Upon entrance you see the will-call window. Enter through the red door to the left. There were a few tables with chairs in the middle, art for sale on the wall. And then double doors to the left to the theater and bathrooms to the right. All the way at the back had a small area selling drinks and snacks. They're advertised as a local theater, but the caliber of the talent was phenomenal. The actors transported us back in time to tell this beautiful and sad story. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance, so much so that we already got tickets for their next play, "Beer for Breakfast" (Oct 17-Nov 2, 2025).

There are 8 plays in the season but you can buy smaller packages. We sometimes are gone and use our extra tickets to later bring friends to a different play. That is the beauty of flex packs. CST has a great reception area with art on display and they sell drinks including cocktails, and snacks. The theatre scene is alive and well in Oklahoma. We also like Jewel Box Theatre and the Civic Center. The play's description: Winn Dottie and Ruth Hamilton have always kept their lives in order, living each day in rural isolation and contentment. All of that changes when the sheriff drops a battered teenager on their doorstep and asks them to keep them safe. My seats were in the second row but honestly I think any seat would be fine in this theater. Seats were very comfortable, lights, camera and audience participation were all on point. The greeters and snack servers were so nice and friendly! I can't wait to go again and again!! Thank you Sooner Theatre staff and performers for a wonderful afternoon of music!

The theatre sells snacks and drinks, and has a cute lobby for us to be in but by cute I mean tiny I think the brick around the interior is really pretty with the other stone accents around the interior walls The seats are comfy but space can get cramped if two big people sit next to each other; this could create an unenjoyable experience. Lots of story telling even though his dad passed8 days before his 2nd bday. I had not heard of AJ tht I can remember but after seeing him and reading some info in his bio he is quite an accomplished musician in his own right. If you are expecting to hear straight up Jim classics you will but they have his own twist. Now as for the theater. Very nice accoustics. Really not a bad seat except when you get to the balcony. There is no way you can sit there for 2 hrs and enjoy yourself. The seats are so tight and close it's like your in the other persons lap. Luckily it wasn't sold out and I was able to move back one row and my wife moved over into mine. Then it was comfortable. Will think abt this the nxt time there is a show there. Seats could be a deal breaker.

The guy at the ticket window couldn't figure out the price so I stepped away. Looked it up and went to another window. Then they the metal detectors which must be set pretty lean as I did not hear it chirp once. Also noticed a new rule this year. Anyone 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at least age 25 and they can only chaperone 5. Trying to cut down on a lot of the unruly activities. Not sure how they are going to police tht though. This year we jumped on the free train tht runs around the grounds. It pretty much makes the trips around to the gates but it was a nice break from walking. The sights and sounds were there as well as all the food smells. Not a midway fan anymore so w me skipped tht. Was a good walk and some exercise.

They have several musical stages set up on each end with local talent. I will say neither end stage had great entertainment while we were there but it was a place to sit in the shade. All kinds of food and drink vendor booths as well as many talented artists. Photography, pottery, painting, mixed media and just about anything you might be interested in. Prices are what you would see at most art feats. Lots of people with dogs which is fine except the concrete and blacktop sure gets hot for them. It is really a nice fest.

This is a local acting troop tht has been putting on Shakespeare plays in the OKC area since 1985…read more They use to do them at several locations/parks around the city but now have a dedicated 200 seat outdoor garden area theatre in the Paseo Arts district where they perform during the summer season and at a a local venue or their 55 seat black box theatre in the paseo. They are very affordable and family fun. It's a good night of entertainment depending on your feel for Shakespeare and what play they are doing.

Two are in the art gallery; one off of paseo drive and the other in parking lot off 29th and dewey. The other two entrances I saw led directly to the outdoor stage that came from the alley on the south between sauced and the theatre, and then 29th street on the north The art gallery is artsy and they have a small concession stand in there with canned beer, wine, water, soda, and some chips and candy. There's also a small clothing store/art gallery attached on the north side
