    I have never left a bad review before, but I am leaving one now. I took my iPad in on Thursday…read moremorning to get the charging port replaced. They told me it would be a few days because they had to order the part. No problem. On Saturday, I receive a voice mail from them telling me that my iPad was ready. I went on Monday morning to pick it up, and they told me that they were just starting to work on it. I told them about the voice message, and they denied it even though it came from their phone number. So, I had driven 30 miles for nothing. They said it should be ready the next day (Tuesday) and they would call me. I didn't hear from them on Tuesday, so I called them on Wednesday. They said they were not quite finished and would call me that afternoon. On Thursday, I called and they said they were working on it and would be finished by 6 that evening. I told him that I was coming to Tyler on Friday morning so I would get it then. He said he would call when he was done. On Friday, I still hadn't heard from them, so I called them again. He said to give him an hour. I told him that I felt like I was getting the run around because for three days, they had told me it would be done. He said he would call me personally within the hour. I got a call a couple of hours later telling me it was ready for pickup. I drove to Tyler and they handed me my iPad. The glass was filthy and scratched. When I told him it was scratched, he snatched it out of my hand and squirted a cleaner on it. He handed it back to me. It was clean but was still scratched. I told him that it had deep scratches on the glass that were not there when I brought it in. He said that they didn't do it. I told him that the iPad had been in a case since I bought it and was in perfect condition when I brought it in. Nevertheless, I paid and told them I was not happy. I got my iPad and left. Before I could get in my car, he came running out to tell me that the case I had probably didn't protect the glass. I happened to have my case in my car. I showed him that it was a waterproof case and totally covered my iPad. He kind of looked shocked and said that the only thing they could do was put a tempered glass on it. I declined and left. In my opinion, they aren't trustworthy and are rude.

We had 300 mb that also had gotten unaffordable After deciding to leave optimum after numerous calls regarding our bill going up to $82 I felt that we were not very valuable. I have a recorded call asking to have it disconnected on Feb 2 and wanting to know if they can send me a label to return the equipment and was told no they didn't do that and that "I would have to figure it out " after numerous times I told him that it was an hour drive one way to take it and I couldn't do that he kept telling me that I had to figure it out. Then I get an email stating "We're sorry to lose you as an Optimum customer. Your service and billing will ‌end‌ ‌on 02/28/2026. Your final bill will be created on 03/08/2026. Our records show you have Optimum-provided equipment. The below must be returned before 03/08/2026 to avoid unreturned equipment fees on your final bill. The guy I talked to said i only had 7 days. This was also in my email after I drove an hour one way to return the equipment You can return your equipment to any Optimum Store or ship it back using a pre-paid shipping label at no cost to you. Allow at least 5-7 days for equipment to be removed from your account. If you have any questions regarding your unreturned equipment, feel free to chat with us. Once you receive your final bill, you can use Quick Pay to make a fast, secure payment without signing in to your Optimum account. Please keep us in mind for your future connectivity needs. Don't be scammed by these people because it doesn't matter how long you have been with them, your NOT a valued customer.
