Ladies were very nice, however there were a couple things I did not like. I got a manicure and pedicure. When they were cutting the cuticles on my feet, they tech cut too far into my skin. I pulled back, because it hurt. She proceeded to cut again, and I said it's okay just leave it. She left it, but came back and cut again. Their banner outside says 30% off all services, however, when I was asking for prices they were trying to give me only 20%. After I specifically told them about the sign they said okay. I paid for my mother and myself and they only discounted 27%, not the full 30%. It's only 3%, but it's about the principle. I just adjusted the tip that I left because I was not too happy. Came with the family and thought the technicians were very nice and attentive. I did shellac for 30 and I really loved the color I chose. I was not happy with some things though. I kept noticing some minor details like my skin peeling on the side or nail polish on my skin so I had to ask my technician to fix it several times. I didn't want to seem stuck up so I basically stopped asking because I noticed she was eager to assist the 3 customers that was waiting. I was also disappointed with how the tech cut a bit into my meat. I felt a burning sensation but I thought it was nothing until I inspected it carefully after I left. It turns out she cut in too deep when cutting my cuticle... I also didn't like how some of the nail polish was on my cuticle... I don't know, we spend money hoping to get a good job well done and I didn't feel that way after. My family thought the service was alright too. Worst experience ever! Left Sweet Escape after several bad experiences & thought this location would be good after reviewing the photos on Yelp. Nope. My teenager wanted some pretty fancy nail designs. Knowing it could be a challenge, we first asked if they had a nail technician that could replicate a photo she had. They looked at my daughter's pic & said that they could absolutely do it. Yea! Nope. They suggested I switch from acrylic to powder as it would look more natural. They showed me a tech w powder nails & they were gorgeous, so I said I would try it. Here we go: My daughter's nails looked nothing like the pic she provided. The picture I am posting actually looks a lot better than they looked in person. Truly, in person, you could see all the uneven shaping & polish. The requested polish would have required 4 different polishes & techniques. I still don't understand why they saw the pic, committed to the design & then did their own version. Don't say you can do something if you can't! Mine are thick & the powder color is uneven on almost every nail. You can see lighter & darker areas & my cuticles were a mess. Ugh. Re sanitation, not sure about status of their sanitization procedures. They made me feel very welcomed. I met the owner, Lin. She actually just took over the nail salon yesterday! Not sure if all of the staff was new or not. My nail tech was Emily. Now if you want acrylics, definitely go to Emily! She gave me the BEST nail job I've ever had. She was so patient with me, gave me exactly what I wanted, fixed any little thing I asked for. She never made a face, huffed or puffed, just gladly did her job. I love her personality. She was telling me how long she's been doing nails, showed me her work- which is excellent by the way, just overall amazing lady. The salon is beautiful, clean and staff is very attentive! They even have a bar and offer you everything! When I declined a beverage she even mentioned, "okay, if you Change your mind, lmk and I'll give you a drink!" Super sweet and super friendly!! I have black powder all over my nails because she put the actual powder ON MY FINGER. First time getting my nails done here. I got a shellac manicure with a simple design. It's a small place, very nice ambiance and clean. They had a good selection of colors. The nail techs seemed nice enough. I think the owner, if not the manager, was the one who did my nails. She was good, and the design turned out nice. It could've been better, but I'm not too fussy. The only thing I could think to criticize is that I got a shellac and paid a good amount for it but she only did my nails. V did a great pedicure, definitely worth the price of $25 for a spa pedicure. My only complaint is that the lady at the front desk (who's name I did not get) was on her phone the majority of the time being the loudest person in there. She also came off a little rude and seemed to rush V on my pedicure so she could help a client that came in well after I did. There was also no where to let my feet dry so the lady from the front desk sprayed my feet with the drying spray getting me out the door as fast as possible. My first time visiting the Nail salon. I normally go to Chic nails off of 99 and 59 and I am kicking myself in the ass, right now. Usually, when I see 20% off advertising, It's either because the establishment is new and they're trying to draw people in or it's because they're not doing well. I've seen this nail salon there for well over a year. It wasn't until I sat down and they started working on me that I noticed how unhappy I would be with the results. It wasn't so much the pedicure or lack there of, it was the lady that did my shellac manicure. How hard is it to mess up a shellac manicure? Well, I came in with Shellac, the nail tech did her thing to take it off, fine. When it came to trimming and filing my nails, every single one was crooked. I asked her politely to re-file and fix, she did. The more she filed the worse it was, both in shape and shortness. The manager had to come over and fix them for the nail tech. After the filing was finished, it was time for the paint. She painted and the polish was everywhere, on my cuticles, the tips of my fingers, it looked so ridiculous! I told the nail tech, she tried to clean it up with the cuticle cutter and her manager came again, the manager looked at my nails and said " your nails look good, the nail tech did a good job!" Ummm, I don't think we were looking at the same hand? Anyway, can't stand people that won't admit their mistakes or they're not willing to fix them. Overall, service was not up to par, they only had 3 techs, the pedi was not that great. Go a couple miles down and spend the extra money at Chic nails. read more

Okay so I came here after a couple of my friends decided to try it out and i loved their results so i decided to give it a shot myself. I came in on a Monday and was asked what I wanted. I then told them i wanted dipped powder and then told me to take a seat. Within 10-15 min, I was assisted. So typically your cuticles are trimmed and the skin around your nail is fully cleaned up before they put anything on the actual nail but the lady did it a little differently. She briefly filed the top of my nail and a little around the sides and spent about 5 min on it which threw me off. I thought she was gonna do a horrible job! She immediately began dipping my nails which i thought was weird. She, however, went back at the end and cleaned most of it up although she missed some spots! i had to correct her a couple of times about the shape and the residue of the plastic nail after filing but she fixed it without any nasty looks. she spent a lot of time on the shape of the nail which i really appreciated! they had a deal for 30% off $45 or more which brought my total down from $45 to $33. She did hurt me a couple times so i took off a star for that as the skin still feels sensitive! overall, i'd recommend! just pay attention to the work though! read more
