Excellent service. However make sure you go there early on Sundays if you need a car wash. The site says they are open til 5pm. They put the cones out at 430pm so no one can't go through. I would recommend changing the hours on the site if they are gonna block it with cones. read more

Needed to get my Turo rental car vacuumed and washed before turning it in, and the owner suggested Sudz, which has locations in Lihue or Kapaa. Chose the Lihue location since it was near the airport and the Turo parking lot. It's located in an industrial area, and you can opt to just vacuum your car, just be aware that you might have trouble getting out if there's a line for the car wash. There are a good number of vacuuming stalls, and the stalls are spacious enough to get the hose around your car. Cost is $2 in quarters, so bring change. $2 was enough to vacuum an SUV's carpets, seats and trunk in one try, even though the nozzle kept coming off the stupid hose. Once you're done vacuuming you can back up and line up for the car wash, which costs $16 for a basic wash, which is all the car needed. You pay with a credit card at the kiosk and then drive forward when the guys using the brush to manually wash the front of your car direct you toward the washing area. They'll wash for a bit, then direct you to the autowash equipment. It was quick and efficient, if a little pricey for a basic wash. read more

I got the Big Kauhuna Wash and the guys did a great job on the prewash scrubbing of our wheels Pricing is reasonable too. Vacuums were powerful for the sandy interior. My only issue was that the vacuum required quarters. I suggest instead building the cost of the vacuum into the wash price and make the vacuums require a unique code to be used instead. read more

We came here to clean a turo , Turns out the vacuum Is not included in the price. Its $2 coins for 15 minutes . We of course only traveled with our credit cards . Right as we are about to drive away defeated the owner goes to his car and gives us $2 in coins ! Thank you !! Mahalo read more

Came here before dropping off our Turo. We chose the super works but did not get the works lol so I suggest just getting the basic. Also make sure you have cash! One bradda pulling out of the car wash helped us out but first vacuum machine ended up eating all of our quarters. Beware the 15 min time limit is actually more like 7 minutes before it shuts off! read more

First impression was it appears pricy for a drive through car wash. After the wash, I am struggling to give it the above 2.5 stars, making it a 3-star "good" rating seems almost to good. Maybe having trouble finding the neutral on my Prius caused me to miss out on the "Super" part of da Works? Lol! First time ever shifting into "N" with the joy stick! Honestly, I find the quality of the wash not worthy of $19.00! I still had to scrape the residual bug juice from my car but it does appear to be clean. I wanted to rinse of the ocean bath of shipping it from from Oahu to Kauai. I might be back to try the Basic $12.00 wash if I am not feeling the urge to bust out the old bucket of suds and use my own elbow degreaser! Sudz seems to be the local LIHUE drive through wash, and looks pretty busy for a Tuesday afternoon. Got my Sudz Car Wash punch card just in case I decide to become a regular! read more

These guys work hard! I was surprised to see that they have a guy out front that takes your order, manually preps your car as quickly as they can, before another directs your car onto the belt for a standard, automated gas station car wash. At $12 for basic, $17, and $19 for their top package, this is super affordable (especially for Kauai!) I hope they're paying these guys enough. I can't imagine scrubbing an endless line of cars in heat and humidity. It's only about 3 minutes from start to finish, assuming there's zero line. We went on a Friday morning and there was 2 cars in front of us. It moved quickly though. I can see how it might not be entirely spotless, but for $12, no one else would add this level of manual labor, let alone bother drying your car. The only spots left were a couple of water spots. Not going to complain. All in all I'd recommend. read more

From the moment I pulled up I was greeted with a positive upbeat aloha vibe that couldn't have been more enjoyable. Was sad to be leaving this island and the guy who was washing at the front really just made my afternoon! He was jamming out dancing and working hard! Was getting my Turo cleaned up and this was the perfect location, close enough to the airport that if it rained it would be too noticeable lol (Hawaii for ya!) I used the vacuums to clean out the sand and did a light wipe down in the shaded cleaning stalls provided by the facility. Would recommend this spot. 10/10. read more

We came before 10am on a Monday and they were having a deal we're we could get the second level car wash for $12. The only reason I'm not giving full stars is because the boy doing the quick lather part at the beginning gave us attitude when we weren't moving up yet because we were waiting for the payment guy to give us our change. The vacuum that we used was also pretty weak and didn't get a good portion of the sand. It's also $2 (quarters only) for 2 minutes. Which for our small Prius was not even enough time. So if you have a bigger car, be prepared with plenty of quarters to keep buying vacuum time! read more

Got into a bit of red mud on the vehicle in Kauai, well actually a lot of mud (long story; see Yelp review for C&D towing). Anyhow, wanted to try to clean the rental minivan up a little before turning it in. Sudz to the rescue! A little tricky to find, but right near the Costco in Lihue on the way to the airport. Went for the $10 Basic+ wash. You drive in; they hand power wash you, then you ride on the conveyor belt. In and out in less than 3 minutes. Friendly service. 3 options: $8, $10 and $12. I like sudz car wash. It doesn't scratch my car and going thru the wash is an excitement for my son. The employees there are friendly and they do a scrub down on your vehicle before entering the wash. The thing I like about this car wash is that they don't call it "Sudz" for no reason. It really gives you a good amount of soap. Towards the end of your wash, your tires get a shine. They have a punch card for every time you get a wash. The tenth is free. The only downfall on this is that you don't get the wash you pay for. So if you get "The Works" which costs you $13.00 and you get it for 9 times, your 10th free one will be a wash and dry only. That's the cheapest one. Eh lose money!!! Other than that, we love this place. read more

We drove out to Poli Hale after it had been raining for two weeks. Yes not necessarily smart but we only had so many days on the island. We avoided the mud as much as we could. We probably encountered more sand than we would have preferred. We knew with a rental we needed to recover from our experience before returning the vehicle. Sudz was written up as being an amazing car wash and one that would work with you (as best they could) to clean up vehicle. The cost was $50. Think we spoke/worked with owner who was professional and honest. Note: Sudz has to do extra maintenance and cleaning of their facility to recover from cleaning the red mud and sand off cars and the few for returning wo this care is over $200. read more

Tim and the team here are INCREDIBLE! I rented a jeep for 2 weeks and **had a lot of fun**... I think there were places I had more mud + sand than mopar on the jeep =} It is 18 bucks for the highest tier wash (+3 bucks for undercarriage). When I pulled up, these guys were AWESOME. They have a crew of 3 guys with heavy scrubbing brushes and a power washer to prep the car before it goes through the wash system. As the inside of the jeep also had mud & sand, I changed my mind from the $21 (18+3) package and paid a total of $39 for Sudz to completely vacuum and detail the inside of the car- they even put a few "new car scent" packets in the car. After they finished, Tim came up and introduced himself and told us that we shouldn't leave unless we were "completely satisfied." These guys worked wonders on our jeep- $39 is a SMALL price to pay versus the $150 - 300 charge our rental company would bill us for cleaning out all the "fun" we had with our jeep.
