Excellent McDonalds. Came here for lunch during my son's school trip and must say they have a good thing going on here. Tip: use the app to get some specials and discounts. Order time took a few minutes and was glad to see they were so efficient and on point. Restaurant handled a large crowd well and the store is clean and well organized. By far the best McDonalds experience I've ever had. Easy to use self order menu screen. Meal brought to my table. I could hear a manager actually "managing" and working through an issue with the Rewards system. She seemed to have real concern and focus on correcting the issue, which she did. Another employee helped another guest at the beverage counter and wished him a good day and said she would see him same time tomorrow. Very clean restaurant as well. This was one of the worst McDonald's experiences we've ever had. We stopped in to stretch our legs, use the bathroom, and to get a bite to eat after several hours on the road. We ordered on the app and saw our order pop up on the screen and waited. And then we waited some more. We took turns going to the bathroom, making sure someone would be outside to get the order if it was called. Everyone finished, including changing the baby, and we waited some more. After 20-30 minutes, and multiple people coming in after us getting their orders and our order still on the screen and us not getting it, we had to ask what was taking so long. I had time to go leave and get gas next door, and then come back - and the order was finally ready. We got the food and left... only to find out two of the orders were incorrect. Atmosphere - Normally I would not rate a drive thru but if you are going to have the double lane style, use both.  Instead they only used the inside lane this morning. Food Drink - I normally drink black coffee at home so I treat myself with a hot mocha while out and about.  Large hot mocha was perfect.  Even the last sip. Sandwiches - I went with my standard Sausage Egg McMuffin (English muffin), this is why I go to McDonald's.  The English muffin was over toasted leaving some spots black.  If it was not for that the sandwiches would have been perfect. The girl at the front counter was very nice but whoever is cooking here needs retraining. The chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers were burnt. I'm disappointed I ordered as much food as I did for a road trip. McDonald's goes out of its way to make sure that food is consistent. The cook clearly didn't care . I think giving this place a two star which is the overall review is way too high. This was the worst experience I've ever had fast food establishment when confronting a manager about an issue she was very disrespectful, rolling her eyes and not wanting to do any problems solving. I sat in my car for 35 minutes in the drive-through parking space with my three kids in the car coming back from vacation while they already cleared the computer code and asked me for my receipt since they already deleted my order off the screen to show good positive numbers. While I sat at the and wasn't acknowledged by anyone, and when I was, it was all disrespectful. I was argued with by the employees about that. I was told my food was gonna take a minute, which was not true overall, this place is less star the worst experience I've ever had and Miss T is the most disrespectful and should have her stripped, and should never be able to work in a service industry again. I called to speak to Harriet Johnson. The general manager I was told she was on vacation. I asked when is she coming back? I would imagine this tea is the one I spoke with. I asked to leave a number and when I asked when she was coming back, she hung up on me and I called back. She answered very disrespectful and said I have all needed to talk about and I don't need any more information from you. I can't say that this is the worst experience more than what I have above. Worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Walked in and went straight to the counter to place an order...no one helped us and we left after 15 minutes of waiting. There was no one there to take our order at 3:15pm in the afternoon. To add to this awful service, Kiosk didn't work and I found out after I put in my order. Service is awful so if you want mcdonald's, I recommend finding another one. Horrible experience and a big waste of my time. The Wifi in this restaurant does not work!! We had to evaluate the restaurant when we were back on the highway Clean with well kept restrooms, but service is a little slow. On a road trip back to Atlanta, we stopped at the McDonald's in Richmond Hill (I-95 exit 90). My two-cheeseburger combo meal fed me so well that I started getting sleepy on the road. Really sleepy. Food coma sleepy. I had no choice but to pull over at the next exit where we found, yes, another McDonald's. This time we'd reached the city of Metter (I-16, exit 104). Two McDonald's in one road trip = new record for me. This standalone McDonald's was mostly empty on a Sunday afternoon. The cashier said loud and clearly, with an ear-to-ear grin on her face, "Hello! Welcome to McDonald's!" to every customer who walked through the doors. She and the staff were getting a kick out of it. We ordered two medium McCafe Frappes (iced coffee drinks), one caramel flavored and one mocha flavored. $6.00 ($3.00 each) + $0.48 tax = $6.48 total bill. Those babies were delicious and hit the spot. I prefer the caramel flavor. The caffeinated concoctions are topped with whipped cream and sweet syrup. The drinks were smooth, creamy, and flavorful. They were above average sweet compared to other McCafe Frappes I've had. The drinks were so cold and icy that towards the end, they started becoming iced slushies (difficult to sip with a straw). The store was clean and the staff was polite and efficient. A McCafe logo is painted on the asphalt in the parking lot. Ba da ba ba ba! I'm lovin' it! read more

I bought 2 double cheeseburger and I wanted a sweet tea. They told me they didn't have any tea. The very next lady in line asked her for a sweet tea and she took in the back and made her one. The cheeseburger had so much salt on them I couldn't eat it. I think both were done on purpose being I'm a older white guy. It's sad this use to be my stopping point between Atlanta and Savannah. My one experience here was good. I stopped to get the kids out of the car and have a quick snack. The employees were so friendly, got our order right, and had clean bathrooms when we went. Has a busy parking lot so just be careful there. read more

Ashley was mad! Mad at me because my order was done wrong. I sent it back and she didn't want to take it back, because she said it wasn't her fault. I told her that didn't matter. When she came back with the corrected order she gave me her "mean face". I spoke at her further but she refused to respond, sufficiently armed with the mean face I referred to earlier. Ashley clearly needs a time out and restriction from her cell phone. Maybe she'll have to miss the skating party on Saturday too unless she learns how to behave in front of customers. read more

The best McDonald I have ever been to. When I walked in 3 different employees said "welcome to McDonalds". She. I order the person at the registers asked me how I was going and engaged me in conversation. She also offer advice on how to save a little money. I was totally blown away at for friendly, polite and efficient they staff was during my visit. I have been back a few other time and had the same experience. I commend the manager, you have done an outstanding job motivating your employees. Off the same exit I had a horrible experience at KFC. We travel alot on I16 and stop frequently at McDonald's in Metter.We usually go through the drive thru when in a hurry. We went through for a bite on the way to Savannah late morning. Charlie got a fish sandwich and a diet dr pepper and me a quarter pounder and diet coke. The sandwiches were good but when I took a drink of the diet coke it was awful! Apparently the machine was cleaned and not flushed properly. I got more of a bleach mixture than diet coke. Charlie's drink was not as bad but you could still taste it.
