Austin made the entire process easy from the start. No overselling, no pressure, just straight answers and zero wasted time. Exactly how it should be. There were no frills, no gimmicks, and canceling was shockingly easy. I was able to do it via email, which might be the easiest gym membership cancellation I have ever experienced. The gym itself was always clean. I usually went in the middle of a normal business day and never once felt like it was crowded. Equipment was available and the overall vibe was calm and efficient. If you are in town temporarily or just want a gym that respects your time, this place delivers. Truly an easy, stress free experience.

My legs were all excited and wanted to continue but my poor lungs haven't had that level of cardio in a hot minute and blessed me with a few dry heaving sessions in front of some poor homeowners decorating their lawn for the holidays. "Muscle Activation" is amazing and John's knowledge of it is impressive. Brb as I proceed to read scholarly articles on this gold. Besides the MAT sessions, I've also attended the new classes given in the new area located next door and liked it. The trainer Rebecca (sp?) is challenging and encouraging at the same time and had me sweating through my shirt in no time at all. The gym is always clean and tidy as well, which I greatly appreciate.

During my last month there, I experienced ongoing harassment from an employee, their trainer made…read moreme feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. While I was in the back alone using the chair massage, he approached me holding a pair of gloves I had previously given him and asked if I wanted them back. After I declined, he stated that I could "have them back so I could fit into them one day," clearly making a comment about my weight, and then threw them away directly in front of me. When I went to the front desk to ask him to leave me alone, he secretly began recording me mid-conversation in an apparent attempt to make me appear aggressive while leaving out the events that led up to the interaction. There were also multiple other incidents that contributed to the hostile environment. He approached my husband to speak negatively about me trying to wedge into my marriage. I was also informed that he had been taking pictures of my vehicle when I arrived at the gym, telling people "look who just showed up". Those images, along with the secretly recorded video, were eventually sent to me. In another incident, while I was walking into the gym wearing a pink workout shirt, he mocked my appearance and weight by referring to me as "big old pink Pepto Bismol" while laughing. Due to the repeated harassment, intimidation, and inappropriate behavior, I no longer felt comfortable or safe in the Lake Charles Planet Fitness. I ultimately decided to cancel my gym membership with planet completely and switch to a new gym where I feel more at peace and SAFER. I attached one of the photos he took of my vehicle. I am going through the teacher training and hope to be in studio by end of summer. Club Pilates is so fun, no routine is the same, it offers many types of classes, from relaxing stretech classes, cardio sculpt, interval training, reformer flow ( different levels of difficulty), to the level 2 challenges. They offer many sessions thru out the week and weekends. classes begin early morning all the way through evening. it doesn't take long for your body to transform in to a sculpted tone. Your aches and pains will improve. I am 54 and have neck issues, back surgery, and a total knee replacement. if I don't go to Club Pilates regularly, my aches and pains creep up on me. She was also dressed in what looked to be pajamas. Not a great look when doing a first class with 5 potential customers/members. After the trial class, I received texts for the next 2 months asking me if I wanted to do a trial class.... So it seems pretty unorganized. I haven't heard anything good from anyone else either. One friend had told me classes regularly end 10-15 minutes early. Another friend told me that she regularly goes to a location out of state and it's amazing there but the energy at this one is off. I have also been to BYLD and Epic. Love both of those and highly recommend BYLD!
