    If I could give no stars I would. I went to this location to return a modem. I was asked to wear a…read moremask so I took one from the lady that was handing them out who proceeded to rudely tell me that there was a sign on the door and I had walked past it. You know what lady whoever you are I'm a mom of two toddlers and was up almost all night so even if I did care about your trucking sign I did not see it. Maybe try to be a little nicer because I literally had just grabbed your mask to put it on until you were rude and caused me to leave. May also want to speed up your customer service since no one has time to stand in a line of 30 people. Awful service!

Today, again I called, as I have several times before each month, and I found out that the phone number that Suddenlink gave me is registered to Telletec, a business. I have never heard of them, so the agent would not put a manager on the phone, Each time I call, I ask for a manager, and have never got one. They will not get one. First month, they shut me off 3 days before the bill was due- I have yet to receive even 1 bill from them. The agent told me I should have paid more to prevent that. So I said to him to take 3 months right then on my credit card so I would not go thru this again. He did not do that. To date I have paid as follows: 1/18 $69.99, 3-5, $124.47, 4/2 $100.48 and 5/3 $74.99. Today I called to find out why nothing matches up and she told me my phone number is to a business account, not a personal one. Why? She refused to get a sup on the phone, saying she would escalate this and if a manager thought it was worth an escalation, they would call me back. I am not holding my breath but I need to find a new company. This one is HORRIBLE. Also, I lose service several times a day. It may only be for a minute or 2 but it is several times a day.

We had 300 mb that also had gotten unaffordable After deciding to leave optimum after numerous calls regarding our bill going up to $82 I felt that we were not very valuable. I have a recorded call asking to have it disconnected on Feb 2 and wanting to know if they can send me a label to return the equipment and was told no they didn't do that and that "I would have to figure it out " after numerous times I told him that it was an hour drive one way to take it and I couldn't do that he kept telling me that I had to figure it out. Then I get an email stating "We're sorry to lose you as an Optimum customer. Your service and billing will ‌end‌ ‌on 02/28/2026. Your final bill will be created on 03/08/2026. Our records show you have Optimum-provided equipment. The below must be returned before 03/08/2026 to avoid unreturned equipment fees on your final bill. The guy I talked to said i only had 7 days. This was also in my email after I drove an hour one way to return the equipment You can return your equipment to any Optimum Store or ship it back using a pre-paid shipping label at no cost to you. Allow at least 5-7 days for equipment to be removed from your account. If you have any questions regarding your unreturned equipment, feel free to chat with us. Once you receive your final bill, you can use Quick Pay to make a fast, secure payment without signing in to your Optimum account. Please keep us in mind for your future connectivity needs. Hope to see you back soon. Not only was the customer service horrible but my internet was slow. Don't be scammed by these people because it doesn't matter how long you have been with them, your NOT a valued customer.
