They have to see more patient's and have to run more people through when insurance gives them a pittance for exams. As compared to the previous year, I found the staff more relaxed, friendly and professional and the Dr was friendly and took her time. The previous year she took her time and was thorough, but the whole office seemed full of patients and it felt like it was too full & overwhelming. I like it much better now and I like the service I get there.

She's always been a good doctor for my other family members. With my mom, the doctor apparently had other plans. She told her she had 20/20 vision (WHICH SHE DOES NOT and then told her to DRIVE in her dollar store reading glasses.) Her, now retired doctor told her 5 years ago she needs her glasses all the time except for driving..I know eyes get worse with age, therefore her eyes did NOT get better....(hence 20/20 vision). My mom's eyes have NEVER been the greatest. My mom got in the car, before we had buckled up to leave DR Rosenberger was out the door and gone. I understand people have other engagements they have to do. but when you are a doctor of any kind and you are with a patient you have an oath and are suppose to honor that oath. The appt was $160 which in my opinion was basically stealing and a waste of a drive. I will stick to MY eye doctor have her experience. I was thinking about switching, but after this. There is no way! It takes the average person a day and a half to two days or more, to make the 160 bucks. but only takes a few seconds for someone to take it and not give the correct results...Very disappointed in this. Then you take in the office decor, which seems nothing like your typical waiting area at all. Typically, you are greeted with decades old furniture buy here it has actual thought placed into it. Wait time is always minimal with a warm welcome by staff to take you back. They are engaging & and friendly, whereas others just want to push you through the processes with little to no interaction and then on to the next. Then you briefly sat in a separate waiting area & and within minutes I was in a room. Dr. Denaro, I love her professional yet personal touch. She always has a wonderful smile & explains everything. She makes you feel as if you are her main priority that day. You would never know if she had 5 or 50 patients to see. I'm 54 yrs old & worn glasses/contacts since I was 7 & never out of all the doctors I have seen had a doctor make me feel as if they were personally vested in my eye health! My last experience that…read morereally proved this to me was an appointment I had..a 6 month follow up visit... after having cataract surgery on both eyes. My appointment was at the new office in Crossville at 2:10 PM. Somehow I got the time confused & arrived an hour early. I was in pain & was about to leave to come back later, when I was stopped and told that Dr. Galloway would work me in early. This he did indeed and was able to help me very much. He thoroughly checked my eyes and gave me a prescription for a medication that did it's job. I still have some light sensitivity with my eyes, but nothing like it was. After my visit with him, I saw my family practitioner and realized that my Type11 Diabetes had really gotten bad & my diabetic Neuropathy was affecting my eyes. With her continued help and medications, I'm doing much better with my eyes. I will soon be making my annual appointment with Dr. Stewart Galloway. He's the best!!!

Eyes of Athens made up stuff to qualify me as a medical issue so they could bill my medical…read moreinsurance instead on my eye care insurance. Truly stupid stuff, which they didn't track in my last two visits. That allowed them to bill the medical insurance instead of the eye insurance. They then passed the cost to me. So a normal comprehensive eye exam, which should have been zero cost, was suddenly $78.90. They also added other costs which should be covered in a comprehensive exam. What should have been a zero cost to me was a $114.30.
