It was just off the highway and shared a parking lot entrance with a Zaxby's. Parking was a bit congested but there were spaces available. Following the recent trend, this McDonald's uses order kiosks. However, they also seemed to be taking orders at the counter. They have also introduced some new system where you are told to pick up a plastic 'V' with a number on it so that they might bring the food to your table (where you should display said 'V'). However it also spits out your receipt with an order #, so you can just pick it up at the counter yourself. I'm not sure if the new table-related delivery is to reduce congestion near the counter where people wait on orders...? The food came out fairly quickly. No issues with overall cleanliness of the dining area or the restroom. If, when exiting, you detour through the back of the truck stop / gas station next door, you can get to another driveway that provides better access to the road and lets you turn left back to I-16 a bit easier.

I'm not a huge McDonalds person but realize it's an affordable option and you basically get what you pay for. This was one of my nicest experiences at a McDonalds. My daughter and I went in to use the bathroom and I just got an iced coffee, but the woman behind the counter has all the best of that stereotypical Georgia southern charm and treated me like an old friend. I'm not certain but she may have been the manager as it looked like she may had been working on schedules when we walked in. So, sure, maybe her service was better than the usual hourly employee but, (a) I'm not certain if she was the manager or just deserves to be, and (b) I think a lot can be said about a manager who jumps up to help in any role needed and I bet her team really responds well to her if she is the manager. Anyway, the bathroom and Restaurant weren't immaculate but we're clean and well-stocked and certainly better than many McDonalds we've seen on our road trips. I'd definitely go back if I'm the area! Ps- for parents; the women's bathroom is single-user but spacious and good for a mom with kids. It also has a changing table.

Let's start with this delicious sandwich...first of all the tenders they use for the sandwich were on point! The bacon was evenly spread and I can say I tasted bacon in every single bite! The lettuce and tomatoes were super fresh and to top off this greatness it was all between buttery Texas toast!! This delightful sandwich was accompanied by so equally delightful crinkle cut fries which were seasoned to perfection! Now the only thing that wasn't award winning in this situation was the "sweet" tea...it just wasn't ghetto (sweet) enough for me lol. The restaurant and bathrooms are consistently clean. If you have never been to a Huddle House, it's like a Waffle House on steroids but more compact and "to the point" than an IHOP. I find that when I'm in town, I come here at least once a day for one of my meals. There's not many businesses I will mention when I have someone's ear, but this is one of them. It's a small town with a lot of visitors. I always say: "try the Huddle House, you won't be disappointed". Southern hospitality and cooking at its best. A solid five stars for me.
