After having my son nearly 4 years ago, I had so much hair loss (that's been growing in ever since..) Tanya was able to see the new growth and help plan a cut to help hide and assist those baby hairs to blend in. She has an awesome ability to know what cuts look good based on your face shape. I tend to do more bright colors/highlights and it always come out amazing and beautiful. Tanya is also a great conversationalist, even from the first meet, it's never been uncomfortable or trying. She asked so many questions about what I wanted and we looked at pictures online together to make sure she had a clear understanding of my expectations. Not only do I love how my hair turned out but she also took the time to educate me by providing styling tips, product recommendations, and hair treatments. Folks need to know how awful this place is. I had a truly awful experience at Hello Sugar in Boulder. I booked my appointment online and arrived a few minutes early, but was left waiting for 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment, because the esthetician was running behind. When I asked to reschedule due to the delay, she had the audacity to tell me that I should be charged a late cancellation fee, even though I was on time and she was the one who was late. When I pointed this out, she dismissed me and refused to reschedule my appointment altogether. Her excuse? That she couldn't control other clients running late or if their appointment takes longer than what's allotted. While that may be true, it's not an excuse for poor time management or for not having policies in place to handle these situations. She didn't apologize for her delay, instead getting defensive and telling me I shouldn't have booked if I was on a tight schedule -- despite the fact that I would've been perfectly on time if she'd started at the scheduled hour. The attitude was rude and unprofessional, and the whole experience was a waste of time. I would not recommend this business to anyone.
