Someone down below said sometimes it gets five stars from there and sometimes, not so much. That is reflected in the overall rating, it seems. I gave it four stars overall because when they're on, it's a great place to eat. I am not an overall fan of pizza, but I love the pepperoni pizza from here. Most of the time I get a fried chicken sandwich with homestyle fries (they have to be homestyle) and it is excellent. Tonight was busier than expected for a Monday, but I do worry about them keeping this store open. They once had others in Gaston and Pelion, but the one in Swansea is the last one currently open. There's not a lot of ride by traffic at its location unless you see the sign and turn off of 321 to check it out. We started with the fried pickles, a favorite appetizer that we get there. Tonight, they were overfried and hard to eat. I got a Chef Salad and it was good as always. It was very fresh and crisp and the ranch dressing, which I believe is homem made, was excellent as always.
