First, the space is beautiful, it's comfortable and not the "hip sterile environment" that a lot of spas go for (don't get me wrong, it's incredibly clean!). Both ladies were very kind and welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. Jill was very attentive and her bubbly personality is sincere and is so refreshing. I had a deluxe facial and loved every minute! This is by far the best facial I've had! I was so relaxed I could hardly believe it. I've moved around a great deal and have always utilized this type of service. Thus, I've had plenty of experience (sugar, hard, cloth strips, tweezing...all that fun stuff). It seems that most of those "waxing" in Bend, use hard wax versus wax with cloth strips. The end result (in my experience) has been it takes longer (one must wait for the wax to harden), it leaves more wax residue (ugh...), it doesn't pull out the hair as well (I was told it works better for those "hard to get" areas...meh!), and really isn't any more comfortable (I've been told it's not supposed to hurt as much...there's just no getting past that part). Luckily, Jill uses cloth strips (what I'm used to, and has always seemed to work the best) and I must say....there was not one bit of waxy residue and there wasn't a single stray hair to be found. I was in and out in a jiffy and couldn't be happier. I can't recommend Jill highly enough! If a Brazilian is what you're looking for...well....this is the place!

Also their price for a kids haircut according to that website was cheaper than most places. We were running 5 minutes late on an icy day so it's not like we could drive any faster. Plus anyone knows having young kids could mean getting out the house later than planned. Well I called to let them know we were running just a few minutes late and the person who answered basically said "well hurry because I have an appointment right after". We rushed and I was basically a hot mess, even almost getting hit by a car in the parking lot, dropping our kid's shoes on the street as I carried her running into the salon. I did not want to miss our appointment because it was much needed. As we rushed into the salon, the lady we had an appointment with Sonja) and another hair stylist were staring at us and I had this feeling they were talking about me. This made me feel weird and self conscious and embarrassed.
