Wow! Great spot for some pastries and coffee. Stoped in while walking around the plaza. Well decorated and the glass showcases - shows the goodies Open tables that were relaxing. Like the ability to get water from the coffee cream and sugar stand. Gelato as well - good stuff.
I stopped by for coffee and pastry after shot at Trader Joe's. The coffee was drip and fresh while my tiramisu had the right amount of sugar while creamy yet not fatty . Service was commendable and ambiance inviting! I added freshly squeezed orange juice to my order and sat outdoor Great place!
I really liked this bakery! my husband and I came to try it after hearing about it nonstop from coworkers and friends. the service was fast and friendly as you work your way down the glass case of delicious sandwiches and pastries on display to the cash registers by the gelato at the end. the seating is super limited both inside and outside but that definitely doesn't stop the crowd but always keeping this place busy. we both really enjoyed our sandwiches but we both felt like they needed a little extra something to make it really special. the quality of the meats and cheeses were definitely well above average and the bread was high quality too. we finished off the meal with cannolis which were perfect and our favorite part of the meal.
This bakery is located in The Forum. It has plenty of seating inside and in the patio. They have both sweet and savory baked goods, coffees and gelato. The display of freshly baked pastries are you want to try one of each, but we settled for 4 on this trip. The ambiance was airy and lively and the staff were friendly. Definitely a fun place to go for delicious pastries and a cappuccino!
YES! if you're considering stopping in for a great ambience, yes! If you are curious about whether or not the desserts are 100% fresh and delicious, yes! If you are concerned that the service might not be up to par, no need to worry yes I definitely recommend. I loved this bakery. All of the desserts were 100% amazing, and nothing was too overpowering. Excellent flavor, profiles, and very authentic. This bakery gives you a little taste of Italy right in Metro Atlanta. Completely free parking, in an amazing area for shopping and a little friendly/family fun. The prices of their desserts and drinks definitely match the quality of the goods.
My book club group decided to stop by here for our recent meeting and loved it! It does get super crowded since it's the only cafe at the forum so it took us a while to get an empty table. Unfortunately, it was also cold outside so sitting outside was not an option. I got one of their croissants filled with a vanilla cream and a latte with caramel syrup. The latte wasn't as sweet as I wanted it to be, but it was a good balance with the croissant. The croissant was very tasty and wish I heated it up so that it would soften. The custard filling was plentiful and quite tasty without being too sweet. While it wasn't soft, I did enjoy the flakiness of the croissant and it was pretty filling. Overall, a great spot if you're in the area and want a quick pick me up or baked treat!
First time here and I was very disappointed. All the pastries looked amazing, just wish they tasted the same way. The service was good but nothing to shout about. I asked our server which were popular or her favorites and she said, I like the plain croissants. So my husband ordered this fabulous looking rolled croissant topped with Nutella. I ordered one of the stuffed croissants. As we sat to dive into these huge and amazing pastries, we both had the same reaction with the first taste. Ugh, not a lot of flavor. My croissant was dry and had hardly any filling at all. His had very dry chocolate inside and a more gooey on top. Kinda like when you heat chocolate too long it gets that grainy texture. Hopefully, take note and start filling these croissants better. The atmosphere is quite lovely. Update. A coworker went in and tried a pistachio croissant like my husband ordered and thought the flavor was lacking too. I will try it again, as the panini sandwiches looked amazing too. Hopefully it's on point.
I've tried Giulia Italian Bakery a few times. It's a perfect place for a quick coffee or sweet pastry to satisfy your sweet tooth. They offer both interior and exterior seating with the outdoor seating being pet-friendly. The location can get very busy, due to high demand of the bakery items. There are so many items that sound great, but I've yet to try them all. The ones I have tried however are beyond flavorful!! The items may also seem a bit pricey at times, but you get so much that I'm sure the word "leftovers" will be a thing.

