Amazing service provider with excellent products for home use. I can't recommend this place enough. It is painful at first but if you keep going it is true that it is not such a big deal. You can also gradually work up to doing larger areas over time. This is the first location that I have ever seen that is handicap accessible. I really want to try their home sugaring kits but haven't been brave enough! These are super professional people there and the customer service is great. The app is designed well too. Have been coming here for sugaring since I moved to the area 3 years ago. Overall, I like the salon, it's clean and the girls are nice. However, it's hit or miss how good the service is depending on who is doing it. You can't request anyone specific, so you just get whatever specialist they schedule you with. Some do a great, thorough job, others I have had to come home and do a clean up myself (like my appt this past Saturday). They already include 18% gratuity (which I have no problem with) and they don't really give you an opportunity to check the area before the specialist cleans her stuff up and walks out. I really feel like with all that, there really is no incentive for the specialist to do a good or thorough job because regardless they get their tip and clients. I wish you could request a specific specialist so you have consistent results like most other places, and you can choose tip perfectage so that the girls have some kind of incentive to do a good job. Again, the issue is not gratuity or the percentage, I just feel like my results have been inconsistent. I shouldn't have to come home and get my own wax kit ready if I am already paying someone else for the service. UPDATE: Heather from the Dana Point location called me within a couple days and was really nice and understanding. She definitely made the situation right and I felt welcome to go back. Will continue going to this location for their amazing customer service and willingness to improve. read more

I've been coming here for almost 2 yrs and have never had a bad experience until recently. I booked online and realize you can't choose your gal... but I had a horrible experience with a newbie who obviously did NOT have enough experience. 3 weeks of training is all they get and then they are 'professionals'?!! The procedure took 45 minutes (I'm usually in and out in 20) and was extremely painful; I almost walked out. Deciding if I want to continue my monthly subscription... the only reason I'm giving 3 stars is this was the first really bad experience I've had. read more

Stephanie and Heather are awesome when it comes to sugaring and pay attention to close details and make the experience fast and as comfortable as possible. I feel very comfortable when they sugar me and are careful to some tender spots i have. :) Sweet ladies and very friendly :) Memberships are the way to go here to keep consistent (with sugaring) and take advantage of better pricing. I am very disappointed and frustrated with the poor customer service at this location. I showed up at 9:40pm for my confirmed 9:40pm appointment, and was met with a closed, locked door and a dark, empty business. I even tried calling to see if maybe they were in the back, but there was no answer on their provided phone #. I did have (1) single missed phone call from S+B from earlier that afternoon, but I hadn't called back because (A) I was asleep (I work night shifts) and (B) there was no voicemail left or any additional missed calls -- it's quite common for the staff to call same-day and request that you move your appointment to earlier (if they have a large gap between appointments, which is honestly really annoying), so I hadn't called back as I assumed that was what they were calling for. Other than that - no voicemail, no text message, no email, not even a cancelled appointment in their booking system - ZERO contact to inform me that the business would be closed during my previously confirmed appointment time. I even checked as I was standing there, and sure enough, my appointment still says "confirmed" in their system. As someone who has a membership here, works night shifts, and lives 30 minutes away from the location, this was a really disappointing and aggravating experience. To be honest, the service here was mediocre to begin with, I had continued to book with them only because it's the best price in the area. I'll be cancelling my membership and taking my business elsewhere, even if that means paying a few extra bucks to ensure that the business is actually open when I show up to a confirmed appointment, which is the LEAST they can do. PS: Consider asking your staff to stop calling clients and asking them to move their appointment same-day. I booked the time I chose because that's the time I can be there. I shouldn't have to be subjected to guilt-inducing phone calls that your technicians will be bored in between appointments. If that's really such an issue, I would suggest maybe not offering appointment times until 11pm if they don't want to be open that late. read more

I've been going to sugar and bronzed west 3 LA location since 2016 and my tans have ALWAYS been flawless. I just moved to south OC and went to this location in Dana point and my tan is awful. My sugaring was amazing and she was so sweet but my tan is orange and some spots on my body are still the color I was pre tan which is making it look like I missed spots. My legs aren't the same shade as each other and are blotchy. My back is completely white , as if I didn't get sprayed there. My neck and collarbone area has build up and just spots that were missed completely. I'm hoping this was just a one time thing but I'm so embarrassed to even go outside with this tan. read more

Went for a sugaring today and had a great experience. The salon is clean with a warm atmosphere. My sugarist was friendly, professional, and super fast! A brazillian took about 20 minutes when normally I take 30. My only note is that they should include a step stool (or make it more obvious if I missed it) I'm 5' 2" and I had to hop quite a bit to get on the table. read more

I highly recommend S&B for their spray tanning service. I think it is super worth the price. The whole process is quick and easy and the results are great. I went with a level 3 and it turned out so nicely and stayed on well over a week even with frequent showering. Shannon was so good! This is my second visit to S&B and just wanted to say how beautiful my tan is! I love #2 which gives me a sun-kissed glow and masks the imperfections like my varicose veins. The girls are extremely professional and make me feel comfortable striking various poses in the nude haha. One suggestion is to have the rooms a bit warmer.
