Absolutely horrendous. This place used to give me some actual big and hefty sandwiches. But now i got some thick ass piece of bread and two sad little pickles. Made my protein pocket absolutely wrong. I don't even know what happened to be quite honest. The worker kept getting distracted while trying to add veggies to my sandwich and walking away. Took like 10 minutes just to put on some veggies. Speaking of veggies. Why the hell do I only get 4 pickles on a damn footlong. Service is slow and the sandwiches are pretty much just bread. If you want a subway sandwich from here i suggest just eating a whole entire loaf of bread instead. All the employees are dumb as a box of rocks. Some people aren't ready for the workforce. Took so long i was ready to hop over the counter and make my sandwich myself. Never go here. read more

Worst subway ever. They don't wash hands or change gloves between making subs. If you ask for extra of anything they flat out refuse. Their attitude is such that you feel like they could care less about customers. OSHA needs to be called on them. read more

this could possibly be the worst establishment in dowagiac. by the time i got my sandwhich through the line it was cold (there was 1 person infront of me) the spinach looked like it had been frozen and then sat out for 3 days, even the employee stated "are you sure you want spinach?" absolutely ZERO sense of urgency from any employees, terrible ingredients and gnats flying all over behind the counter. please do better read more

I would be embarrassed to have this Subway franchise connected to my name. It is the absolute worst. Before you even get in the store, you are told what they don't have. The worst customer service EVER! We ordered 4 foot longs online using their app. Only ordered meat and cheese basically on every sub. Plus got them toasted. When got the subs home they were loaded with onions cucumbers lettuce tomatoes etc( cold as ice too)nothing my family eats and NO CHEESE. Called them they said to bring in but they didn't replace subs or give us our money back. We threw them away right in front of the employees they have working there. They didn't care. I am so disappointed.. the worst customer service ever..... I came in at 4 pm and tried to order 2 meatball foot long subs.. I was told that they had no meatballs that were not frozen because the mgr just got there and no one else had the common sense to thaw any out. So I returned at 8pm still wanting to order the subs... BUT NO THAWED MEATBALLS... so I thought I would instead order the sweet chicken teriyaki..BUT NO SWEAT SAUCE AVAILABLE.. we're out...close ur doors or get with the program.. This is the most garbage of subways in a world of subways that are never that good in the first place. They are ALWAYS out of what you want, meat, bread, veggies, whatever it is they barely have any stock on hand. Slow as can be always new hires with no training. Stopped for lunch with my daughter today on her lunch break. The guy that was making the sandwich was "sagging" his pants. Totally unprofessional. Nasty. He got about 1/2 way through making the sandwich and said "our computer is down" and he can't sell us the sandwich. The girl running the register has no interest in even trying to fix anything. Not employees seemed very incompetent. Zero customer service skills. I cannot believe that subway allows its "sandwich artists" to work without hairnets, and pants sagging. The subway in Dowagiac is poorly manged they leave minors working for a full shift by their selves. They expect the employees to make sure everything is done before they punch out when the employees schedule is set for a certain time due to school. An employee was by their selves on a Friday night that was supposed to get off at a certain time and they had to stay over and wait for the manger to get there. This employee always works over because no one shows up on time. The manger also makes all employees pay for the money taken out of the cash register by one employee instead of making the person who took it pay for it. read more

This is quite possibly the worse location I have ever visited. I stopped in on a Tuesday at 10:45 to order a tray of sandwiches. The "manager" said, "Nope, need 24 hours notice". I asked if I could just get 11 sandwiches and she also said no. I asked if I could speak to the owner and she said "well, she'll back me up and she's not here." I tried calling to phone the order in earlier but no one answered. I didn't need the sandwiches for 3 hours! I was simply trying to place the order since no one picked up the phone. While realize this was a little last minute, I use Subway regularly for lunches all over Southwest Michigan and not one of them complained I didn't give enough notice. When I started pointing out that there was literally no one in the store and that there doesn't appear to be a reason as to why she can't make the sandwiches, she asked me to leave. They had plenty of bread and could have easily made more for their lunch rush. She explained she had to save it for their lunch customers. If you are the owner and reading this review, your manager is costing you a lot money with her shitty attitude and refusal to serve customers. read more

Went into the restaurant at 6:10 pm. As I opened the door someone began to yell "we only have wheat bread"! OK, I thought I actually wanted wheat bread. Three more people came in behind me. I wanted to look over the menu so I told the person behind me to go ahead. Again, rather loudly she was told about the bread to which she replied "yeah I heard you when I came in". Then we were advised, " we only have three buns left". At that point I looked over the condiment area noticing several empty spots and what was there looked very messy and disorganized. At that point I told them never mind and left the restaurant. I called the national customer service to report this and other instances I had been advised of by co-workers. I was told the owner and someone from regional would call me within 48 hours. Been almost 4 weeks, still waiting for that call. read more

Skip this Subway. They had no chicken, turkey, ham, American cheese, etc. Said they were waiting on truck. Staff has only one speed, slow. Only two of us there but of three employees only one could make our sandwiches. Other two were too busy talking to help. Worst Subway I have ever seen. They can't even clean off tables when they don't have any customers placing orders. They needed smoke break instead. read more
