LASIK Eye Surgery is a game changer!…read more I've been a glasses and contacts wearer for over 25 years. I've been contemplating Lasik Eye Surgery for going on 10 years. The fear of having eye surgery always kept me from going through with Lasik. After many discussions with Donna, the Lasik Eye Coordinator I made the decision to go through with Lasik. The initial consult with Dr. Hudson eased all my fears of Lasik. She was very thorough with testing to ensure I was a good candidate for Lasik. When she told me I was a good candidate, that gave me the confidence I needed to do the surgery. The day of surgery went smoothly! Dr. Hudson walked me through the entire process during surgery. I was nervous but she calmed all my fears. Post op has been great as well. The day after surgery was my first appointment. I like the fact she truly takes care for her patients before, during, and after care. I still can't believe I no longer need glasses or contacts. My eye sight was 20/20 the day after surgery. My quality of life is so much better already. I no longer have to worry about where my glasses are or if I have enough contacts and solution. The freedom I have now is like an outlook on life! When I arrived I was greeted immediately. The front staff and assisting optician staff were all personable. They had to work together to get all my info straightened out before I could see the optician. They did have the abilithy to scan my retina's which important to me. Dr. Richardson did not introduce himself when he walked in to see me, but he was detailed with my exam and I felt comfortable in his knowledge and abiity to assist me. There was plenty of staff in the different positions, I did not see anyone waiting around to be helped. They seem to have an extensive selection of frames. The Rx for my glasses has always been perfect. There are other "discount" eyewear outlets, but they do not have the expertise to get the lens just right for accurate vision. Lighthouse uses high quality lenses and this means getting great vision. The atmosphere is indeed "warm and personal." It's the best eye center in Cookeville and the surrounding area. I used to drive from Mt. Juliet, TN to Cookeville because Lighthouse is that good!

I was hoping that they would make it right and I could ammend my review but it appears they only feigned interest to try to minimize the impact of the bad review.
