i purchased the lot and plans in November, the sale man knew i was disabled, on the window…read moreaccording to Plainfield and Hendricks county the home was supposed to be started Dec 5th, they did not start on it until feb,2023. according to the book from del web 4vphase of the home. we were supposed to met with a design team aty the ware house in carmal the salesmen was finished, he lied to 6 people that i would have the biggest lot and no home built in the back or next to me. they are not following the ADA act, pultue homes fired three contractor managers with in three months i have not heard from any. . according to the last one my house was supposed to be done in thr end of april. noe they saying June or july. . waiting for them to get finished is causing me money every day i have people internet oin buying my old home, they are building spec homes faster then getting mine done according to hendrickd county a paid customer should get the home done and the choose they want starting with the inside and exterior. the hiuse not have all shingles on on the garage door installed and the diswasher looks like it crushed sand damage, and the shower walls are cracked and the flu lrft open and rain got into fire place i have picture to prove it. they only paint the entire one color on the inside according to the Indiana hiousing you have two plus a full fished attic with stairs and all appliance you choose the height of the cabinet. the lighting. the house must be ada approved, what they told 6 people that when the house gets done i can higher my own grew to get the things i need , which should be done in the firdt place. they also lied because 10 people got told the model and all spec homes will not be sold untul September. we made an offer for the model that looks my home before they sold it, noe we found out all model homes for sale. they refused to get my house done and help a disabled person beside last week they sent thier men on vacation, we drive into every day and the spec homes done my has not been touched. the headquaters here in indiana Georgia. refused to help. my sister wrnt to del wem headquarters in az took picture they are not pleased. according to hendricks county, they have two weeks to fix the mistakes and get my house finished. and the price of the home is discounted every day they are late, they need to keep what they say and what the second contractor said. so go through neighbor hood talk to the people. i have contact my senator and he knows the problems and looking into it. find why thry lied, and have not gert my home done, in indiana each ousing project has four months from the date of purchase and they signed it with the county and state

The manager is not nice at all. They were incredibly rude to my mother about my grandmother, who suffered from dementia. There was zero personal connection with any of the tenants. The nurse on staff did not want to accommodate any needs and advised you to seek outside services. I have found tenants wandering and lost, when I told the staff no one cared and were rude sending them back. The entire moving out process was horrible and not accommodating especially since we had lost a loved one. They will nickel and dime every little thing. I would certainly not advise anyone to send their loved ones.

Corporate Headquarters- impossible to talk to- they either don't call back or you get transferred to an incorrect extension. You also have to give 2 MONTHS notice prior to moving. My father has had to move to a different facility, due to declining health. However, my mother is unable to leave for 2 months since financially they can't afford 2 apartments. This is the first time they have been apart in 66 years! I spoke to the manager and was told, there are 100 sob stories, but in the end, it's a business. So if you chose to move here, be sure to review your contract and I would take the time to check on other facilities.

While in Indianapolis this weekend, I went with my friend to visit her mother who recently became a…read moreresident of Independence Village in Avon. I was impressed from the minute I walked in the door. The receptionist was so welcoming, and she and my friend had a great conversation upon entering. The first thing I noticed was how clean the facility is (it was recently freshly painted) and how wide the hallways are, which allows easy access for walkers, etc. We went up to her mother's one bedroom apartment on the third floor and it was a good size for one person, complete with kitchen facilities and a big bathroom. (There are studios, and one- and two-bedroom apartments and I was able to see all of them on my visit.) While walking the hallways, I noticed the colorful artwork on the walls, the theater, the library, the activities center and several other amenities that indicated to me this was more a community than a "nursing home". It is quite a cheerful and friendly atmosphere. We then went down to lunch and sat with her and another resident. They both stated the food was quite good and they liked the selections provided for each meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The dining room is spacious, and the staff is amazing, friendly and interactive. While sitting in the dining room, the Director, Sue, came to the table to talk to her residents and we had a pleasant conversation also. I told her how impressed I was with this facility, and she thanked me, but also thanked me for allowing her to administer to "our loved ones that we put in her care". I was impressed! Sue definitely is dedicated and takes special pride in making sure the residents are well cared for and happy. If you are looking for a place to care for your loved ones when the time comes, I suggest you look no further than this facility. It really is top-notch! It also has a Memory Care facility. Although I did not visit that section, my friend said it is just as impressive.

Primarily the food disappointed me because this facility is mainly for assisted living. It was classified as sub acute rehabilitation by my insurance company. They denied me for acute rehabilitation which was my preference as well as my doctors at the hospital. Since the majority of patients here for assisted living, I felt the amount of staff was not high enough to meet the standard needs of the assisted living patients. This facility had a very adequate therapy gym room. The therapy staff were very thorough, helpful and supportive.
