We had a bad experience getting our dog's nails trimmed with Lauren at Club Doggie Grooming…read more The first thing that seemed odd when I contacted Lauren was that her business advertised mobile grooming, but she explained that she has her own grooming suite and she doesn't do mobile grooming. Her website indicated that she has over 15 years of experience, but our time receiving services showed a different level of professionalism from Lauren. When we arrived we brought both dogs in just for nail trimming. We have gone to other places and never had any issues with our dogs getting them done. She made multiple negative comments about our choice of vests we use for our dogs. Another problem we had was I indicated we were only there for nail trims and she insisted they get their ears cleaned even though I explained they just received baths and ear cleaning at home. This also lead to her pouting because we didn't want her spraying human perfume on our dogs which she still ultimately did. She trimmed one of our dogs nails too short, which led to bleeding. My husband and I are pretty understanding, knowing this is something that happens but she kept blaming our dog for it. When she was working on the second dog she mostly was able to grind her nails but when getting one of the dew claws she was forcing the dog into an uncomfortable position and our dog snipped at her. She then proceeded to grab the back of our dogs neck and scream at her. She then made a comment to our dog saying she made her mom a liar because she snipped even though she has never acted that way with other groomers/vettechs. She claims this occurred because we were watching, but seeing how she treated our dog I would never be comfortable leaving them alone with her. Due to this experience we will not be returning to get any further services. I do not recommend getting any services with Club Doggie Mobile Grooming!