The sweet server behind the counter ran through descriptions of each pastry and all the sandwich options. I had to try a little almond, a little Nutella, and a little pistachio. Everything was so delicious and very fresh. The croissant was flaky. The cappuccinos were hot and well-made. The space was a bit crowded but we were able to find a seat. We will definitely come back soon.
I went to Giulia this morning to grab breakfast; the place is super charming and nice; even when the line was quite long, service moves fast. They have so many different pastries to choose from, all combinations sounds great. Because I was hungry I ordered a sandwich with turkey and Gouda, a little croissant type of pastry that was filled with ricotta and orange and an iced coffee with oat milk. Sandwich was pretty plain, just the bun, ham and cheese so it's a 3 out of 5 for me. Coffee... this one was quite disappointing, there's a "burned" taste that it's pretty strong and I think the oat milk helped, this was a 2 out of 5; finally, the sweet treat was the one I liked the most, not overwhelming sweet and good contrast of textures, 4 out of 5. Overall it's a cute place, good sweet treats but not too convinced about their coffee and sandwiches.
I tried a pistachio croissant from another Italian bakery in Miami and heard this one had one too. I was excited to try it! The restaurant is modern and pretty. The workers are nice. The line to order starts immediately when you step in and none of the pastries are labeled, so you have to ask what everything is. I got a pistachio croissant and a sfogliatella. They were both maybe 7 dollars. The croissant was okay. The filling was minimal and mostly just in the middle. It was on the sweet side and hard to taste the pistachio. It was more croissant, which was on the less buttery and flaky side. Not dry in an unfresh way, but a dryer croissant compared to a buttery one. The sfogliatella was delicious. Id get that one again. The layers were amazingly crunchy and the citrus with cheese based filling came together so well. Croissant - 3/5 Sfogliatella- 5/5
Good service, easy ordering, fresh pastries, strong coffee, and fast service. I got a classic croissant, focaccia sandwich, and iced coffee. I will be back next time after shopping and get some desserts!

Giulia Italian Bakery is hands down one of my favorite bakeries in Georgia! Everything here is incredibly fresh, and you can tell they put so much care into what they make. The star of the show for me is the sfogliatelle. It's the one thing that keeps me coming back every single time. It's perfectly flaky on the outside with the most delicious filling inside. The staff is always friendly, the bakery is clean, and the atmosphere is so inviting. I also love that it's located in The Forum, so after grabbing a coffee and a pastry, you can spend some time walking around the shops. My only wish is that they had a few more outlets available. It would be the perfect place to bring a laptop, enjoy a coffee and pastry, and get some work or studying done for a couple of hours. read more

I have always eyed this bakery whenever I pass by. Today, I finally gave it a try. Giulia Italian Bakery does it well. Upon entry, you're greeted by an employee who informs you of the ordering process and guides you thru their goods and services. My party got a variety of bread, sweets, and drinks. All of them were really good--a bit sweet--and tasty. The coffee was strong and kept me running the whole day. The ambiance was really nice too. The store has a lot of window which allows a lot of natural light to come in. Not only that, the smell of bread and coffee is very pleasant. 10/10, give this place a try whenever you're around town. My party spent around ~$30 for 3 pastries, 1 dessert and 1 coffee! Pretty good pricing. read more
Everything was so good. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I finally was able to. The sandwich was amazing! Everything was so fresh and delicious, it was a perfect combination. The cannoli was also amazing. They have a great lavender and vanilla latte if you like that would definitely recommend. It's had some seating but not a lot. The parking lot is kinda a mess but it's free. The staff were sweet and everything came out fresh. Will definitely be back. read more
Incredible A+ bakery. Sometimes the south struggles to offer real authentic Italian or even European bakeries. Usually you only see southern bakeries but Giuliano's knocks it out of the park. We haven't had bakery items like this since the last time we were in Italy. Very on par for what is over there. So glad we stumbled upon this when in Atlanta and loved it so much we had to stop by before heading back home. Love love love this place. read more

Delicious sandwiches, which are better than the pastries. But I am also a savory person, with a sweet tooth, not the other way around. The Italian cold cuts are delicious and the veggies are fresh. Tomatos there are also delicious, so if you're a person who needs a real good tomato to like it, you'd be pleased here with it on your sandwich. A good rotation with a couple staples, I highly recommend the pistachio cannoli, genuinely the best cannoli I've had in Atlanta. Some of the items are quite basic, I would recommend straying from them. Since this place is pricey go for something a bit more extravagant. A basic, well made croissant is just not worth it here though they may be tasty. A tad pricey, but delicious and worth the experience if you order correctly. 1st time I went I'd give it 3 stars, once you know how to order I'd give it 4. read more

We've had an amazing experience every single time we've visited! They have a great variety of coffee drinks and pastries, but the real star is the bread--it's incredible and I highly recommend it. The shop is always clean and quiet, making it a nice spot to relax. While some employees are super friendly, others can seem a bit 'off,' but it might just be a busy day. Overall, a solid local favorite! read more

