So my father needed to have his dog's nails clipped, and Tara was parked across the street from his house and he said go over and ask him how much. I went over and asked him how much they came over with in about 15 minutes the dogs were done in about 10 minutes her daughter collected some grapefruit and some oranges from our trees the dogs were happy, and they did an absolutely phenomenal job on these pooches!I only wish that their service was available where I live in Austin Texas! So, I used tara's service and everything seemed great when I got my dog back. After looking at his haircut he looked very uncomfortable. He kept licking his private parts and I noticed they were very red like rashes. I was very sad and upset that she cut more than she was supposed to. His privates were swollen, over cut and red. After a few weeks later I start to notice my puppies eye a different color. I took him to the vet and turns out he has a cataract and may need surgery. Which everything had always been fine with his vision never been in a fight with any other animals. I really believe it happened at that horrible grooming day. I regret putting my puppy through this ordeal and Tara's service. Please take your pet to Petco or any other professional place. read more

I wanted to try out a new dog groomer that came to my home because it seemed more convenient than going to Petco, dropping my dog off, and then going back to pick him up. Not to mention having to clean my car after because of all the shedding! We decided to go with Tara's Elegant Pet grooming service because she had good reviews! When Tara arrived to my house this morning to groom my German Shepard she showed up on time and was very nice. My pup took to her right away. She was very professional and offered me various packages with different prices. Before she took my Shepard into her van she realized that her a/c wasn't working, but the problem was resolved quickly and she got to work. It took a few hours for the job to be completed, but my dog came out looking better than ever! We paid for him to get the works and a trim down so he could stay cool during the summer heat. His nails were perfectly trimmed and for being a German Shepard my family and I were surprised at how good his coat looked after it was shaved! Tara personally returned my call that evening and we set an appointment for her to come to my home last Saturday and groom Jake, my Golden Retriever. Tara and her partner came to our house today to groom both our dogs. My husband and I are very careful with the pandemic and although they were not initially wearing masks, the moment I asked, they happily obliged and made sure to wear a mask every other time they approached me which was awesome. I have to admit, I've been VERY nervous to take our dogs to a groomer. The whole time she was here I was panicked that they were being misbehaved or stressed out with such a new thing! However, our sheepadoodle gets so matted that I couldn't help him anymore and he needed a professional. She took such great care of them and even sent me photos and kept me in the loop during the grooming process (I think she could tell I was nervous!)
