Breakfast was there second option that came with beans, toast, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and 2 fried egg. It came also with coffee and orange juice. Can't really complain at under six euro. Th sandwich I had later was a club sandwich with bacon egg chicken, perhaps a few other bits ( can't recall). Also cheap at around 5 euro. Nice range of snacks and as with most places here ( now anyway) you can pretty much guarantee that the quality will be fairly good. I give it 3 stars because apart form anything I am trying to be fair yet critical and although the food was good for snack food it wasn't anything to write home about or savour over. Just another place to grab a quick bite.

Drinks were not to Hard Rock standard. Too sweet and watery, Out of the 40 or so I've been to, this is in the lower 10 percent. Also, some aggressive drunk was in the house, tables behind mine and grabbed my shoulder and motioned I must move so he could see from 3 rows back. I understand not being in good seats but don't put you hands on someone's shoulder and insist they l move. Ask nicely... It kind of ruins the atmosphere. One lady looked disgusted at her food shining a light off the table (see picture) to see if it was cooled. The Italian waiter was nice but clearly the staff is overwhelmed by the number of tables they must service. There's no reason not to hire additional staff and do things right. There's no rock memorabilia anywhere on site. There is a small store but no guitars, no records, nothing! Rather than rate this place one star, the second star is for overworked waiter. This place is, by no means, a real hard rock. Hard rock management, shame on you for selling a franchise without properly monitoring for the quality of your brand.

Instead of many other restaurants they made the sandwich with real fried eggs and not with cooked... Moreover, we have ordered a dessert (pancake & waffle). Both were good as well. All in all, I can recommend the Mar Cafe, especially the prices are less than the hotel lunch menus.
