This is the second time they pulled this BS. Worst cable company I've ever seen in my life. If there were another option for cable I'd recommend it. So cancelled our appointment and can't get us rescheduled for another week. This means over 2 weeks without cable, I hope they don't try and send me a month invoice, it might be lawyer time.

However, the young punk who promised me the promotion lied through his teeth. The promotion never existed and instead of getting what I was promised I was given a promotion where I have to pay $20 for internet and $35 for mobile, for the next 1 year, not 3. I wish I could meet the sales rep that I spoke to so I could punch him in the face. Optimum will lie to you just to get you to sign up, and then when you do, they will increase the monthly charges (in my case $20) and just "hope you won't notice". If you do notice and try to call optimum, they will bounce you around like crazy. Internet and mobile are two separate departments. I got bounced between different departments and I kept getting hung up on. I asked for Sales and got transferred to bill. I was on the phone with these guys for over 2 hours trying to get my bill straightened out only to be told that there is nothing that they can do and that "it is what it is". I am currently looking for a new ISP and mobile service provider.

They informed me that they wouldn't be able to come out for 6 days! 6 days that just happen to cover all of the first NFL weekend. I immediately called Technical Magic and explained my situation. They were booked solid but took mercy on this football fanatic and squeezed me in for an appointment the next morning. They were great and worked with me so I didn't miss the reason I pay DirecTV so much money in the first place, instead of giving me some robotic customer service answer.
