Also, the lovely spa staff gave me a quick tour of the space with no hesitation although I did not have a service booked due to time constraints. Thank you to the concierge who loaded everything into my Lyft, the team member who brought the Ulta order I had DoorDashed up to my door when I was too exhausted to grab it, and Rachel and Abraham for sharing all the exciting resort activities, even though I didn't have time to participate. And a special thanks to Diego at Trick Rider, who took wonderful care of me and boxed up some incredible carrot cake that I was too stuffed to eat at the restaurant, along with the manager there. Upon checking in, we were greeted with a complimentary drink and free WiFi. Karina handled our check-in and was absolutely wonderful--extremely amicable, professional, and the perfect example of excellent customer service. The Atmosphere & Unique Daily Themes One of the coolest features of this hotel is the daily theme hosted in the lobby: Day 1: A complimentary snack cart stocked with chips, candy, and water. Day 2: A fun trail mix station. A bourbon and burger event offered at a very reasonable cost. On our second day, we interacted with Rashad, who was also the absolute epitome of customer service. The staff here truly goes above and beyond. The Rooms & Amenities The rooms are incredibly large, spacious, and well-designed. Our room faced the mini-field at The Star adjacent to the hotel. Even though the hotel was completely at full capacity during our stay, the room was remarkably quiet. The soundproofing is top-notch. The bathroom was equally spacious. We did have one minor hiccup where a provided bath towel was visibly dirty, but the staff handled it flawlessly, immediately exchanging it for fresh linens the next morning. The pool area is beautiful, and both the bartenders and pool attendants were incredibly attentive and quick with their service. Dining & Events We spent some time at Neighbors, the on-site bar and restaurant, and sat on the patio to people-watch. There are also plenty of other great restaurants within short walking distance. As for the birthday celebration, the event space was stunning. The decor leading up to and outside of the ballroom was beautiful and incredibly well-executed. The event food and drinks were great overall; the only minor drawback was that the fries were a bit too salty, but the rest of the meal was delicious. A Special Highlight As an added bonus, Samuel L. Jackson was filming a spinoff of Tulsa King right when we arrived! Despite the production hustle and bustle, the hotel staff did a seamless job of accommodating regular guests and maintaining a premium experience. We had difficulty getting someone to come and open doors despite having instructions on time frames we needed rooms. One of the rooms we had till midnight one day, was taken over by cleaning crew almost 2 hours before we were even supposed to be out. We had a room near the lobby and outside people kept coming in, I had to tell 3 different people, in which the last person saw it first hand and handled it luckily but things just weren't done in a timely fashion. Now to talk about the room... let me just say, it's clean, it has everything you need for a stay but it is not a wow factor, nor does it impress you. For the amount of money you are spending per night at the this place, you at least expect some decent tv service. The shower has 1 sliding door that honestly does nothing to stop the water from splashing out onto the tile. The lamps in my room closest to the beds didn't even work. The closet wouldn't fully close which made the light stay on. And the toilet required you to flush several times just to get the toilet paper to go down. The room service is on very limited hours, but in top of that the restaurant has very limited and just ok meals. Overall just not impressed with this place whatsoever.

The shower head also had noticeable buildup, which made the whole "clean modern spa" look a bit less convincing up close. The beds looked perfectly crisp until you actually laid down. The comforter filling was bunched into strange, stiff lumps, like it had survived a long and difficult journey through an industrial dryer. Not exactly the cozy experience you hope for. None of this ruined the trip, and the hotel definitely has potential -- the style is there -- but right now it feels like a place where appearance got more attention than comfort and maintenance. I only stayed one night and moved to something a bit more polished. If you're after something that photographs well, this place delivers. Bedroom TV kept flickering but after multiple attempts my husband finally got it to work. Living room TV had this error message and we couldn't get it to work. Lighting and design in the rooms is terrible unless you like waking others to use the restroom in the middle of the night or walking through dark rooms to turn on lights. No working water in the whole building for a short time the next day. Later we had no hot water in our sink or shower. After maintenance came to verify they moved us rooms. But only after we were required to pack all our stuff and drag to lobby to lug back up to 3rd floor. New room had no working phone and no mini-fridge. We had no way to keep medication cold. We were never compensated for our room upgrade. Was actually told the hotel was sold out so that's why they couldn't, but the Hilton app would have allowed me to book our same room for the night. Sold out meant 30 cars in the parking lot that night. Manager has not returned our calls. Generic response via email. This is not the expectation as Hilton Honors members who at one point were Diamond members. Exposed pipes in ceiling means you can hear all of the neighbors running water at all hours. A/C unit is louder than usual hotel in a room full of concrete. Stained mattress, poorly made beds, uncomfortable beds, light switches across the room, broken fixtures, dirty showers, no dresser, no mini fridge, no working phone in room - a huge safety issue! Do yourself a favor and not stay here. Even under construction there are things about this hotel that are terrible. Design being the biggest. Photos are deceiving. The concept is modern but it feels like a low end concrete efficiency apartment lacking basic things like towel hooks, mini fridge, good lighting. The elevator doors are enclosed behind a wall with steel doors. Seems like a fire hazard nightmare. We were told there's only one way in and out of the hotel. That also seems sketchy and a safety issue.

Then when I tried to pay on Monday he attempted to charge me $40 late fee . I've watched as a TON of people have cleared out of this place all due to the Manager Bud. He's rude and has absolutely no Management experience. According to the Owner he was in a coma for 7 years and lost his ability to know when he's being ugly ‍. My yard was not taken care of, my neighbor mowed it for me. It's very sad to see a place like this deteriorate all due to poor Management. I truly hope Mr. Bud is fired and someone with knowledge and customer service skills is hired. Until then...... join me and about 4 other people that moved because of Bud at Austin Ranch next door. They offer self park for $23 a night (May 2026) or valet for $45. We did self park. The lobby is very attractive and melds into the lounge area. We were greeted immediately at check in and the process was very easy. In terms of the room, our room (two queen beds) was definitely on the small size. It was functional but certainly one of the smallest rooms I have experienced in Dallas. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean and the carpet was not stained. The shower had a very strong water flow and was a sufficient size for one person. Overall, it is a very nice hotel. There is lounge and restaurant. The pool was supposed to be heated but in May the water was cold. The pool area has a small bar but beer options are quite limited. The best thing about the hotel is its excellent location. You are literally steps from Legacy West with the row of seemingly endless eating and shopping options. Having parked in the hotel lot, there was no need to drive and fight for scarce parking along the street. The reason for 4 stars is that at night we could hear loud music. I am guessing it came from a nearby bar or restaurant. The noise was loud enough to notice but not so obnoxiously loud as to prevent sleep. Still, the preference would be for quiet.

It also makes you wonder how they get away with what they're charging??? And don't even get me started on the attitude of the serving staff who were hard to find and ultimately condescending, not to mention rude (except the omelette guy).
