I traveled…read moreto the center from out of state, on the recommendation of an acquaintance, seeking help with severe depression and anxiety. At first, the treatment felt great. I was happier than I had been in a long time. I loved the light bed and the energy work. The staff was nice. But the problems didn't become clear to me until years after I had completed treatment and returned home. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the theta chamber. I know it is well-intended. And it does its job, but it does it out of the context of the whole human experience. It encourages "normal" levels of neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin. This sounds like a good thing, but those neurotransmitters help you interpret your life experiences--what behaviors should be rewarded and which ones should be avoided. In my case, the theta chamber treatment threw me so far out of balance I wasn't aware of it until years later. Things may have changed in the last 5 years since I received treatment. However, I would recommend caution when choosing any method that would treat one part of you in isolation of others. And by "others," I mean the habits, relationships, environments, and life experiences that play a part in shaping you to be the person you have become. I'm in a good place and happy with my progress. I found other options that work well for me. And I hope the same for all those who are looking for healing and balance!

I've come across over 50 therapists since childhood... and the ones at Holistic Elements really do their best and beyond. They do not allow fluorescent lighting (for ambience and calming reasons) so they have it set up in the waiting room, front desk and therapy rooms with window lighting, lamps, waterfalls, tranquil music, snacks and drinks for every visit, blankets, pillows, soft couches, an amazing selection of outstanding therapists, very kind and caring front desk workers... my therapist, Heidi, is absolutely wonderful, to the point, in depth, understanding, and very genuine. Many, if not all, these therapists, have some sort of fidget toys, stuffed animals or art related items to utilize while in a session. My couples therapist, Krista, is incredibly smart, genuine, fun and helpful. I go in twice a week due to couples and individual therapy, so I know how it is first hand, so of course I highly recommend this place to so many people. They take in all ages and genuinely care about your well being. Please consider doing therapy here. There's so many different therapists to choose from too!

My son had a very strange reaction to the ketamine on his last appointment. It was just not set up like a professional clinic. Had several different calls over there in the last 3 days. Someone different every time. Deborah was the worst. Very rude, unprofessional and would constantly talk over you when you were in the middle of telling her some thing. This morning I asked a simple question, "do family members get a discount for having a family member as a vet?" She replied "are they the one coming in to the clinic?!" I told her no but I thought I was told the day before by someone else that a family member could get a discount if a close family member was a vet. She said "NOBODY TOLD YOU THAT!!" I snapped back that "someone certainly did, do you think I just pulled it our of thin air??" she said it again, said the same thing! This lady is off her rocker! I said "I have to go" in which SHE hung up on me. I have NEVER talked to anyone whose scheduling clients, (and mind you, for a type of treatment clinic like this is... people who are calling to get help with severe anxiety and depression etc; )are being treated this way??? I spoke with a woman with an accent as well a few days ago that took 5 tries to just get my email right. It was exhausting trying to even have a conversation with her. When I asked Michelle the NP about the urine testing that they do as we've never had to do that before and in calling around this is not some thing most of these clinics do unless during intake the doctor feels suspicious about the person and feels a need to. I spoke with 6 clinics today, highly rated that said that don't do this. I told her the clinic my daughter has been going to for a year has never done this. She said "aren't you worried!" NOPE! Michelle was very defensive right from the getgo, instead of asking questions and even trying to understand I'm not! as this is not normal practice. unless you have a druggy looking person walking through the door(you can usually tell, it's obvious). But that unprofessional comment back and rudeness of these people. I will NEVER EVER go back there. PLEASE LOOK AT THEIR REVIEWS. PEOPLE ARE SAYING THE SAME THING! The Deborah lady who is the receptionist is a real piece of work and needs to be gone. She is not helping this business. Thank God we saw who these people working there were for who they are. My son who was going to get treated was sitting by me when I was talking with Deborah and when I hung up said "it doesn't sound like a very nice place mom, I don't want to go and I'm not giving them a urine sample like I'm getting drug tested, this is weird". We are going to another clinic that is almost half the price!! And so kind and compassionate. I like Dr. Himstree and hope he can get this group figured out working there. He's a very nice person but my goodness, run if you are looking for a team of compassionate caring and professional people!!! This isn't it. It was shocking.
