Having been a…read morecustomer of Regus locations in NYC for over 20 years, we thought their location in Bohemia would be a good place to meet clients during this tax season. In NYC we normally would book day offices at @150 per day. At @1000 per month we figured 2.5 months would give us more flexibility even if we only would have used 12-15 days. So we agreed to a lease from 2/8-4/30. They would rent partial months in the beginning but wouldn't allow us to leave 4/15. So we have been billed for about $3000 for the time we took. We asked for 2 desks and 3 chairs. We were given 2 small tables, not desks, and 3 chairs. The room was completely undecorated. It presented itself very unprofessionally. The bathrooms while clean are very dated and drab. The hallways dark and rather tired looking. The wifi was spotty at times, making working there difficult and stressful. Several times I had to work from my hotspot in order to complete client appointments. We made sure that we gave sufficient notice that we were leaving at the end of April because despite agreeing to the 2/8-4/30 term, we were told that if we didn't formally terminate they would "automatically" keep renewing and charging us. On April first I was emailed a bill for over $700 for a "restoration charge". No one disclosed that to us. They also charged us a security deposit which I am told will take 1-3 months to be refunded. The locations i used in the city included 230 Park Ave (the Helmsley building) and 599 Lex. Both of these locations were kept immaculately. The offices were professionally decorated and always well furnished. The staff was always courteous and helpful. They never treated me as if they were doing me a big favor when i made a request. And the bills and pricing were never an issue. Because of my profession and my long-term relationship I was only asked to pay for the time used and was allowed to end on April 15. There were no surprises. Maybe this is how Regis now does business. Or maybe it is just this small group of office locations. But for a place that provides a less than terrific experience you would think they would not want their customers walking away feeling like they had been deceived and taken advantage of. Congratulation guys, you squeezed a few hundred dollars out of us for a rather disappointing experience. You have lost a very long term client for life.

When they found out we were leaving they would walk into our office without knocking to show it to potential tenants, so incredibly rude. The women here all gossip about each other as well, really uncomfortable place to walk into every day.

Briana (the owner) is professional, personable, hospitable, and responsible. The community of people co-working here is wonderful. Everyone is cordial and inspiring. It's a nice work environment, but it has a homey and inviting character. Invoices, payments, and receipts are contactless and accessible via the online portal. The place is COVID-clean, there is plenty of hand sanitizer, and masks are worn by all. Can't say enough about this place!
