I initially went through the drive-thru and ordered just a cod sandwich. After waiting several minutes, I decided to add fries and a drink to make it a meal. When I returned to the drive-thru, I was told by the staff member, Raman, that I would have to pay full price for everything because I didn't order it as a meal the first time. As someone who has worked in fast food, I know this could have easily been handled with a bit of flexibility and common sense--especially given the short time that had passed. Instead, I was met with rude service and zero effort to accommodate the situation. Sadly, this visit has soured my opinion of this location. Customer service training is clearly needed here. I'll be going to the McDonald's across the street next time. To add to the injury, Raman was very unapologetic and almost seemed happy to make me pay extra and to be an unsatisfied customer.
