I went in on Monday and Said I needed the pants done by close of business Thursday as I expected to be traveling to the funeral on Friday. The Funeral was moved up a day s that I had to leave early Thursday morning to get to the funeral. I went in on Tuesday to ask if they could speed up the alterations and have the pants done by 6pm on Wednesday. They immediately said yes, and they delivered; the pants were ready at 4pm on Wednesday and they looked and fit great. Any time I need clothing altered in the future my 1st stop will be New York Tailors.

Located across from Kroger on Shore Dr. in a small strip with Rita's you would miss it if not looking for it. Parking out front of the shop is never a problem. The front of the store is always well maintained. This nice hard working woman who owns the place is a full service shop with alterations, embroidery, patching and name tags. She does a lot of military work since the area lends itself to it. I believe she is Korean, or Filipino... but in any even she is a little bit hard to understand at times. However, she smiles and is very sweet. Even though communication may be slowed at times she understands her customers needs. The turn around is usually within a week and prices are better than other places I have been. A little known fact is she even takes military uniforms to the dry cleaner (for charge) so it's a one stop shop. The workmanship is solid too. I would recommend Sun's to any of my friends.
