I first ordered during the pandemic to share and fell in love then. You can tell they are crafted with care. I also like the multitude of designs they have seasonally. These would make a great gift to a teacher, friend or boss. The bakery itself is small but cozy. They offer a variety of cafe style drinks and have really nice decor. Overall I'm proud to be repeat customer of Mac Lab and highly recommend their desserts.

I love how there are paintings/chemical formulas with flowers on the tables as their decor. Their drinks are very affordable and reasonable. I got the lavender latte which was around $5 and an Americano for about $3. The lavender latte had a good syrup taste, but not the best lavender latte I had. It was good though (4/5!) Some of the macaroon flavors were lacking :( -earl grey: I had high hopes because I love a good earl grey drink and pastry. But I didn't taste any of the earl gray flavor -lavender honey: I love flower flavors. I got their lavender latte granted. I think only the aftertaste has a sliver of lavender to it. It didn't give me that warm feeling like a spring menu would. -pistachio: only the aftertaste had a slight nutty flavor, pretty disappointed with how it came out -rose lychee: The crème had a slight lychee flavor like kind of fruity. It was a miss for me -salted caramel: This one had an obvious flavor -matcha: crazy enough, this one was the best Overall, I wasn't a crazy fan of their macaroons. We got 6 macarons for about $18, which came in a cute little box. It's a small cafe, but I came in the afternoon where there was only one or two other pairs of people here at the tables. Bathroom required a code. Free parking in the plaza!

Lots of coffee options as well as tea and fruit drinks for non coffee drinkers. Their croffles are delicious! I got the honey one and I really liked it! The baristas were also really nice and quick with the orders, even when there were a lot of drinks and food to make. I was impressed! Definitely coming back especially if I need a change in environment when I work as it seems like a great place to sit and get some work done.

From the outside, it looks pretty tame and unassuming for a coffee shop, but the moment you step inside, it's like walking into a completely different universe. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. I kid you not, it makes you feel like you're sitting inside a real-life geode! The walls are lined with the cutest shelves and unique little trinkets. Their counters were stacked with all kinds of delicious-looking treats, and I honestly had a hard time deciding what to get. I finally settled on a chai tea and a caramel croffle. What really blew me away was how different this place feels from a standard chain coffee shop. The staff genuinely made me feel welcome and cared for. Within just a few minutes my order was ready. The chai tea tasted so authentic, not like it came out of a mass-produced bottle. And the croffle? Perfect. It had that beautiful subtle essence of a flaky croissant. And the caramel wasn't overly sugary at all so you could actually enjoy the rich flavors. I had the most pleasant afternoon here. If you're ever in the area and looking for a cozy spot to unwind, you absolutely have to check this place out! #ashsaidit #fyp #coffeeshopvibes #aestheticcafe #coffeelover #croffle #hiddengems #supportlocal #johnscreekeats #johnscreekcoffee

The employee was sitting down behind the counter just ignoring everyone who came in so quite literally the store was not being monitored and a few other customers mentioned how it would be easy to take. I wanted some gummies and went over to their selection but you can tell it is not maintained. Lots of stale gummies and or empty bins. It was rather disappointing. Once I was ready I was at the counter for about 12 minutes and I kept looking at the employee to see if they would come over. Eventually I said excuse me and he got up very annoyed. Didn't even greet me, tons of attitude and mumbled my total so low I couldn't hear it and had to rely on the screen for my price. I said thank you and he just ignored me and went back to his seat to completely ignore the other customers. It is pretty unfortunate that this location has such awful service.

Lolli and Pops, a store that markets itself as a whimsical haven for candy lovers, has proven to be…read moreanything but sweet when it comes to basic customer service and inclusivity. My recent experience on a Sunday evening (5:22 PM, to be exact) was not just disappointing--it was a glaring example of systemic indifference and selective engagement that has no place in retail, let alone a family-friendly establishment. From the moment my excited little one walked in--freeing herself from her stroller with the innocent enthusiasm only a child can muster--to the moment she proudly selected her lollipop and approached the counter, not a single employee could muster a "Hello," "How are you?" or even a perfunctory "Did you find everything okay?" Instead, the interaction was reduced to a robotic price quote, dead silence, then back to their conversation. No warmth, no acknowledgment, no effort. If the staff's exhaustion at the end of a weekend shift was the issue, then management needs to reevaluate scheduling or hire employees who understand that customer service is the bare minimum in retail. What makes this experience even more egregious is that this wasn't an isolated incident. On multiple occasions, I've noticed a pattern--certain customers are greeted warmly, while others (particularly those who look like me) are met with cold indifference. A simple "Hello" should not be a privilege; it should be standard. If your staff lacks the emotional intelligence to treat all patrons with equal respect, then your establishment has failed at its most fundamental duty. The most heartbreaking part? Watching my little one's bright-eyed anticipation wither into confusion when her simple joy was met with blank stares. Children remember these moments. They internalize them. And while she may not fully grasp the nuances of poor service or discrimination, I do--and I refuse to spend my money in a place that allows such energy to thrive. In 2025, consumers have endless options--and even more platforms to voice their dissatisfaction. If your employees lack the personality (or basic decency) to engage with customers, they have no business working in retail. And if management turns a blind eye to discriminatory behavior, then they don't deserve patronage. To Lolli and Pops at Perimeter Mall: You've lost not just my future business, but the business of my network as well. My coins--and those of my vendors--will be spent elsewhere, with establishments that understand respect, inclusivity, and the bare minimum of hospitality. To Potential Customers: Spend wisely. Your money and your energy should go to businesses that value you--regardless of what you look like or what time you walk in. "A candy store that leaves a bitter taste."
