Decent mechanical work but terrible communication. Dropped my car off at 8 AM for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. They told me it would be done by noon. I didn't get a call until 4 PM and then they tried to upsell me multiple filters I didn't need. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I toon my car to the jeep dealership took an hour for drop off and then I was quoted 189 for alignment, 79 for cabin filter and 63 air filter. Called Sudley for price comparison they pick up and you can hear the happiness in the employees voice, he quoted me 109 alignment, 78 cabin filter and said about 20 bucks air filter because they don't charge labor for something so simple. I get there and warmest greeting ever. The helped me transfer my stuff to their shuttle made sure my son was safe in his car seat. Then when it was time for pick up I was a little stressed because my son was still napping and they come pulling up in front of my house with my car. As a single mom that meant EVERYTHING to me! The fact that they cared enough to make such a gesture just proves that they actually care about customers and they're not out to just take your money. They want to build trust. When the other place failed to rectify my concerns, I took my car to Sudley. Not only did they quickly diagnose and resolve the issues with my car, but they noticed and pointed out several other items that the old shop failed to. I left completely satisfied. I feel like such an idiot.. this place completely scammed me and I made the mistake of trusting them. I made the mistake of going in as a young female by myself to get my vehicle looked at because it was shaking a bit at idle and I wanted an oil change. I rode with the mechanic and he told me that it felt like a wheel baring was loose and I made the HUGE MISTAKE OF TRUSTING HIM.. I found out when I came home and told my dad about what happened that you will HEAR a wheel baring if there is an issue with it and there was absolutely no noise or issues with the steering. I was told my wheel was "about to come off" but come to find out I would have definitely known if it was about to fall off. I know, embarrassing I didn't know that and I should have known to double check with someone but I thought the mechanic was genuinely concerned for my safety but unfortunately he just wanted my money, told me absolutely nothing helpful, did not fix my issue I originally came in for, car drives 100% THE EXACT SAME as before I took it in. I am so upset that it is so hard for me to find a mechanic I can trust in this area.. I will now have to ask my dad or boyfriend to take time out of their days to accompany me because these NOVA mechanics continue to take advantage of me. I am embarrassed but want to WARN people I do not want them to do this to anyone else. Walked in Monday morning for my first emissions inspection with my 11 month old. This place was so friendly and got me out of there within an hour or so while they were fairly busy. They have a nice waiting area, offered coffee & water, and have a little kid area to entertain them. I'll definitely go back there. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This place is shady and Mark at customer service is either a liar or obnoxiously stupid, but, I have a feeling it is a combination of both. I went in initially to get some "airplane noise" checked out on my E350. I had a feeling it was wheel bearing and I shared that with Mark. I left my car at 11:30am and be said he would have his mechanic check it out and call me back. 2pm rolls around, no call. 5pm rolls around and still nothing. Needless to say, terrible communication. They close at 6pm so within an hr and I still have not had any one call me so I don't know what's wrong with my car. I finally decide to call them only for Mark to NOT apologize. I said I waited 6 hrs to hear from him and he said "ok". What a d-bag! Then he proceeds to say my safety inspection failed as well because I needed a new tire. As for the real problem, he said, something with transmission and take it to a Mercedes dealership. Wtf! I waited 6 hrs for him not to call me only for him to tell me he doesn't know what's wrong. Finally, I go to pick up my car and he charged me $60 for them inspecting my car. WTF!!! They told me they can't figure it out and take it to dealership after 6 hrs of not communicating only for him to charge me another $60 for nothing? What a slimy place. If you are the owner of this place, I hope you are reading this. Anyways, my car also passed safety inspection next day as it turns out my tire was fine, I just needed to go to a more reputable place. Set appointment for safety inspection, waited 1h 40min. Just to be told they can't find parts for my model and all they can find is OEM. For only $440 I'll be all set. Politely declined went on ebay, got the parts took it to another mechanic. All this for 70 bucks. Oh and he told me that my break light wire was just disconnected and I don't need the new part so I can return it and get my money back. The funny thing is, there was another guy after me failed for a break light and he said that he checked the night before and it was alright. Strange things happen overnight... So if you decide to bring your car there - be aware. I know that most of the car shops are looking after your money other than actually looking to help out the customer. The staff was professional and informative. I learned about the difference between state inspection and emission inspection. The wait time was 45 minutes, which was expedient in my opinion. They made recommendations for the emission inspection, which I will need repairs for in a year. I just went in, super last second no appointment nothing. My brakes stopped working while I was driving and I needed last second help. Very friendly an informative staff! When I first called to schedule my brake service Jenna was the one who I spoke to. She addressed all my concerns and was very professional. She quoted me a good price to get my brakes done on my BMW and an estimated time on how long that it would take for me to get it done. Upon check in, she went over everything and re-confirmed the cost of the services before the work was done and made sure I didn't have any additional concerns. My brakes were done in less time than I was told which was great. I was in and out! Usually most places will quote you a price and wait time that is not followed through but Sudley Car Care Center is a place of their word! I had my car before the time promised and quality work was performed. I usually don't trust just any place to work on my car because it is European and most places overcharge and don't do a good job but this place is efficient! I would rate this company more than five stars to tell you the truth! I came in with more than one indicator lights showing on a 2008 BMW 328i. My engine wasn't starting or if it did, it stalled. I spoke with Jason , the service manager there , and may I say, I will never regret coming to this place and I will continue to keep coming to this place!! He took the time to break down the mechanical breakdowns in the simplest form to me(since I'm a female)! If you are not taking your vehicles to Sudley you are messing up. My family and I have taken our cars here for years and have always had exceptional, quality, and honest service. My most recent experience, however, had convinced me I NEED to write a public review. I have a used car (2016 Toyota Corolla) that I got a few extended warranties on so usually I take to the Toyota dealership but I just need emissions and Inspection so I took it to Sudley. When they called me that it was done they mentioned that they noticed oil on my head gasket and that is definitely something I would want to check out ASAP. The woman at Sudley called Toyota to inquire about a warranty and as soon as she said the year and mileage Toyota said it wouldn't be covered. She pushed them to actually look it up where they saw all of my extended warranties and that I was still under warranty. She let me know that it could be nothing but I'm probably close to being out of warranty so I should take it to Toyota ASAP bc a head gasket would be really expensive. I took it to Toyota and they said they didn't think it was the gasket even after they looked at it but since I'm under warranty they would run a pressure test and confirm. Well there wasn't anything wrong with my head gasket but my engine is leaking oil and they discovered what was wrong and were able to fix it under warranty. The Toyota rep then told me that whoever looked at my car is really really excellent. He said "most people would have never even noticed this". I know little to nothing about cars, but as soon as he said that I knew I needed to write this review bc even other technicians were impressed by the thorough job done by Sudley! As soon as my car is out of warranty I'll resume my normal maintenance at Sudley!! TL;DR - get all of your cars serviced at Sudley Car Care ! read more

