EWC tend to be convenient but there is not much to experience outside of that. This location is extremely dirty, I'm talking stains on the ceiling, and the staff is extremely uninterested. For a wax $70+ I feel a better experience can be had elsewhere. The waxer I've had I've introduced myself to and had the same conversation with too many times to count. She rushes you in and out (not even leaving the room for you to get undressed or dressed, very humiliating) and left a lot of hair. The wax is also harsher than others. You'll then be stared at for a 25% tip and berated to buy a package at checkout. read more

Unfortunately today Katelyn must have been having a bad day. Wax was good but chairside manner not so much. She seemed rushed like it was a bother to have me there. This was my second time at the EWC location, but I've been a client at a So Cal location for years, so I'm familiar with EWC. I booked my appointment via the app the evening before, and then showed up right on time for my 10:30am wax only to be told the appointment I booked was for the FOLLOWING week. Whoops. Jocelyn at the front desk was able to quickly book me into a 10:45 opening for that day, which was much appreciated. My waxer was Krystee, and I definitely recommend her! My appointment was for a Brazilian, and I explained to her that my first visit with Emily last month wasn't very thorough. Krystee did a great job making sure she got everything, she was friendly, and I'm not sure how much of a bummer it is to have a last minute Brazilian added to your scheduled, but if it bothered her at all, she didn't let it show. She was excellent and I will book future appointments with her. Also, the street parking in front of the business is metered, but the employees said the meters aren't in use, so it's free to park. There's also plenty of parking in the lot behind the business. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but it's been a week and I just had to say something. I got a Brazilian wax here and my experience was adequate until I got home. Let me explain. I've had several Brazilian waxes but this was my first experience at EWC. This was the second place I've been to where the cerologist stays in the room while you undress and lay on the table. Which is very weird for me and something I don't really feel comfortable with. Plus the lighting was incredibly harsh, like a classroom or supermarket. Actually I take that back--some supermarkets have very warm and mellow lighting these days. There was also no music playing. Maybe it's personal preference but I prefer the spa-like quality of EWC's competitors to help relax me for the impending trauma to my lady bits. The fact that my cerologist was wearing scrubs, and chatted while I stood awkwardly in the corner of the room waiting for her to leave for at least 5 minutes before she said I could undress, started me off on a bit of the wrong foot. But I'm trusting and my cerologist was very personable and friendly, so I went through with it. The wax experience itself was brief and didn't feel normal. I'm no expert but it felt like she spread enormous chunks of hard wax, to the point where she had to stop mid-pull and adjust her grip/change directions of the pull. It's hard to explain but her speed and direction changed mid pull, which is inconsistent with my past experiences. Then came what *should* be the best part (if you've had it done you know what I'm talking about)....the end....the REAR end. She literally half assed it. I can't explain more without getting super explicit but suffice it to say nothing was spread apart to "get all up in there" like it should've been. I went home to inspect and immediately noticed CLUMPS OF WAX STILL ON MY LADY BITS. Making them STICK TOGETHER. That's right folks. I had to pull SEVERAL dime -to-quarter sized wax bits off my most intimate parts myself. To top it all off, I came to notice that the areas of my nether regions I *most* needed waxed, were untouched. Let me be clear: I pay for Brazilians so I don't have to get a razor anywhere near those areas. And absolutely none of it was removed. This is a very long review and I'm sorry for the rant. I filled out the satisfaction survey immediately and favorably because they texted me a link as I was walking to my car, and I truly enjoyed chatting with my cerologist. But I felt that I needed to express my experience more fully. The discomfort of stripping down in front of her, the lack of music or relaxing lighting, all could be forgiven. But the mess I discovered when I got home (and the subsequent tears from having to wax myself), left a permanent mark on my experience. I will not be returning to EWC. Two stars for accessibility, new customer discount, and friendliness of staff. Negative stars for my actual wax experience, atmosphere, and paying for a service I didn't actually get. read more

I have been getting waxing services for many years. However, I have only been going here for the past 6 months. I have seen two different technicians both are good, professional, and make me feel comfortable. I stick with these two as one works an earlier schedule and one works a later schedule. So why only three stars. Well first off the online system doesn't allow me to cancel it forces me to call or wait for a confirmation text. Ugh! Second the front desk can be great or irritatingly inefficient and close to rude. I showed up for an appointment and was told the the person I scheduled with was not available. I would see someone else, but thought I should be notified if these situations occur. I was told rather briskly that I was called and a detailed voicemail was left. Hmm I played the voicemail for her and whattttttt - not a word about the change. Finally, parking and products. Parking can be a pain so plan for it. Products I appreciate not having products pushed on me, but it would be nice to know about those that could help with the ingrown hairs. I have mentioned the issue a few times and have never been really given a run down of what does what etc - just a try this - the end. read more

I get waxed here regularly and just love the service that is provided. I ended up getting a wax pass for my Brazilian area and I'm never disappointed. They are so thorough and professional. I rarely have pain with the wax that they use and the method of waxing. Ingrown hairs are not an issue for me anymore either which is GREAT! read more

If it's your first time, DONT go here. Felt very rushed and uncared for by Karla. She seemed to be having a bad day or was just over worked. Very cold attitude and direct from the beginning. The girls do an great job at waxing, all of their waxing techniques are different so you really have to see which is your style. Just putting 3 stars because there were two instances where I arrived 10min early for my waxes & I had to sit around 30min to be taken care of. This is my go to place for brazilian bikini waxing. They use a blue hard wax which is the only way to get a "pain-free" brazilian. The wax sticks to your hair and not your skin which makes it much less painful. I've been seeing Candace for over two years now and she is hands down the best. She's very thorough, sweet and kind. She takes her time and ensures every hair is gone. I'm usually done in 20 min or less which I'm super thankful for. The results last almost 7 weeks. I will preface by saying I'm not that hairy. I haven't been to anyone else but I've heard the rest of the staff is equally as good with long tenure and not a lot of turnover. I used to go to the Boulder location but this one is much better. The front desk is always very friendly and polite. There is plenty of parking in the back of the building and lots of shopping options afterwards. I will not go anywhere else! read more

I called this place and spoke with Kimmie, I asked if someone was available for a Brazilian & underarm waxing at a specific time on a specific date & she booked my appointment with Anjelica M. I was unfamiliar with the area and was driving around I couldn't find the place and so I called. Kimmie helped me find the store & while driving she checked me in. I enter the store to a cheerful lady who knew my name. I wanted for Anjelica to call me back in their waiting room. In the waxing room Anjelica made me feel comfortable and explained the process to me. I mentioned I was pregnant and she accommodated me by lifting up my back! The waxing session went smooth (no pun intended) and we conversed about other topics about the weather. She was friendly and sincere! When I visit again which will be soon I will definitely book an appointment with Anjelica.
