I got food poisoning from my turkey sandwich. The only thing I ate since this morning. So I know it wasn't anything else.

Been coming here for a while no issue but today one of the employees was clearly sick and coughing without a face mask and I asked her if she was sick and she said yes. Going to subway is a matter of convenience. If you have ever been there you know it is pretty much the same across the board. However, the subway I go to is a victim of poor management and leadership that reflects across moct of the employees as well as stores. My issue is this: a lot of money is spent in developing and pushing the app in order to make you order more and take advantage of the specials. The app doesn't reflect the menu available. a good example is there is no power bowl. , and when you bring it up to the staff, you get the same answer, a shoulder shrug and no idea how to communicate this to a higher level, nor do they even care. So my simple answer now is I will order and enjoy, but miss out on the savings and convenience but the staff never gets a tip. read more

Tip: This location is not closed but they do have different hours due to COVID-19 On Thursday I had a frantic moment where I lost track of time for lunch, so I called this Subway location and with no problem, delay, or confusion, I was able to order 10 turkey foot longs. When I arrived for pickup, the order was completed quickly, which made me nervous thinking maybe they rushed... but they actually did a great job and every sandwich was perfect with nothing missing! Looks clean... but hair in my sub... Edit: I was really craving subway at the time. A pepperoni one. I walked in mildly surprised at how clean it was. Subway is usually filthy and depressing to look at. Kind of like walking into foodmaxx. Not this one. Ordered to go several times here over the years no problems and good service. Now all my orders are Subway App which has deals , custom sandwich, along with pre-order, payment all taken care of. Compared to some of the other Subway's in this area this is the best one. read more

Arrived at the McGowan location approx., 715 pm... OPEN sign flashing & doors unlocked... As soon I walk in, was advised that they were closed... Let them know they may want to turn off the OPEN sign then, of which they advised "It is now"... Sign on the door posted "UPDATED TEMPORARY HOURS", with a closing time of 9 pm, 7 days a week... Yet they are closing at least 1.5 hours early, on a Saturday night, with not only myself but another truck load of customers... go figure... guess I really did want pizza after all... lights were completely out before my pizza was even ready... read more

I probably won't be returning to this Subways, but I'll definitely will never ever be returning at night!! My daughter and I went to go get a sandwich the other night shortly after it got completely dark. We parked in one of the few spots directly in front of the store. There were about 5 guys "hanging out" in front of the smoke shop two doors down. We got our sandwich to go and when we were leaning and I was putting my daughter (1.5 years old) in the car, one of the men in front of the smoke shop had walked to the very east side of the parking lot and was walking back to the smoke shop. He was a pretty large guy. But instead of walking directly back to the smoke shop, he headed right towards my car looking right at me, as I'm bucking my daughter in her car seat. He didn't look like he was coming up to chat, he looked super mean. He stopped for a good few seconds about 7 feet away from us and then turned and walked back to the smoke shop! Thank god lol So anyways, I probably won't be returning to this store because even thought it might not sound like it, in the movement with my baby there, it was scary! Which I'm sad to say because I actually really like this store! They've always been so friendly to me and not rude like most of the other local Subways I've been to. read more

Love Subway sandwiches, but when I went there today, I needed to use the restroom, and low and behold there was a sign on it saying "employees only" so I crossed my legs, did the dance while I waited for my sandwich to be completed - then drove the 7 miles home hoping to not get a ticket. Please note Subway, Olivehurst, The State of California stipulates that all public and privately owned buildings where the public gathers be equipped with enough restrooms to meet the needs of the public at peak hours. I hope when I go in next time that the sign is off the door, otherwise I will be turning you in. read more

I wouldn't say this is amazing by any stretch of the imagination, I mean it is subway afterall, but for a subway, this has been a pretty decent one. The employees have been very friendly in the handful of times I have been, which if you have ever been to a subway in sac you know how refreshing that is. The food is subway food; its cheap and nothing special, but you do get a decent meal for the price, and so long as the condiments are all fresh, which in my visits they were, the sandwiches are enjoyable. read more

The employees at this Subway care that you have a good experience at their restaurant. They've catered sandwiches for special events at my plant on many occasions and my employees are always very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the food. Love subway. The staff is nice and considerate. One time my debit card wouldn't work and they offered me the sandwich for free, because I go there regularly. Depending on when you go it can be a little busy, but for service like that it's worth the wait. read more
