Had a shroom and onion burger with onion rings. Little mix up with my order when fry's accompanied the burger, but was quickly corrected with a side order of onion rings arriving. It has a‼C inspection rating‼which should've been the 1st red flag (see photo of the C and food quality). It started off with us calling to place a Togo order, they were out of smoked chicken and collards. The woman on the line (will not disclose her name out of respect) did not know the menu. We asked what's better, country fried steak or chicken. She said "idk I've never tried them". She had to ask others if it even came with gravy on it. We then got a pulled pork plate and they said it was the last order. I was excited thinking that meant it was good but now I see why. THEY USE LIQUID SMOKE. You can tell by the extremely dry quality of meat and the taste was awful even our dog wouldn't consume it. My entire pulled pork plate+ 3sides smelled like liquid smoke, so disgusting. The white gravy had a sour taste to it on my mom's plate. It was my last meal during a family vacation and I honestly wish we just went to Rushs instead of this. The total was $57 and such a waste, I'm genuinely surprised it was so packed. None of the plates came with bread either btw. Save your body from possible sickness and do not eat here. Go to Just Us Cafe instead, it's 1000% better quality and they have the best prices in town. read more

I ordered Spaghetti and meatballs with side salad and garlic bread. Unfortunately the side salad was not fresh, but refrigerator burnt. They use a sub sandwich roll for garlic bread. The meatballs were acceptable, not Italian and not grilled on the grill as in a previous restaurant I attended. The red sauce was a bit too spicy for my liking. I've been to Italy and do not remember their red gravy being spicy. The chef needs to review Italian recipes further. My spouse had the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with French fries. She said the sandwich was better than a popular restaurant in downtown Lexington. There is room for improvement, but an acceptable meal. read more

Friday nite, March 20th about 6:15 My wife and I simply wanted to go out for a burger and a beer. Long week. . just be left alone. Farmhouse is 10 minutes from our home, which we've lived in for the last 4 years. We sit outside at a table of 4, which we separated into 2 tables of two. We wanted others to have a place for themselves. We place our order and the Friday night music bingo is going to start at 6:30. This older, gentleman sits down at that table next to us and asks "Do you live here?" We don't know him. . we don't wanna know him, we just want a burger and a beer. "No" my wife replies and he continued to talk towards me, I didn't make eye contact nor said a word to him. His wife shows up and our food arrives. My wife got a burger and I a fish sandwich. I'm talking with my wife when I see this white cloud go past her face. I look over and this "guy" and his wife are both vaping. Just got our food and now it stinks. My wife points to a sign on the front door "No Smoking - No Vaping" so I raise my hand trying to get the attention of a waitress when this "man" says "You got a problem??!" To which I replied, "yes, the sign clearly says no vaping and it's blowing in our face". He replies "Well, that sign is meant for inside. . anyway. . you don't live here . . so go f#ck yourself" I tell him No, the sign is for outside you little a$$hole" You need to understand this "man" is all of 5 foot, wearing therapeutic socks with scabs on his legs, and he's obese. He thought he was a BMOC. He gets up and says "I'll take care of this!" and walks to the DJ and says" There's going to be a problem", the DJ looks at me. He turns the corner and goes to the bar and gets the manager. She comes over and stands between our tables, she knew I was about to pounce. We explained that we just got our food and their vapor was blowing directly at us and I see a sign . . She stops me and said "Yes, that sign is new, there's no smoking or vaping allowed" Pudgy boy who was on the verge of getting a bottle to the side of the head is stone quiet. His wife puts her vape in her purse and says "It's gone now" The manager explains because the "Sign is new. . .it's not really being enforced yet!" Someone please explain to me how much "grace" period is there for a new sign/rule. Is it the lack of education and reading that people like him are given a grace period?? She tells them not to vape anymore. The manager offers to buy our dinner. We refused the offer. It's not her fault this couple can't read. We ate the food so we will pay our bill. The staff was nice, pleasant and pretty fast considering the crowd. We actually tipped the waitress $8 for a $25 dollar tab. None of this was their doing, it was the fat little troll who thought he owned the place. It's sad when a little man like him, thinks my wife and I should not be allowed to eat there because "we don't live here" It's clear to us the South Carolina Education system has failed this "man" and his wife. What a great find! Nice small country grill with a surprisingly good size menu. They have plates with one meat and 3 vegetables, and a variety of sandwiches, wings, burgers and hot dogs. They also serve a hearty breakfast I had the chicken Philly and fries he had country fried chicken and vegetables. I have eaten at Farmhouse Grill many many times alone and with my family and the food was always really good. I have had the pulled pork plate or the sandwich on most of my visits. Tonight was a different story my to go pulled pork plate consisted of a table spoon of peas that tasted like vinegar , table spoon of coleslaw and 2 table spoons of mashed potatoes and gravy but the worst part was the supposedly pulled pork, it was chunks of some type of pork that was mostly pieces of fat that was really tough and I could not chew. My husbands country fried steak was no better. I am very disappointed in our food today and I probably will not be going back for a long time. $33.00 down the drain. Do better Farmhouse Grill!!!! What a great and lucky find. We just happened to ask our phone for a dinner near us. We missed breakfast time but we certainly weren't disappointed by the lunch. The chef's salad is very large and prepared with grilled or fried chicken instead of turkey. The cheese burger was easily 1/2 pound and very good. Our waitress, Hope was terrific and we had not been in a good mood when we got there, she would have changed that.
