Further, they approved of the crisp but thinly battered onion rings, and I found my sweet potato fries to be scrumptious. Also of note is that this restaurant, in addition to serving fountain soft drinks, serves bottled Mexican Coke which is quite tasty. Finally, I wrapped up our time there by enjoying a small bowl of thick Cookies & Cream ice cream, and I'll also note that there are several flavors available there which is surprising for a restaurant of its small size. Upon leaving this cozy restaurant, we felt completely satisfied in heart and belly. The family-friendliness, delectable burgers, and affordable prices caused us to feel quite at home throughout our time there. We'll definitely be back, and if you enjoy old-fashion burgers and other sandwiches, please give this great spot a try.