One of the few bakeries in Atlanta that uses glass dishware. They care about esthetics and experience here. Things you should know: I. PARKING Giulia Italian Bakery is in The Forum. There's a variety of free parking options ranging from out front of the bakery to nearby parking lots. II. SERVICE Timely. They provide a self-service water station, clear display of the pastries, and view into the kitchen for customers to see the process behind the scenes. III. QUALITY Both the coffee and pastry selection here is wonderful ~ Nothing has disappointed. IV. CAPACITY This place is fairly busy for a weekday. There was only one table available when I arrived near noon, and I can imagine it's busier on weekends read more
What a charming little Italian bakery in the Forum! I had no idea this had opened and was so surprised to see it while my cousin from Europe and I were walking around. I hadn't had a pistachio croissant since the last time I was in Italy, so I was excited. We got a pistachio croissant and a pistachio cookie (?). The first person that was helping us wasn't sure of the items so he was nice enough to bring someone else over. Unfortunately, he didn't know a few of the items either, but he still helped as much as he could and was really kind. There was no room to sit inside, but so if you are planning to sit, I would say be prepared to wait. We grabbed to go and walked down to the outdoor seating area and sat at the tables there. There were some sold out croissants as well, so definitely love that this little bakery is getting love ! Super cute, can't wait to stop in again. read more

Went to this Italian Bakery for breakfast, had their sweet and savory crossonts, and their lattes, food was amazing service was top notch and the ambiance was like a little place in Europe, all the sandwiches, Gelato and pastries looked so inviting. read more

10/10 I came here today with my girl squad and the drip coffee was to die for. The customer service was awesome and the pastries looked delicious. It does get a little cramp in there so we decided to sit outside. This place is perfect for day dates, catch up sessions or just grab something and go. read more

I had high hopes here. Went in and the display was beautiful. But nothing is labeled. So I'm asking what items are and the girl picking my order couldn't tell me what 90% of the items were or what was inside. All she knew was a cookie was gluten free which I never asked. There was a few items in the window and as I would ask what the item was she would literally skip Over it and go to another item 12-16 inches away. I'm like directly next to the cookie and she shrugs and goes way the other direction. Eventually I basically just give up because she's so confused about "what's the cookie right next to the one in front of the almond cake" I picked the almond cake and said I was going to keep looking, and every 2 seconds anything else? Anything else? Like can I at least look. Again nothing has labels so I'm looking trying to decipher what each item is. I asked about the focaccia and she couldn't tell me what was inside it so I avoided it. We picked the pistachio cake which was sliced cake and they rang it up as cheese cake which was 12.50!!! 12.50 for a slice of cake!!! While it was average at best not worth more than $6. The pistachio croissant has the filling on top so you expect the inside to be filled generously which is far from the case. There's almost more on top than inside. Overall way over priced to be so under trained on the items sold. Almost $40 for average at best pastries Cute patio area though. read more
I have been here a couple of times and this place is very good. The croissants are on point, flaky, lots of layers and you can see them. Their desserts are beautiful and they have a great presentation. The bakery is clean and lots of light. The service is good and efficient. read more

Giulia Bakery is such a lovely spot. Every bakery item we've tried has been absolutely delicious, and the place itself is beautiful. But for me, the most important part is the people. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. There are some places where you walk in and feel like you don't quite belong, as if you're being silently asked, "Why are you here?" -- but here, the atmosphere is the complete opposite. It feels genuine, cozy, and friendly from the moment you walk in. We tried the almond croissant and fruit tart on my birthday, and today we had the raspberry almond tart -- all of them were amazing. I just wish I weren't on a diet so I could try the sandwiches too! A big thank you to the owner, to those who create these delicious treats, and especially to the smiling staff who make customers feel so welcome. We'll definitely be back. read more

wife and I really enjoyed this bakery. coffee was smooth and tasted great. our filled doughnuts were so good. they have a variety of sandwiches and we definitely plan on getting their for lunch soon. staff was friendly. inside and outside areas to eat. read more

I was greeted when I walked in. I asked which croissants were popular and she said the chocolate one which they had one left. I wasn't in the mood for chocolate so I got the pistachio. Everything looked beautifully made which makes me want to come back again to try more items. I did some work outside which was peaceful minus the flies and a bird that literally flew into my neck lol. It smelt of garlic, butter and yeast outside which I think came from next door. Curious if they're sister businesses. I enjoyed the croissant specifically for the pistachio filling. It tasted of pistachios to the T! Flaky crust and huge. I only at 1/4 of it and went back in for a sandwich which I ate half of. I got the baguette sandwich with the pesto spread. I ate half of my sandwich inside this time and it was so yummy! I've been dying to check out this place since I saw it featured on my Yelp. I want to try more whenever in the area so I'll be back again. read more
we were in the area and were looking for a dessert place so decided to stop here. we got the chocolate croissant and the tiramisu. the chocolate croissant was really big and great flavor. the tiramisu was a bit smaller but had a good taste. it was a bit expensive but overall nice flavors read more