They will take advantage of you if you don't know anything about cars. My mom paid 120 to get the Engine light check and the lady tried to push their expensive 300 dollar interstate battery on her. There was nothing wrong with her battery because we had it checked at two different shops. It took them 6 hours to check the engine light and still tried to sell us the battery before they check the engine light. Long story short we went to AutoZone bought the camshaft sensor like we TOLD HER the problem was and replaced it and the light went off. I wouldn't recommend to anybody. My mom was ready to waste her last little bit of 300 dollar for their battery when hers had no problems and probably pay another 200 or more for the camshaft sensor. They will make you fix things that's not necessary. read more

Took my Jeep here for a last minute (I forgot) state inspection. My experience was great. They went ahead and replaced bulbs, plugged a leaking tire and did an oil change. They had all of this done in just under 1.5 hours which I think is phenomenal for a walk-in customer. I was informed that my brakes are fairly worn and that I would need new ones eventually. Dave explained everything to me very well and I didn't feel pressured or hassled at all. I got a quote on my breaks and it was a great experience. I have been using Sudley Car Care since they opened more than 20 years ago. They have ALWAYS done right by me. Year ago, my 1988 Nissan Pickup was in for service and the mechanic thought it was simply clutch. After the clutch was done, the truck still wouldn't move. I had a bad counter sprocket (if I recall correctly.) To be fair, there was no reason why my transmission should have been bad and their initial assessment that it was my clutch, by all rights, should have been spot on. I do not fault the mechanic AT ALL. Mr. Ginther offered to repair my transmission for COST OF PARTS ONLY because they had diagnosed that it was surely my clutch. Over the years, I have always found Sudley Car Care to be honest forthright. They have always gone the extra mile and made me smile. read more

I recently had to get a piece in my car fixed and I decided to choose Sudley Car Care for my car. Costco recommended this place and gave a 15% discount. I did a call ahead and they were able to order and get ready all the parts needed for the fixture. I turned my car in and they said it would take them a day. They were very friendly and treated my car very carefully when bringing it into the garage. The next day came, but they called me and told me they needed a special tool that only my car manufacturer sold. No big deal and not a mistake on their part, but they did apologize and guaranteed it would be ready the next day. They did as promised and I was able to pick up my car. When I came in I was greeted by two very calm and cute small dogs. They handed over the car and the prices were set fairly without the price of the tool. I checked out the car and everything looked great. The car sounded amazing and better than when I turned it in. Took my car here after failed inspection for tires which I believe to be premature since there was plenty of tread. Felt the previous place just wanted to sale tires they conveniently had on stock for 500. Bought tires at Costco for 350 went to Sudley to get a good sticker. Now keep in mind previous place passed everything else but tires. Well Sudley car care failed me for lower control arm on front left and right saying they were dry rotted and unsafe but conveniently could fix one control arm and just replace bushings in other for 700! Two lower control arms only cost 100 a piece at autozone. Talk about generating revenue! Last time I went here I swore not to return when they failed me for 1 of 2 Tag lights out they could fix for 30! 5 min 2 dollars and I did myself. read more
