A few months back, I attended the Knoxville Home & Garden Show. I am always interested in dawdling…read moreabout the various exhibitors, looking for new and creative things. I usually don't buy anything, but I have fun looking at the tractors and landscaping and such; I guess that makes me a guy. Anyway, one of the exhibits that caught my eye was Diversified Enclosures & Screen. Theirs is a business specializing in sunrooms, screenrooms, handrails, screen doors, motorized screens, retractable awnings, decking and such, but the coolest product is their Weathermaster vertical window systems. Each Weathermaster window has four panes that stack up or stack down so that they can nest in a one, two, three or four panel configuration. For instance, when they are closed, they look like a single solid mullioned window. But here's the coolest part; If you want a small breeze, you push the bottom of the four panes up. You then have a screened open window at the bottom with three panes on top. If you want to open one window on the top, just push down on the top window and it nests neatly into the bottom three panels. Any configuration of four sliding panes can be had. I hope I am explaining this so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about. My wife and I have an existing screened porch we wanted to enclose. The company owner made an appointment for an estimate and was here exactly at the time he said he would be. After the estimate, we agreed and then we had to wait for the windows to be made because they are custom fit for each job. This is not a one size fits all outfit. These are custom contractors who work with high quality suppliers. After the windows were received, the scheduler called, made an appointment and yesterday, they were installed. Wow, what a difference. This is exactly what we were looking for. This company provides excellent customer service and excellent products at reasonable rates. If this is something you are thinking about, it's worth a trip to their office to see what services and products they offer. Diversified is an A-1 business all around from estimate, to scheduler, to installation. It can't get any better than this.

Supply Chain issues slowed the installation timeline a bit, but they met all their target dates and stayed in touch regarding the installation. We are happy with their product quality and work.

Most places didn't even call back as promised, but Jason said just to bring it in for him to get the job done ASAP. His team went above and beyond and even fixed the dash A/C that hasn't worked in years! To top it all off, I asked him to check my back wheel as it was making a clanked sound when I drove. To everyone's surprise, it was loose and it was a lug nut stuck in between the dual wheels! He didn't charge for that, and I feel he was more than reasonable with his prices. He even had me go pick up the RV and trusted me enough to pay the bill weeks later. Jason is a stand up guy and I now have a trusted local mechanic to work on my RV.
