Hotel is decent looking and clean and the grounds are well kept and nice. Hotel is situated in a great location within a 10 minute walk to the Blue Mosques and Hagia Sophia.
There is a restaurant at the back of the hotel with a great view of the sea and this is where breakfast is served daily from 7:30-10:30AM. Breakfast is decent with a variety of breads, pastries, eggs, cold cuts, coffee, juice, yogurt, and a few other items. You can also special order an omelette with your liking. Wait staff are good and friendly but they don't speak much English.
The rooms are comfortable, decent size and has enough plugs for charging. Now, as far as the front desk goes, keep this in mind and be smart when asking for information to restaurants, sights, or even taxis. The front desk staff has a tendency to upsell and point to some 3rd party vendors for dinner boat tours, private driver, and even a tour guide to take you around. All of these options are ridiculous in price and you can easily do it on your own at a fraction of what they quote. For example, a dinner boat cruise is $70 Euro, tour guide at $100 Euro for a few hours, and private driver to the airport for $70 Euro. Keep in mind that you can get a very nice meal with drinks in the old city for 25-30 Euro, and a taxi to the airport for 20-30 Euro.
Other than the front desk pushiness as mentioned above, the hotel is a decent place to stay and is definitely in a convenient location. read more
