Can't believe I waited so long. First noticed the restaurant when I read about their efforts to get Coke products at their fountain. I thought someone with that discerning taste deserved my patronage. Enjoyed their posts on Facebook read their specials but since I rarely eat out, failed to go. Tried their vegetarian option Greek Salad. The greens were fresh as well as the tomatoes and cucumbers (skin peeled) the cheese complemented the vegetables not overpowering, and the dressing an excellent blend of oil, vinegar and herbs. I've twice tried the eatery. My first time through I ordered the pastrami. It was a very good sandwich. I was impressed. This time I ordered a Notorious PIG. This sandwich was not very good. The pork was hot but the ham was ice cold. The bacon was also raw (I pulled it out and threw it away). The sandwich is supposed to be hot. With the cold ham the cheese wasn't melted at all. I'll rate the pastrami a 5 and the PIG a 2. The portions are excellent. They're priced right. Soda is where they get ya. $4 for a medium fountain soda is a bit egregious. Outstanding sandwich shop hidden in north woods of Michigan-Wisconsin border. Ordered the Italian Meat Beast sandwich. It was amazing in flavor and was massive. I only could eat half the sandwich. The bread was not dry and the portion of meat was plentiful and the sauces were delicious. Reminds me of a New York style deli-sandwich shop. Looking forward to my next visit and sandwich. Could not accommodate a request for chicken even though they serve chicken on their taco salad. This cute Bistro has Ann Arbor vibes complete with artist wares that caught my eye. The unbelievably tasty food competes,(imo,) with the likes of Zingerman's in Ann Arbor, or Mudgie's in Detroit. I had the delicious BLT, which was unlike any other BLT I've ever had. It was that great! Thick sliced soft home made multigrain bread, filled with mouthwatering crispy bacon, tomatoes, bright greens, and a sauce that was so extremely delicious. Portion: HUGE! I am saving the other half for tomorrow. Spencer got the meatloaf sandwich, which was "the best sandwich I've ever had.,"per someone who has sampled some of the best sandwiches in Seattle, Chicago and Detroit. What a gem!! Master Chef Paul Sardinia is an award winning Chef whose culinary style and menu, is something I'd expect to see in NYC, Chicago, or the culinary scene in Detroit.
