I am happy that I found Sugar Land electrolysis, I just wished that I had found Dr. Millik sooner but I found her when I needed to. I have been doing electrolysis for years and have tried almost all of the places in Houston and this is the only place you need to go! I have been seeing her for about a year and I think she is truly the last real electrolysis professional in Houston. She has cleared all of the areas and the scarring I had is fading. My face is clear and I just now go for fuzzies every few months but she is the best, no plucking, perfect settings every single time. I have been going to Dr. Millik for about a year now and am seeing amazing results. In the past, I had spent thousands and thousands on different laser hair treatments, waxing, hair removal creams, etc., none of which got rid of my thick, dark hair. Dr. Millik is the best! When I went in for my initial consultation, Dr. Millik was very kind and comprehensive in answering all of the questions I had. I thought that would be all for the day and I'd have to drive all the way back home with nothing done on my face, but to my surprise she had an extra space open that afternoon so I was able to start that very same day. (Things like this have surprised/impressed me several times! On another occasion, I originally only had a 1hr appointment, but she had an opening and squeezed an extra hour in for me.) As far as scheduling is concerned, I have never had any problems, and have been able to request appointments via text message without issue. Dr. Millik's office, from the waiting room to the therapy room, is very quiet, peaceful, and clean. All of her equipment is spotless, and I have never had any doubt that I was getting any non-sterile treatment. Dr. Millik is very good at her job, is detail-oriented, and takes great pride in her work, which you can tell immediately from your first session. For example, a few times, even though I have shown up to appointments with my hair still pretty short (which makes electrolysis more difficult,) she was able to get the hairs without much problem at all. She also makes the effort to make sure that you get your "money's worth" out of each appointment. Even though I have to take breaks several times during my appointments to stretch/relieve tension/etc., Dr. Millik won't stop until she's satisfied and will sometimes spend up to 10 extra minutes after my appointment was supposed to be done to finish clearing an area. In addition, her pricing is very fair and is cheaper than a number of other electrolysis clinics I have found online. Even better than that--she's credentialed by the American Electrology Association so you know she's legit! I highly recommend Dr. Millik's services to anyone who is seeking permanent hair removal. I had never experienced electrolysis before and was very nervous about the procedure. After meeting with Dr. Milik I felt at ease and she was so nice and very patient with my apprehension. My skin type is extremely fair and very light colored hair, so it's difficult to work on. She did a fabulous job and any redness was gone after a couple of hours. Dr Millik did wonders for my face, in two years all facial hairs gone. You have to do exactly as she tells you. If she says come back in a week you do so, if she says on two weeks you do so. Her prices are reasonable, so please do not focus on price if you want results. She doesnt care about your money like that, she even told me not to come as often that my hairs are thin and she will go over scheduled time to get more hairs for you. Electrolysis is a bit painful, i have very high tolerance for pain so i didnt mind the pain, but for most it will be painful, just let her know ahead of time and you can workout a way to have a less painful experience. Highly recommended! I really regret not finding Dr. Millik first as I wasted a year going to another electrolysis place in the Galleria area which was no where comparable to Sugar Land Electrolysis. I dont know why there isnt more reviews on here. I have been Dr Tazun patient for 8months now, and i have seen a tremendous improvement. My face was scared up from ingrown hair, i tried laser treatment but my hair grew much worse and thicker. Dr Tazun office is clean, she is very friendly and nice, takes her time and sometimes goes past your scheduled time to get all the hairs. Price is good, and she will give you tips and how to take care of your skin. I used to pluck every day, now i dont even remember what it feels like always conscious of my face and constantly plucking. Now i can leave the house with just eyeliner, mascara and lipstick and not worry about covering my scares with foundation because scares are almost completely gone. I found Sugar Land Electrolysis through Yelp and was excited to get treated for permanent hair removal. During the consultation, I felt relaxed and felt as if I would experience no complications (Dr. Millik told me that none of her patients have had negative reactions to her treatment). After an hour long electrolysis session, I was told redness would subside in an hour or two. Dr. Millik told me IF I got scabbing, it would take two to three days to heal. Two days after, I noticed small scabs all over my skin. It has now been two full weeks since my first and last treatment and my skin is STILL not fully healed. If you are fair skinned and/or have sensitive skin, please do not get electrolysis. I really wish I was told risks of electrolysis on sensitive skins during the consultation. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Millik for permanent hair removal! I had no luck with laser treatments, sugaring, or threading if anything it made my facial hair worse. It turned my fine hair into dark coarse hair over a period of time. Also, dealing with PCOS. I was depressed to the point where I did not want to leave my house to do anything.
